What is your cam mounted to? Double stick tape to the tank or a bracket of some sort? I've been looking for a used gopro or their new cheapy one looks good.

I've used two of my gift certs so far and have had no issue. Yesterday was a blast for me. First time in intermediate; i got the go ahead on the 6/2 day to make the jump. I was slightly hesitant going into the first session but once i got out there, everything fell into place. I would say i was running in the middle of the pack. End of last year i was barely breaking 2:00. Yesterday i ran a 1:50.0 as a best. I could probably have been in the 40's but i caught someone in the carousel. Already planning on making the 7/6 date. Hopefully will have my new plastic on by then. I didn't like how my paint scheme came out so i'm working on round 2. All that's left is to clear the tank and put it on.

Glad you made it out in one piece and alive to tell the tell. If i see someone in the coming lane trying to make a left, I get right up on the bumper of the car in front of me (safely of course). But enough where i would be past by the time the person turning left would be getting on the gas.

I'm in for either PIRC or Mid-O 20-22; whichever day looks to be the nicest. I can't swing both.

I scheduled the day off work but all dependent on the weather. Also if my new trailer tires arrive in time. I'm done with the crap tires from harbor freight.

First time at PIRC for me. I really enjoyed the track and the elevation changes. Had to clean my pants out a few times going into turn 1 though. I liked how they ran the Novice group too; it's more like an advanced beginner group. I felt bad for the new people though. No class room exercises or instructions. They really benefited me starting out at Nelsons. I didn't run a lap timer in the morning but in the afternoon i was running in the 14s consistently and then 13s with two back to back laps in the 12s in the last session. The real excitement came on the drive home when I blew a trailer tire between the PA and OH signs on 76. Glad i didn't forget my spare this time. I plan on going to the July and August weekends. I may hit up the one in June also.

Does N2 take walk-up registration? "Events fill up fast so to ensure your spot we strongly recommend you register in advance. N2 does not overbook events." Sounds like they do from that statement. With that, has anyone personally been turned away cause they were full? I usually don't sign up in advance or maybe the night before. Thanks.

Stupid weather. I got gift certificates burning a hole in my pocket. Looks like i might hit up N2 at Pittsburgh next weekend if it doesn't clear up Monday.

As long as it passes the 10/100 test (looks good 10 feet away going 100mph), then i'm happy with it.

Nice day to paint except for the short impromptu rain showers around 2. Still need to add decals and clear the tank. Hopefully have it finished and put on before the next Mid-O track day. Not too bad for rattle can i think.

What group are you guys riding with at PIRC? I've yet to make it out there and with Motoseries not going this year i need to find another group.

I can't imagine too many people were signed up with a high of 50 and chance of rain.

I did the same thing. Dedicated ground to each light and never had a problem.

Oil change and put water wetter back into the track bike. Battery back in and started up.
