Can not be shipped via USPS. Both FedEx and UPS will do it.

Damn. I guess I should have read all the replies before I posted. I'd go for it. Worst case, Ohio makes you pay a fee for slow transfer of title. I think there is a time limit for getting something registered.

I would think if it is dated and notarized, the buyer information part would be filled out as well. If that's the case, it needs to go in that persons name, and then transferred to you. If the buyers information is blank, I'd say you could be golden. I doubt Ohio would look at it close enough to notice the notary date is two years old.

Oh yeah, he admits it was all 100% on him. He was looking at it all as if everything would go best case scenario. It pretty much went the opposite every single step of the way. Shit happens sometimes. And his ex was/is actually a good person. I probably didn't word it right in the first post, but I'd say it was 90% on him for what happened. He was too busy chasing the almighty dollar to pay attention to his wife who was living in a completely new environment with no friends or family within 1000 miles. He on the other hand was from the area, and it was more of a homecoming for him. Ignoring your smoking hot young wife in a place like south florida is not a good plan.

Had a buddy do it back during the construction boom years in Florida. It all sounded great on paper going in to it, but it damn near killed him in the end. It was a deal where they were going to handle everything from the moving company to selling his house here and putting him up in Florida for a year so he could find a place there. Plus a fat cash bonus up front. The first hitch that came up was them selling his house. It wasn't as clean and easy as he thought. They let him price it and put it on the market, but after 90 days when it hadn't sold, they told him they would pay fair market value for it or he could take it back over and handle it himself. Well, of course their fair market value was no where near what he was trying to sell it for, but he didn't want to deal with selling it so he took a hit on it equal to about what his moving bonus was. Then, he went big on his new house in Florida right at the top of the market then ended up with a wife who found living in a new place meant wanting to take on new adventures which led to divorce two years after the move. Needless to say, the house went foreclosure, and he took another massive financial hit. Talking to him a few years later, he had gone in to it thinking it was the perfect deal, where his company was willing to pay for the whole shebang, and his wife could transfer to the same area with her company. He had anticipated it being a six figure boost in the right direction, and he figures it cost him nearly $250k instead.

Yep. I get the same way this time of year. Lost my dad five years ago on St. Patricks day. It really sucks to have bad shit happen on a holiday. I'm reminded of it for the whole month of March with every commercial and other holiday based thing that comes along.

Man, I wish you were interested in a buell, or one of the half dozen tire kickers would come up with some cash soon. I have always wanted to try one of these on for size.

Trade price at the two local dealers was as expected. $15.5k & $16.2k. That's with a purchase price of 1% under invoice using chryslers affiliate pricing program. I'm sure if I tried, I could get more out of them as that was the first number each gave me. Only problem was neither of them had the color that we want and my wifes first(and only) choice for color has been discontinued, so they can't just order one. I easily found six, but of course they are all at dealers 250 miles away. Those dealers can't(won't) give me a trade in number until I bring my jeep to them to look at, and I'm not willing to drive that far without having a deal already in place, so selling outright looks to be the only option.

Sorry. The +2500 part is a killer. And a ducati? bleh. They suck.

now with a new rear tire!

If I wanted to ride with a group, I'd have bought a bus.

I made it official. Took the plow off the tractor and put the mower deck on. Spring has sprung.

We sold my boys cricket when he got a 10/22. To be honest, the cricket is a good first gun, but it's a toy, not of good enough quality to be kept even for sentimental " first gun" value. I would list the gun and ammo on gunlistings.org for $150, and take $125 for it, getting your money back out of the deal. There's no reason to lose money on any gun or ammo right now.

I didn't, but my bike did. My bud came over and took it out for an hour or so. His bikes were stolen last year. He is wanting to go buy something new, but wants to wait till he moves before he buys. Borrowing mine is his fix to hold him over. I may ride tomorrow.

Ah, much better. It makes more sense asking with all that information. The part in bold would be where I would spend all my time researching. What kind of job placement after graduation, starting wages, wages after five years, etc. If that all ends up being even as well, next would be cost. OSU is cheaper? That's where I'd be going. Now, if scholarships are going to cover enough and you have the luxury of not having to worry about the rest of the cost(parents/trust/sugar momma), then it would get down to where would I rather be, and how's the motorcycle riding. For that, I'd say Lexington. Longer summer(more time for scantily dressed co-eds), better roads, more public lands near by, and a cheaper cost of living. Good luck whichever way you go.

