Ive heard of people not fully loading their mags for reason being that it "wears out" the spring and follower. Is a mag with a few less rounds worth it when SHTF? What do you guys do? And this applies to both pistols and rifles. Right now, i have both fully loaded. Just fired the pistol today and no problems with the mag or feeding. Just curious what others do and why.

Havent see of or even heard of a supercharged MX6 let alone with a ZE motor. Those got high compression as is. And i dont know about the 89(gen 1) MX6s but i know that my 93 was a blast to drive. It wasnt no Horse Power monster but it could move. I just liked that you didnt see any others on the road with you. Maybe theres a reason for it but i miss mine. Could just be the sentimental factor though i guess.

Just browsing around. Not alot to do here on the down time. Thank you, im glad someone gets what im saying. Its not going to be a car on the cover of any magazines, but its CHEAP, easy and fun. (insert witty prostitute joke here). Just something that ive been toying with. The MX6 isnt for everyone, i get that. But it was my first "project car" that never got finnished or really even closed for that matter and its always kind of bugged me.

Technically i dont drive it, i sit in back and wait for something to happen. But i see everyones point. I probably would throw way too much money at it by the time its said and done. Just dissapointed i never got to finnish it. Why were at it though, whats everyones take on the S2000? Is a 6' guy too big for one?

Just been thinking/missing my old 93 MX6 lately and was wondering if you think it would be dumb to buy another and pick up where i left off. I know its not a highly sought after car but thats whats nice, not many around. It was a fun little tuner but after hydrolocking the engine i had to sell and now im thinking it could be fun to finnish what i started? Or am i retarded for even thinking it?

Well, ive been deployed for about 3mths in Afghanistan and the boredum bug is starting to get to me. Theres only so much time you can spend at the gym, on facebook, or watching movies. So, im going to start trolling this forum again for entertainment and talk about cars, trucks, bikes, guns and boats, since i havent really been on much since about last summer. Hopefully itll kill some time and i wont go insane being here. Just thought it was only fair to give you a heads up so you wasnt wondering where i came from when i start posting again.

Oakhurst CC in Grove City was awesome for good price. Cant bring your own catering but their caterer was great. Thought you might like to know.

Insurance is with USAA and i had to agree that i would keep the truck garaged the entire time i was gone or else i could get in trouble. But i guess ill call them and see what can be done about having the wife or someone else drive it once monthly since this seems to be the #1 tip. I guess i left some info out that would help. Its a 2001 Ford Ranger 4.0 v6 4x4. It will be stored in my garage (not heated). Also as far as having someone drive it once a week or month, my wife would be able to, but i have already arranged for insurance to be placed on hold (This will cut insurance costs in half). But if she just started it would that be good enough along with the other tips mentioned aka jack stands, stabilizer, etc. Thanks again fellas.
