Those were not my words. I said I prefer to avoid them. .

    Pig Cop

I used to have a positive attitude towards the police until I was victimized by two lying Columbus idiots that fabricated a story right in front of me that was very far removed from the truth. That did it for me. Now, I just prefer to avoid them. They make the truth to be what they say it is and if you have no one to back you, you become a victim. .

It seems there is a negative stereotype that some cops put effort into living up to; like it is ingrained in them during training and expected of them by their peers. One of them is enough to deal with. Two of them is bordering on problems. Enter a black female cop and any white man is a shitbird that's always wrong even when he's home sleeping. More noticeable positive behavior, and less authoritative heavy handedness would go a long way towards creating a better public image. You are the tool the government uses to have it's way with the people. The government is out of hand and the people are fed up. It's not a free country anymore and law enforcement seems to have become predatory in it's enforcement practices. Speed traps; a way of taxing faster drivers for a victimless infraction. Do more positive things and more videos will be made of it. There are many awesome videos of motorcycle cop competitions. That's positive in my mind, to a degree. .
  5. Day off work. Rain. Crap! Winter still here. Glad I got a ride in yesterday. Felt good. 70 miles. Roads not bad. Sun shining. Watching Laura Calder on Cooking channel. Wish she was cooking for me. Now, another coffee, I think. .
  6. It's on the east side. 78 N. Cedar St. , I think.
  7. Might as well get a bone put through the kids nose while she's at it. This is tomorrow's style, today. Be the first on your block! Get your little cutie started off right. Here's the fella your little cutie will marry. For just a small additional price, a lip plate will be the envy of all her friends. Now, where do you draw the line? I say stop it before it even gets started. .
  8. I think a courtesy flash is too brief for others to notice a lot of times. I've began to lengthen my flash to a couple seconds so they can't miss it. .
  9. The way I see it is that after the traffic light, the caddy got on the line or partially into the right lane while the motorcycle was still behind him. I don't see that the motorcycle was in his blind spot. 00:13.....Bike's rear tire is just leaving the crosswalk while the caddy appears to be applying brakes, and is on or approaching the line between the lanes, ahead of the motorcycle. Caddy slows further and veers into path of motorcyclist. Motorcyclist, having not slowed or changed lane position as situation developed in front of him, in left lane, has had his safe stopping distance suddenly removed from him by a much slower vehicle and collides with said vehicle. .
  10. I like the idea of staying out of sight and using a slingshot. It's silent and when it hits, it hurts.
  11. For anyone passing through or near Newark for the ride to Hocking Hills, I would like to offer an invite to meet up and possibly link up with others as they pass through on their way. Details to follow as more information surfaces. . Edit: Details can be found here: NEWARK - Join us? (Epic Ride) Click here for our latest information: http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=102916 .
  12. You don't see poor people providing jobs for the rest of us. It's the rich who employ us. They provide the jobs that feed, house, and clothe our families. The benefits they provide to this country through jobs, services, manufacturing, and agriculture allows most of us to live better than if we tried self employment. Income tax is collected because of those jobs, and lots of it. It's those tax dollars that feed the have-nots, the do-nothings, and those unable to provide for themselves. When the rich spend money on cars, planes, a 3rd home, or a dinner out, the economy is stimulated and gives us work, which means we have income. And the government collects taxes on all of it, more taxes than 100 of us pay in a year. We need the rich to keep this country running and to keep us all employed. And we need them to stay in this country. However, many of them are leaving to other countries that welcome them with open arms. When they feel abused and vilified by the government, their love for this country will evaporate and they will take all their wealth with them, along with our opportunity for a better life. I won't even get into how much they contribute to charities which benefit many of us when we have a need. And without them, many of these charities would not exist. They have the know-how and the ability to succeed and we could all learn a lot from them. If you divided all our wealth up evenly, because they know how, in ten years it would be redistributed to it's present day levels. The poor would be poor again and the rich would be back on top. Be glad we have wealth in this country and don't make the ones who have it the bad guys. .
  13. I detect that there is a need for a Rent-A-Wife service. You make a selection from a menu, she comes and provides "domestic services" for as many days as you pay for, and most importantly, she leaves. No strings. No attachments. No problem. If you want her to return, dial up the service and place your order. If you want a different selection, make your desires known. If you desire multiple providers, it can be arranged for a nominal service fee. Do you think there would be a market for this? I'm sure there would be provided they cook well and provide actual cleaning and other wife-like functions with an attitude of good service. .
  14. That's not how the Dream Ride went last year. I did a lot of chasing for my first ever group ride. The ride leader said he was only doing 55 but I was doing 70 most of the way due to a ZX-14 dropping back in front of me, pushing me back, and then zooming ahead to catch up. I hope this year is a little different. .
  15. I would have been very interested in getting out of there before some cager called the cops. I'd have had a truck on the way straight away.
  16. I popped Squid into Google and came across some things in the Sportbike Network Forum. squid (skwd) n. pl. squids or squid A motorcycle rider who demonstrates a lack of respect for the general public and the failure to realize the possible negative impact that could result from their riding actions on public or non-public roads. The squid is just unable to rationalize or conceptualize the possible negative outcomes resulting from their actions. This is regardless of whether or not they wear protective gear. The squid does not realize that it is not that they are not wearing gear that makes them a squid - it is the fact that they think they are exempt from social morales and can pull a 10 o`clock wheelie on public roads or weave in and out of traffic at twice the traffic speed just because they can.I came across this, SQUID PURITY TEST http://www.bytebrothers.org/SquidTest.htm It might be a spam thing of some sort, but you can read the questions just for fun. ...and this. S.Q.U.I.D. Stupidly Quick, Under-dressed, Imminently Dead http://www.sportbikes.net/forums/fz6/293895-squid-definition.html .
  17. I couldn't stand it anymore. I had to look it up.What is DERP? DERP is "Reply to stupid comment or action"
  18. ^^^ And this is just one small example of how we are being divided against each other. It's never been like this, before this administration. We are all victims and it's not going to end as long as we allow it to continue. Along the same line, since WE are their employer, WE are the bosses, when they vote themselves a raise, we vote them a decrease in wages and demand it! Our voices are not heard, therefore we are not speaking loud enough and with enough force. They are like unruly children and we have to get their attention to get them to behave properly. It's way past time for a change in how things are done in DC. .

  20. Sorry for your coming hardship. We are all victims in one way or another of our government using us as pawns. The government is way over-bloated and has proven itself to be more expensive than the country can support without hardship for all. We need it fixed before they own everything we have. .
  21. Instead of one President, how about a group of three persons, all elected separately, and not as a team, to head the country? I've played with that idea in my head. I don't know if it's been tried in any other countries but they would have to work together to accomplish anything, and destructive powers like we've seen these past years would be minimalized. .