Please give us more details. Have you been accepted to either college? Got Scholarships? Trust fund to pay for it? What is your planned major? Your question is almost laughably stupid. If your choice on deciding which college to go to has any basis on hows the riding near by, I would say you need to be considering a couple community colleges. Go get some basics for a whole lot less cash, and save real college for when you figure out what you want to get out of it. Now, if the question is which is a better place to live and party as an irresponsible late teen/early twenties, Columbus or Lexington, I would say Lexington hands down.

Everything Issac's papa has posted - +1. Just cuz it's not something you agree with doesn't mean it's wrong. Different strokes for different folks and all that stuff. I can only imagine all the mistakes I've made with my kids in other peoples eyes. Actually, I don't care what mistakes I've made in other peoples eyes. I'll raise my kids how I see as right. I know I was told my kids should be taken away from me when the wife posted this photo on facebook or somewhere a few years back.

Think outside the normal places. The DOE converted the old uranium processing plant property here locally in to one of the nicest preserves around. They also added a full museum about the history of the place. Inside the building is a community use area, free for anyone to use. It's big enough for the scouts to use it for the soap box derby and other events at, so plenty of room for whatever. It has a full kitchen, facilities, and you can set it up however you want with their tables and chairs. Almost no one knows about it, heck, most don't know it's an open to the public preserve, and I've never heard of anyone not being able to book it when they want. I'm sure there's more places like it out there.

See. That's who it's really about. If your wife or you have a serious need for approval from all those friends and family, then go for the huge over the top kids first birthday parties. I've been to my fair share of them and feel sorry for the kids in the long run. Now that sounds reasonable. Not what I was expecting when you want to start planning it three months ahead of time. Our kids parties are usually more like "ah crap, your birthday is next week, what do you want to do" type of get togethers.

She's never going to remember it. Be honest, who's the party really for?

When I bought my first bike, they gave me insurance on it then two weeks later sent me a cancellation notice saying there was no one at my address with a motorcycle endorsement. It gave me 30 days to provide the endorsement. As this was shortly after my birthday and right around this time of year, I had to get to the dmv and pass my test the first weekend they offered it that year or I would have been screwed. Cold, crappy, rainy day and there were three of us there for the test. A girl who had failed it eight times the year before, and another young kid who had been riding dirt bikes his whole life on a 200 dual sport. The girl went first, didn't make it three turns and dropped her bike. Maybe the tenth times the charm. Dirt bike guy made it look so simple on that little DR/XR/whatever. I did it and passed, but sure as hell made sure to tell all my friends to borrow a little dual sport to take the test on. Wait, what's the topic again?

When I was buying my current house eight years ago, I attempted to roll all my insurance to SF as I had always had my cars and bikes with them. I had a homeowners claim three years prior, and my SF guy failed to tell me that was going to disqualify me from getting SF insurance on my new home for five more years even though I had been talking to him about it for months. I didn't find that out until a few days before closing when I needed to get my insurance paperwork finalized. Yes, I was pissed. I jumped through two days of hoops to get insurance and ended up getting it from some guy my father in law knew for a shit ton more than I should have had to pay just so I could close my purchase. I bundled all my stuff together and shopped it and ended up with allstate. A few years later, I got a cold call from a new SF guy here closer to my current house and I told him my story. He asked me to give him a chance to earn my business, and I went in and talked to him. Ended up rolling everything over to SF and have been happy with him ever since. He's talked me out of upping coverage when the costs outweigh the benefit, called me when my cars crossed the point of not being worth keeping full coverage on and to drop my coverage to save money, and is great about giving me quotes via email and changing policies for the revolving motorcycles and cars of late without any issues.

Yep. Same here. Growing up in the 'burbs, I had to deal with my car getting a window broke and the aftermarket stereo stuff stolen every few years. Once I grew up a bit and learned to live with factory stuff, I just got used to leaving the car empty of anything important and the doors unlocked. Didn't have any problems for ten years. Moved out to the country with the good ole peace and quiet with no neighbors and have had my house burglarized twice in three years. Both times the typical meth head 90 second quick hit, both times just under enough dollar amount to justify claiming on insurance. Ever since the first time I've been meaning to put in a good security camera setup, and GPS my bikes and other higher dollar stuff that may walk off eventually, but since we started to look for our next house last year, I decided to wait till we move. A lot of good that did when I got hit last fall. And don't even get me started on how worthless the sheriff's department is for doing anything about it.

I would have thought first thing once in the prison was to close any holes in the outside fencing/walls and 100% clear the interior of walkers. Then, use that perfect double fence exterior to draw in the walkers for simple and safe through fence head spearings. Clean up, repeat. Yeah, too much thought in to a tv series.
