Has anyone ridden the winding road beside the New River Gorge Bridge? Is it worth the time? Or should I just get back onto WV16 and keep heading to Marion, VA?

Yeah. I'm going to play it safe and take the Connie. I need to ride a nearly 700 mile day coming back, and I know the big girl can do it comfortably.

It's a contractor. ODOT doesn't self perform paving operations. The maintenance of traffic plans are often designed by the project's designer (outside engineering consultant). The contractor may have designed the MOT. If so, they designed the MOT to maximize their efficiency on the project. ODOT has a website that will let you download the project plans and find out who the contractor is.

Yeah! My Friday morning meeting just got cancelled. I can now leave on the motorcycle first thing Friday morning. That will give me an extra half day of motorcycle riding to find the most twisty route to the Outer Banks. My only constraint is that I am supposed to meet the wife and kids there on Saturday night.

I loved my DRZ. They are a fun bike, but the new ones should be updated. this one looks well cared for. That would be a lot of fun for $2899. LBTS GLWS.

If your going to ride Hocking Hills on the weekends, ride early in the morning. There is way less traffic.

I had two 10Us that I got very frustrated with. Each unit lasted approximately 1 year before they crappier out. I recently got a 30k, and it is much better than the 10u. I still have 2 smh10s that my kids use while riding with me. They are very good and reliable units. I wouldn't trust the adhesive mounts.

The 3 girls (with goggles on) are my daughters. The boy is my buddy's son. My pullout game was strong 20 to 25 years ago. It diminished with time.

It is possible to have kids and enjoy motorcycling. I don't ride like I used to. While I don't blame anyone for not riding while they have little kids, it is possible to have both. I couldn't make it to the Epic Ride, because of a promise to my kids.

New T30 Evos and suspension adjustment on the FZ1. Previous owner had 60 series tire on front. The old tires were Contimotions, and they were not good. Switched back to a 70 series up front and a 55 series in the back. There is a significant improvement in cornering.

There are some Austrian bikes that aren't too shabby.

If you want to ride up to Pataskala, I have a 1" lowered seat that you can borrow. This would let you see if you like it before sinking $ into it (and potentially not liking the results). I can't stand flat footed on the Connie either. My only issue is backing it up in off camber or gravel areas. At those places, I back it up before getting on it.

I'm in for medium-fast group.
