They're only $50, and usually at a nearby location. You'll want to enroll soon after they're posted though - they tend to fill up fast. The ARC is one evening of classroom material then a Saturday or Sunday full of maneuvering exercises, mainly focused on turns and quick stops. Probably not nearly as fun as Todd's idea though!

Awesome! You might consider taking an MSF course with your new bike in the spring. When I got my VStrom last December, I scheduled an Advanced Rider Course the moment they came up and I benefitted a lot from the exercise. Really helped me bond with my bike before several longer trips.

I'm not necessarily your target market, but I do have a policy that may apply. I never borrow or lease for a hobby, and in Ohio motorcycles are a hobby because most people only ride 6-9 months out of the year. I also prefer to work on and customize my own bikes, which I' guessing I wouldn't be able to do on a lease. Looking at this from the lending side of the deal, be sure to price in the actuarial likelihood of someone having an accident, theft, garage-rash or leaving the bike in the elements. Lots of financial risk there you'd want to price into your leases.

I think Jax wanted to sever the connection that drew him in - wanting to explore who his old man was, and becoming open to the club's (toxic) brotherhood as a course of discovery, thinking that he might be able to pick up his dad's charge and make a difference so that only brotherhood was left after renouncing violence. He of ultimately learned how impossible that would be, and that he himself adopted the violence that he wanted to push away. He wanted to prevent his kids, especially his eldest son, from being groomed into the club, feeling the value of brotherhood, but becoming too embedded before discovering its poison.

I put 50 rounds through the P250 tonight and I like her! .75" centers at 20' shot single-handed. Weirdly I shoot it worse two-handed. Need more practice. But she's a keeper, so I came home with Talon rubberized stick-on grips and a Desantis tuck IWB holster to break in.

Yea. The trick is to have cash ready and transportation easy to arrange, and then just keep looking and pounce like a puma when that ONE comes up.

You and I have similar project tastes. I'd love a CL350 or R90, or even a 50-60-75/5-6 if it were priced right. There are a few of each out there right now but (thankfully?) I'm focusing myself on the CB77. In fact I finished the tank, side panels and sump cover's base coats on Monday and am letting them cure before I put down a 2K clearcoat. I also got a replacement speedo/tach/odo cluster in the mail yesterday.

I'm envious! I need more clay time, but just don't have much time for clay these days. Damned motorcycle habit has me riding during most of the decent weather.

Funny. That's how I sold my Beretta 391 for asking price plus shipping. A guy in New England wanted that exact model for his kid's clay competition. Great guy - even sent me a pic of his kid dominating his first match.

I was expecting dialogue in the SOA thread last night, or at least this morning... -== SPOILER ALERT - DON'T READ FURTHER IF YOU HAVEN'T YET SEEN THE FINALE ==- I kinda wanted to see that, as some perverse desire to be punked by Sutter. I watched the first few seasons of SOA as a guilty pleasure and still think season 3's closure with Jimmy and Stahl being offed to "Hey Hey My My" and "The Matador" was directorial brilliance. SOA lost its shine for me after though - way too much of a stretch to think these people would keep coming back to the same hazards time and time again, and the Ireland season was fatiguing. Plus, chase scenes on HDs - really?? Winner winner chicken dinner! Too bad about the vintage bike though. Its blue color against everyone else's blacked-out models riding out from the warehouse was notable. Also the homeless grim reaper girl with wine, bread, and later Jac's blood sacrament for his son was a nice touch too. Glad the While Buffalo's music was used at the end - that guy has a great voice.

Can they be used to soften the initial lurch of FI engines? I've adapted fine, but I know several riders who got used to a carb's delayed response off the bottom.
