Sandy Hook was a tragedy. And I am all for honest to goodness policies that might prevent it. Like a guard at schools. Properly trained employees with CCW permits, I'm even for background checks prior to the sale of a weapon, etc. But it doesn't matter if the killer used an assault rifle or not in the shooting. It doesn't justify taking away the constitutional rights of law abiding citizens. If you don't understand the reasoning behind the second amendment. You need to go back to school. Or watch the news from other countries. For some reason many Americans have a false sense of security, that the government is always acting in their best interest. You don't have to like guns, or even own one. Just don't tell a law abiding american they can't have one.

I tow a 5x8 & 2 bikes with my Pontiac Grand prix. Get between 21 & 23 depending on speed, as long as the trailer doesn't have a gate on it. You should be fine with just about any 4 dr, as long as you can find that a proper hitch is available for that weight.

First, the range is first class. Really enjoyed it. Selection is OK. Not because of inventory, but because they can't keep anything in stock. Ever since the election, and their has been a run on anything that could be considered an assault rifle/hand gun and ammo. I was there last Wed, and I believe they sold out of AR-15s that night. There were 5 of us (friends together) and 3 of them went home with brand new AR-15s. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even with the place being busy. For me, Target World is just too crazy. This place was refreshing. If you have an idea of what you are looking for, call first. Otherwise, just go, and see if anything works for you. You don't have to buy, they have rentals. That may help you decide what you really want. Be safe and have fun!!!

Went shopping today and came home with a new toy. Was leaning towards the Leupold, but they were short on stock. The shop I went to didn't stock Vortex, so Nikon it was. Went with the Nikon Monarch. Already have measured and installed the cheek pad, mounted the scope, set eye relief, & leveled it. Now only one more thing to do...... Time to test & adjust it in at the range. Hope I get it done soon!!! Sorry for the phone pic.

I haven't been there yet, but have some lanes scheduled Wed. A buddy has already become a member. Can't wait.
