I'm interested in picking up an AR15. I started doing research online and am overwhelmed. There are many different models. Looking for a few opinions. Which brands to steer toward and/or to stay away from? From what i can tell, i leaning toward a rifle length nitriding barrel.

Don't usually do it but i pre-registered today for Monday. Didn't want to risk it since it sounded like intermediate was filling up.

Glad all is well. Hope nothing creeps up in the coming weeks. I recently bought a dash cam due to all the idiots on the road. My co-worked was rear-ended by a F150 last month, hit him so hard that he pushed the car in front of him into the next car. Total of 4 cars involved, i think it was found that the driver of the F150 was texting. And the F150 insurance tried to blame my co-worker that he was too close to the car in front of him.

I would think that as long as you get them both teched you would be good to go. It's not like both bikes will be out at the same time. I've seen where two people shared one bike for a day and only had to pay for one person.

I plan to be a walk-on in intermediate Monday. Hope there is still a few spots left. I usually get there at 7 before the crowd, haven't been turned away yet. *knock on wood*

I answered what i could. It's a blast and wish i would have started earlier. But it spoiled me as well and now i don't own a street bike anymore. It took all the fun out of it (since i live in North Olmsted and the closest fun roads is like 2 hours away.)

I think he was referring to Southpark's redefinition of the word.

I'm still waiting to see how they will create autonomous driving in snow states. It's all fine and dandy down south and out west where the roads never get covered. They will have to start embedding stuff into the roads that don't require cameras. Either way, I don't see myself ever getting one. I prefer to drive and hate being a passenger. But i will admit, i can't wait until everyone else starts using them just so they are out of the left lane. It should make motorcycle riding much safer as well.

How i spent my weekend. 34 miles on the Alleghany river. We do this trip every year exploring different parts of the river. Camp on the islands. Except for the major suburn (even applying SPF50 multiple time)s and the 90F+ heat, it was another awesome year! Time to start planning next years trip.

Exactly the reason i sold my street bike and stick to the track now. Too many idiots on the road and no matter what you do, you can not be 100% in control. Not even just people. My friends dad passed about 2 months from hitting a deer while on a bike. I had a few close encounters with cagers throughout my short 4 years of street riding. Glad the injuries were minimal. Heal up quick! And sue the shit out of driver. Do you know if they were on the phone?

When i was running novice at Mid-O, i don't think we ever had a day with less than 30. I think we hit the 40 mark at least once. Either way, the coaches are outstanding! Great looking bike too VF!!!!

Gotta love how two are smug in their pic. Definitely not their first time and probably not their last. Maybe it will carry some jail time though with the child endangerment.

Got a cracked windshield driving down to Mid-Ohio yesterday. Blah....

Did you use a gift cert? I've always been charged the $20 when paying cash/credit. This is the first year they started charging it as well with gift certs. I paid it on the 23rd but not yesterday (both gift certs).

What a perfect day today! There were two red flags in I. One looked like the guy rode straight off turn one into the gravel and was rolling around grabbing his knee. Best wishes to him, hope it's not too serious. Wonder if someone stuffed him going into one and spooked him and sat it up right. The lap timers weren't working correctly most of the day. But the last session worked perfectly and I had a personal best at 1:47.5. AND!!!!! they didn't charge the $20 late fee this time with gift certs.

I'll be there bright and early tomorrow! Looks to be a beautiful day!

Wifes webcam on her Asus laptop no longer works with Windows 10. Downloaded what drivers they had and nothing.

Had a guy get pissed cause i tried to pass him on the right this morning (both in cars so it wasn't a bike thing). He was going 30 in a 35 but probably hit 50+ as i tried to pass him. He made sure i was behind him as it went down to one lane. Continuously gave me the bird and stared at me in his mirrors for several miles until i finally had to turn. He was a special kind of crazy and i didn't give him the satisfaction of tailgating him or giving middle finger. I know he wanted it to escalate.

I went through all of Kyle's photos from Monday and the only ones of me are from behind going over turn 8. I'll need to go through again, hoping i just missed some.

Good luck with the tires! That's going to be an expensive en devour. Kind of surprised they don't just leave them. I hope when they repave, they fix the base as well or it will just do the same thing all over again. Either way i'm excited and hope they pave at the end of the year for next season.

What a perfect day today! $20 late fee on gift certificates on walk-ins as well. Apparently the late fee always applied to the gift certs but the software didn't enforce it so they never did. Someone 'fixed' the software so now they have to charge it. There were 15 pre-registered in intermediate. Ended up with 36 people. Was some traffic but overall pretty good with so many people.

I'll be there bright and early Monday morning! Weather is looking perfect.
