  1. I have a 67 Camaro SS my Dad and I restored when i was in highschool. It's been sitting in their garage for the last decade. Until i move (hopefully in 2017/18) into a place with room to build an additional garage, it will sit there. We showed it heavily from 2002-2007. Biggest achievement was first place at the Summit Racing Camaro car show in the 67-69 Camaro category. But since then it's just been sitting. I haven't drove it in probably 5 years. This spring i plan on selling my street Daytona 675 and pick up a daily driver 280Z to wrench on. I want to put headers/exhaust on it and lower it a little but. Maybe some fender flares and remove the chrome numbers. Or at least black them out. Probably buy some kind of canopy to park it under.
  2. I got a weight set off craigslist for cheap. It has a bench and an adjustable height rack. It goes tall enough for me to do squats and has adjustable height safety bars in case you cant get the weight back up. Cost me $150 and came with 175lbs of weights. I find for me i'm much more likely to exercise at home than drive 20 minutes to a gym. I do the 5x5 stronglift routine and have almost doubled my starting weights (but i did start off pretty light). I can't squat too much though because of my knees so i just do more reps at a lighter weight. But do whatever it will take for you to stick with it. If you need the support of the group, then do it. My wife hates working out at home. She needs the motivation of the group. She splits between cycling and TRX at a local place. It costs $11 a session i think.
  3. I just want to show up and ride. I was a walk-in every time last year into I group. I'm hoping to be able to do that as well this year. I'd hate to show up and get turned away cause they start limiting the group sizes. I was usually between numbers 33 and 38, never in the 40's. Can't wait for spring to get here. Need to put the finishing touches on the new bodywork and put the forks back on.
  4. Meh. Details. Assless chaps just make them sound more piratey
  5. I do the stronglift 5x5. It's a good starter program. Squats, deadlift, bench, overhead press and barbell rows. I know its just an excuse but i don't have time to life 4-5 days a week. Right now i bowl on mondays and leave after work on fridays to go snowboarding for the weekend. And once summer rolls around, usually doing housework and car stuff. But i don't really care about becoming huge, just would like to add some mass.
  6. Good job guys! Keep it up! Where is the trying to gain weight section? I've been doing strength training twice a week and biking once a week since September. I've gained a few pounds and a little bit more muscle but still pretty much stick-boy.
  7. I'd be interested in a NEO meet up; even though i plan on selling the street bike this spring. I can bring corn hole or some of the other items you can't really tow around on a bike. FS: 2007 Daytona 675 if anyone interested. HAHA.
  8. Awesome work! I'll be in the market for powder coating my bike wheels next winter. Don't have the cash this year for it. I'll be sure to hit you up!
  9. It'd cost at least 10x more to buy mid-o than nelsons. I'd like to have some cash left over. Either way we are all still broke and dream continues on.
  10. I'll buy Nelsons and repave it the right way.
  11. Same as most. We have a joint savings and checking account. I keep just enough in the checking to cover a months worth of bills, transfer the rest into the savings. I take care of all the bills but most automatic payment. We discuss all large purchases and i complain every month her credit card balance is too high (jokingly). But we both have good jobs, no kids and live within our means in terms of house and cars. So we often times spend without thinking about it when it comes to dinners, clothes, etc.
  12. I've had no plate for 6 years. Never got pulled over just for it. Once i was hit for speeding by a state boy and i quickly tossed it in the windshield before he walked up. He was more worried about it as a safety hazard than not having it on the front of the car. I was polite and agreed that i was speeding and he gave me a warning for being honest.
  13. i got 4 certs for mid-o and plan on at least 1 day at Pittsburgh. I got 6 days in last year. Hoping for a few more than that this year.
  14. I have this exact watch. Xmas present to myself 1 or 2 years ago. Great watch. Wear it on weekends when dressing up a little bit. It has a nice shine to it.

    Got the Tesla!

It'll have to be some kind of embedded magnet, metal, something for any northern states. Any kind of fully automated car will have to somehow drive in snowy conditions for it to be worthwhile for the majority of the population. I don't see many people buying it as a summer car.
  16. Wish this sale was in March! I have no money! I need to check my boot size when i get home. Pretty sure i'm a 45; wish there was a black vented in that size. Most likely will get the black/white.
  17. I upgraded the tires on mine. Had one of the harbor freight tires blow-out on the highway. I can try to find out from where if you want. But don't hesitate to contact me if you need some help with it.
  18. If you can tow, the harber freight trailer is the cheapest way to go. With the 20% coupon they always have, it's like $220. Then a sheet of plywood and ramp and you are done. I pull 1 bike with my Scion xB no problem. I think almost any car would be able to handle 1 bike.
  19. I used my certificates last year by doing walk up registration. I'm hoping they allow that to continue this year.
  20. https://ev11.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetGroupList?groupCode=MO&linkID=ta-midohio&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode= That's the link when i click on the ad in the email. Just bought 4 and have them printed out already. Is it spring yet.......
