We have been very happy with the Nook we gave to our daughter. More versatile then the Kindal, and works great! Had it for 2 years now. Still looks and works like new. But we got the book like cover for it too.

I could see someone wearing a helmet could make a clerk uneasy. But in this case, it doesn't look like it played into the result. They knew each other, and were arguing for a while before the shooting.
