LJ, i dont see how you think the NCAA is acting out of line on this. This is an NCAA issue for the simple fact that it involved NCAA coaches and facilities. If anything, the punishment wasnt even that bad, granted theres not alot else that can be done considering one guy is dead and ones off to prison.

I lived on Tradewind Dr from 05-08 in a Duplex with my parents while in High School and we never had a problem there. We was looking at the Condos across the street and they have only gotten worse, not so much the ones facing the streets, but the ones on the inside look like some nasty people live there. The wife and I also lived off of Crosswind in the Condo portion of that neighborhood and again we never had a problem but some of the condos really do make the rest of the place look like garbage. The rest of the neighborhood is nice though and pretty well established with mostly older folks. Hope that helps some.

I got mine before i went to BCT but that was only because i needed one to get onto Rickenbacker and take a ride in a Black Hawk. This was back in 07 tho.

Good info here. But im not looking to start just yet (still in Afghan), thinking this would be a good winter project. I think if my step dad (alot of the help), is willing to help this winter, then its a go. Guess well just have to see after i get back though.

Not looking at turning the 48 into a bobber, thats just what gave me the inspiration. Looking for an older/cheaper Harley frame, with a Harley 1200 motor. From what ive read on line it sounds like its something you can do in your garage in a month or so depending on time and do it for less than $5-7500. Im assuming that since theres so little parts involved in a bobber/rat bike, that it makes it this cheap. I would be going a simple route, flat black all with red wheels. Hope that helps a little more. Basically just trying to find out if what i want is possible with that little money, and basic tools (going elsewhere for welding, etc.)

Only morning radio that was good was Blazer and Mo but i heard there gone now. But over here its Pandora in the rooms, IPOD in the gym and Kabul Rock in the up armoureds lol.

I deff recommend Hocking Hills. The wife and I have gone the past two years. Get a cabin for a couple days (pretty much all have hot tubs). Theres lots to do down there, hiking, horse back rides through trails, zip lines, atv/side by side rentals for trails, swimming in lake logan, etc. Just a really nice and relaxing place to be. I work in Private Ambulance and transport Dialysis patients all the time, i know how difficult it can be for them to plan around treatments so deff get out and enjoy some time with the wife to get her mind off of it.

I agree with Hal, but i would still probably not euthanize. Just doesnt seem right for the dog regardless of the quality of life. But its understandable, guess im just a hippie.

Has anyone on here ever built/modified a bike to a bobber? Iv been looking at bikes and the Harley 48 is the kind of bike that i liked. But after looking around on line i saw that you can build a bobber yourself for around 5k (Harley is 10k). Minimal reading made it seem like its something that can be done fairly easily, just trying to find out if this is true or not. And please dont bash this thread saying "dreaming, and never will actually do it", etc.
