I sometimes use WD-40 to change my tires. It seems to work well. No way in hell that I would use it for cosmetic reasons.

I blew mine with 30k+ miles. After that, I became much more careful about keeping the front end on the ground. 600+ lb. bikes aren't meant to have their front wheels off the ground. Travel safe guys! I wish I could have made the trip!

Something else about the Connie, the wind protection allows riding all year long. I rode the Connie to work in the mid to upper 30s yesterday and it was nice. I rode the FZ1 today at 39 degrees, and it was noticeably cooler. If you so decide, you will not need to winterize your freight train.

You probably won't have any valves that are too tight on your first service. Do the items that Tim mentioned above, and the Connie will be a great bike for you. Plenty of room to bring a week's worth of stuff for a vacation, but sporty enough to have a lot of fun when you get there. Sport touring bikes are where it's at.

I've stayed there. It's not bad. There is a Mexican Restaurant in walking distance, and there is a liquor store down the road. Beer selection in town is not very good. Enjoy the trip! Speed safely!

My second 10U is working well. I wanted to switch to the 20S when my first 10U failed. After reading these comments on the 20S, I am glad they didn't let me change to the 20S. Sena used to be the best product on the market. If there products keep having issues, somebody else will step up with a better product.

My knee is back to 100%. I haven't been to Hatfield yet. One of my friends that organized the trip has been there. It should be a lot of fun. I do not intend to not get in over my head with any of the really tough trails. Have you ridden it? (If so, any advise?)

Motor oil change, transmission oil change, air filter change, and new rear tire on the CRF. I am now ready for 3 days off riding at Hatfield McCoys next weekend.

Does anyone have any suggestions on getting the suspension sag setup? I am in Pataskala, but I can ride to wherever. I have never setup sag before.

I have been periodically checking that website for nearly a year while researching potential bikes. It seems to be a good resource. My initial thought is to do very little to the bike this year. I want to put on some miles before making too many changes. I can ride the Connie if I need to go long distances. After a thousand miles or two, I will look at the reflash and other modifications. I would like to ride one with a reflash to see if it's worth it.
