Here is a good thread where a lot of this has been discussed. Most all the things for a regular C5 applies to a C5z. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89383
  3. Oh, well thats cool. This is the first year I've got snow tires, and I can agree with driving most cars in Ohio if you have them. I had much more fun in the blue beater having some grip when I was out playing last night.
  4. What tires are you on? You gave me the impression that it wasn't going to see crappy winter roads, guess I was wrong.
  5. Yes it was a pretty silly statement, kind of a half thought posted while I was at work. I should have said that even though I really don't like Prius' at least they save gas for the cars I do like to drive.
  6. Just a tip if you don't want to buy any tools, put a line on the bolt head and a mark next to the bolt where you want to turn it to. This process works easier and is how I do it. I've used the angle adaptors and they are a PITA, and a good torque wrench with the angle built in are expensive. Otherwise pick up the adaptor.
  7. I would def start by moving plugs, coils, and injectors around to see if the misfire goes to a different cylinder. Other wise since 2 and 3 are next to each other a head gasket is very possible, running a compression test should show those two cylinders low if a head gasket is blown, then a leak down test to verify that is the issue. I suppose you could just run leak down (it takes longer to do then compression) and see if it blows air out of the other spark plug hole.
  8. They can have issues with shift solenoids, but its hard to say until it's looked at.
  9. I might come slide around in the Miata if anyone wants to do that.
  10. I am way better then you guys, I don't why I would bring my awesome Miata to any of your stupid little Cars and Coffees. j/k
  11. I've already made plans with some friends who aren't on CR, but if not I would take you guys up on that. I'm looking forward to checking it out as I've never been.
  12. Planning on heading for detroit early in the morning, so I'll have to miss this
  13. See Wagner what did I tell you? That looks like a cake job, yes you can do that at home if its out of warranty.
  14. It's a little nerve racking the first time, I went through the same situation about 10 years ago. Just stay calm and realize that it will likely take a while. Best advice I can give is to try and not take it very serious, everything pretty much takes care of its self the first few days.
  15. Sounds like an engine mount or something unloading in the suspension, I bet when Rocky reads this he'll know what it is.
  16. Well my wife and daughter are doing fine. My wife is working herself to death and has no spare time, but she has had any issues with her seizures in a few years. My daughter's asthma has been well controlled and she is doing good. Now my extended family is ridiculus, my grand father has full blown alzhiemers and doesn't know who anyone is and I haven't seen him in a few years. My wife's grandfather is on hospice and we expect that to end any day now. My brother, the convicted felon, who has stopped taking anti-psycotics, is a bum mooching off my parents, is back to collecting weapons, drinking 151 like its water, smokes like a freight train, should be locked up, and parents won't do anything about it. Needless to say we don't go to my parents house much. My life is pretty good.
  17. I approve of this statement. Anything to save the gas for real cars.
  18. Typically homes will get a 200 Amp sevice, if memory serves me right a panel has 30-32 spaces. National Electric Code specifies 150 Amp minimum. Depending on overall home size, and location a larger service can be installed, but some fairly large homes do just fine on 200, I've wired 5000sqft homes on 200 which is kind of pushing it, usually getting a sub-panel to make sure everything is seperated out well. Of course its been 6-7 years since I was doing electrical work full-time, but other then the use of arc-fault breakers not a lot has changed in houses.
  19. And between 1492 and 1776 we were either under England's rule or fighting to become our own country. The rest of what became the United States was pretty much the wild west without any real government at all. You made it a point of 800 years to form our consitution, and if you're going to blast your extreme right wing veiws you should expect this kind of response. Now that I've trolled, let me say that I agree with your original post of how in a few years this country has gone so far backwards it is hardly beleivable how our government could be so careless in its quest to line pockets and play mindfuck games with the general public through the various media outlets and bullshit. Hows that for a run-on sentence?
  20. 2012-1776= 800yrs!!!! While I do consider myself fairly right wing, I find it hard to beleive in anything anymore. I really have no idea who I'd vote for.
  21. How about getting people's opinions and why they have them in addition to sifting through all the shit that the media puts out there, because its too easy to find propaganda then facts.
  22. Like? Common I'm probing you guys to see what you've found out, yet everybody always gives me basic non-specific answer.
  23. They're all sleazy politicians, thats no kind of answer.
