Those are crazy cheap. Whats the catch? And the class is held at like Donatos and a Church? So where do they go for range time? Also, if anyone on here does a class, i would almost prefer to go that route.

So the wifey has been thinking about getting her CCW for a while now. So toss out some cheap places to do it. I heard MoJo does one or was working on getting it together last time i heard. Lets hear it?

The AmeriGlo brand was the only brand that vances sold. From what little googling i did, they was all around the same price. Not sure of any height difference though, but seems the same as originals. Crossbreed said it would take 4-6wks to arrive, so thatll give me time to get a nice belt for it. I hear that makes a world of difference so well have to see. Im happy to hear that someone here thinks its comfy, thats reassuring. 1-In my house at night, i know my sons in his crib, and my wife is by my side, so anyone else in my house doesnt really need to be identified. Besides that, theres enough ambient light to be able to make out a target. 2-I dont find my NS difficult to see in low light situations either. Also i dont find the 3 green dots difficult to align, regardless though, nothing practice wont perfect. The down fall with a weapon mounted light, is i cant concealed carry it, hence the night sights being a better option. As far as at home goes, i will likely pick up a light for around the house, but at the same time, a white light gives away your position.

1-Thank you, i love it. 2-Maybe you should try them and see for yourself. I might not have done it had my original sight not fell apart. But this was the logical choice after that. 3-No idea, maybe has something to do with being striker fired is my guess.

Well for starters, are there any meets left in the season? I would love to get out and put some faces to names and see some nice cars again.

So after my last visit to the range, i get home to clean the pistol and realize that my front sight white dot had fallen out/apart/deteriorated. After a quick search, i found that this was some what of a common problem. For a quick fix, i use some of the wifes neon green nail polish to cover where the white paint used to be, but it didnt help at all. No problem, this was just the excuse i needed to upgrade the sights. So i make a trip to Vances, pick up some AmeriGlo night sights and have them installed while i wait. $117 total and they didnt charge for install. Obviously low light/no light is a 100% improvement over the standard sights, and day light seems about the same but might actually be an improvement as well considering the little green breaks up all the white which i think will help. I will find out if thats true or not the next time i shoot. It works, but i just ordered a Crossbreed Supertuck yesterday so im anxiously awaiting that. Anyone have any experience with the Supertuck? Well i havnt been on since getting home in early Sept. Ive been catching up with family and friends and adjusting to being a stay at home dad with a 10mth old. All is good though and im very happy to be home again. Now that im all settled in, i can jump on here in between my sons naps haha. Also, i got lots of questions about lots of different things so get ready for those soon. BTW is there any Cars and Coffee saturdays left or are they done for the year. I am also left eye dominant but right handed. My first time shooting a pistol i tried shooting right handed but realized that i would have to learn to shoot left handed (because of left eye dominance) after seeing my shot group was low and right. Might want to try this yourself, you could be surprised with the difference. Just my .02 though.

Thanks again for all the support everyone, its greatly appreciated. I just made it to the airport in Kabul after a whopping 1min 51sec helo flight lol, and found out that were stuck here for 4 days. So that means i wont be making it to CC&C for a little while, but i will deff check it out when i get back. And Joe, ill have to take you up on that drink so we can actually meet. Sounds like you had it way worse than me for sure. Despite what the news makes it out to be, its actually been really calm for the most part, at least for us anyways. Im sure some of that has to do with being in the Kabul area. We never once took contact or had to deal directly with IED's. Obviously all of us wanted to come over here and "see/do" something, but at the same time, its nice to be able to come home to my wife and son in one piece. We just feel like we didnt really get to do our jobs. Oh well. Regardless though, thanks for what you did. Fortunately for me, i have a beautiful wife and handsome son waiting to welcome me home.

It definitely sucked being away for the first 8mths, but at the same time, i would rather it be now while he wont remember any of me being gone, but at the same time it does suck to miss all his "firsts". And yes im done for good once i get back. My contract is up in March. Thanks man, i appreciate it. Im a 68W (medic) with an Infantry platoon. We was supposed to have a "Land Owners" mission in Paktika or Khost but it got changed the day before we got in country and we got stuck in Kabul doing SecFor, PSD, Convoy Security, etc. All just fancy Army words for a glorified taxi all around the Kabul area.

Its sad when theres more shootings state side than there are in Kabul.

Well after 12mths (10mths) in Afghanistan, im finally starting the journey home tomorrow. Its been a very long and very slow year. I feel like i have missed out on a lot of stuff, especially my sons life. I got to country in November and went on R&R mid December so i could be home for the birth of my son. It was great to be there for the birth and i wouldn't change it for the world, but damn, 8 straight mths over here feels like forever. Anyways, i'm looking forward to just relaxing and then getting life back on track. Hopefully i can catch a few meets before the end of the season too. See you soon fellas.

If thats Polaris Point apartments (looks like it), then theyve been going down hill. My buddy lives there and for what they pay, there shouldnt be trash living there, but there is. Heard plenty of stories from him about shady shit like this.

Still sounds like a good deal, pending that it wasnt abused. Just because it has an intercooler doesnt mean you should count it out. Looks clean and cheaper with less miles than an STI for the price. Maybe insurance is cheaper too.
