  1. Your more than welcome to try my Connie. I've ridden both the FZ1 and Connie for extended periods, and the comfort level is not even close. You can ride the Connie at 100 mph all day long (or until LEOs catch you). It's not just searing position. The wind protection matters also.
  2. Gene also admitted that he was the one that told Urban. How do you reprimand an employee, if their superior tells them about the incident? Drake should be gone within a year or two.
  3. I am all for due process, but the wait today is getting ridiculous. Let's get on with it already!
  4. It sounds like everyone here did not steer you in the right direction on your suggest a new bike thread. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and resolution to your potential legal settlement issue!
  5. Too bad this wasn't a few years ago. I threw my stock exhaust in the trash. I have no use for a boat anchor.
  6. There are some quiet aftermarket pipes that look better, and they ate significantly lighter. Put an aftermarket exhaust with an ECU rehash, and it really wakes up the bike. If you're ever on Columbus, you can also try my bike. I have the old Guhl ECU reflash with a slip on pipe. With the silencer insert, it is not loud. Good luck on getting it sorted out.
  7. If you go somewhere fun, I would like to do it again. The Multistrada is a very capable machine to ride long distances.
  8. We went to Karl's Cuisine. It was pretty good. I would go there again. I went in support of my brother and cousin, so they could qualify for IB.
  9. Rode it to lunch and back in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.
  10. Where is the nearest liquor store? What time does the pool close? What time is breakfast?
  11. According to Zach Smith, Gene Smith and OSU were aware of 2015 allegations: www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football/2018/08/94914/zach-smith-says-he-never-committed-domestic-abuse-in-first-public-interview-since-firing There will be many more revelations. Can we have our coach back?
  12. That is true, Ohio is an at will state. Lawsuits for improper termination are not uncommon. We have settled a couple of these at work, because we could settle it for less than the attorney fees to defend it. It drives me crazy when we do it. Too bad I didn't have two beers.
  13. Title IX has grown in size and scope from its original purpose: https://www.justice.gov/crt/overview-title-ix-education-amendments-1972-20-usc-1681-et-seq
  14. Yes, he was fired for violating a protection order (which is a criminal offense). Firing Smith before the the criminal action opens up potential liability for OSU and Meyer for improper termination. Title IX was created to ensure gender equity. It was not created for a governmental institution to control personal actions outside the scope of employment. Let due process take its time. Too many people are too quick to make hasty decisions. There will be lots of currently unknown information coming out in the near future.
  15. Without criminal charges being filed on Zach Smith, OSU and Meyer would have been sued for improper termination of employment for firing Smith. It`s not wise to hold a head coach responsible for an employee`s actions away from the workplace (and outside the scope of employment).
  16. "The motorcycle was a Honda or Suki crotch-rocket, according to the police report." You gotta love the suki crotch rockets!
  17. Crotch rockets are dangerous? The guy was on an fz10, and that is not a crotch rocket. It is a naked sport bike. The rider magazine description in that article makes me want to get one. Next, they will want to ban sport touring bikes that can ride Cherohalla Skyway at 70 to 100mph.
  18. I am crossing my fingers that this doesn't interfere with my daughters' softball schedule or family vacation schedule. Early in June is better for me.
  19. I work for a contractor. We work within the ODOT & FHWA bureaucratic restraints. The bureaucrats care way more about Indiana Bats, Fish spawning season on a small portion of a stream, or silt than they do for motorcyclist safety. Sad, but true. Motorcyclists need to watch out for their own safety, nobody else is.
