  1. Even my wife thought this was funny. We do see eye to eye on somethings, and this is one of those topics. and that birthstone stud looks great in my nipple. I remember that day well, left with a slice of Sabarros, a slushie, and a fiance.
  2. I would think you could find nice ones in the $9-10k range, the sacrifice of not having a fun car until you can save the extra $4-5k would be worth it. Sorry I didn't mean you'd get a LS1 for $5500.
  3. Just sell the thing, if the guy offering you $5500 hasn't changed his mind. Then go find a decent used LS1 car, and make the changes you want over the next few years.
  4. Be noob, own GTR and miss Escort. Bet you could see lots of boobs in GTR, welcome.
  5. So what? My wife picked hers out and then put it on her credit card. You guys are really making me LOL over this topic, who fucking cares? Hey if tradition is important to you, thats cool, if it isn't then hey step on up and judge me I could care less.
  6. Just not important to me or my wife to spend much on wedding rings, I happen to know Gary and thought that was a little much. I knew I was out of line posting that but you can bet I'll have more to say to his face next time I see him. FYI, My wife and I spent about $1k 12 years ago on all 3 rings. Obviously i could care less what anyone thinks so I don't need something on my finger other then to show that I'm married, my ring was $90. My wife didn't want anything special either. So while I realize that someone could spend lots of money on rings, I feel that its very over-rated.
  7. Nah, you can race Wagner or Anthony. I just want the car to cruise in, if I wasn't so centimental I'd sell it.
  8. More like 12s=12s, I'm taking a lot of parts off the Camaro this year. Its retired.
  9. You sir are stupid, I said it just fucking plain old stupid. I hope you are trying to sound cool by exagerating the $2k, that is way too much. I could see $2k if you made closer to 100k a year, but I can't underdstand. FYI, I could have given my wife a plastic ring and she would've married me.
  10. I'm not going for any kind of drive in my wife's shitbox Cobalt.
  11. I got married at 19 so we just picked some rings up at the mall one day. Surprisingly enough they've held up pretty well for being 11.5 years old, didn't spend much, didn't get anything fancy. Andrews Jewlers, if having fancy shit on your hand is your thing I wouldn't recommend this route.
  12. Ban yourself. You want to go for a great MPG race in my ECO friendly Cobalt after we check out the new Cruze and Sonic down at the windmill? :dumb:
  13. I'm not going to argue with you, I like your Audis, but I have more fun with the little turbo car. Camaro>Audi
  14. FUCKING WIN!!! :lolguy::lolguy::lolguy::lolguy::lolguy:
  15. Yes its turbo but only made about as much power stock as the newest Miata, that is until I turn up the wick.
  16. You have a link to that? Where's a MazdaSpeed Miata fall?
  17. If it was RWD I'd have considered it along the Miata, but I can't make the leap to going FWD. Cool little cars though. I just laugh at all the ghey comments, keep in mind I have 2 Miatas and work in a shop with a bunch of guys who don't get it. If I didn't have someone reference my cars as gay my day wouldn't be complete.
  18. Good to hear the zoning had passed for the track to go in.
  19. Ghey, Phil, ghey.......... Greg Face
  20. I have to agree with this, and look at what they are selling to a similar group of people, the Traverse, Acadia, Enclave, Outlook peice of shit. The engines suck, the transmissions have been going bad starting at 40-50k miles, the power steering systems are absolute junk. Multiple recalls and bullitens for the all of the above. Its not like they are easy to much on either, the Trailblazers are easier to fix, most engine issues have to have it removed, and the steering components aren't easily accessable either. These will have horrible resale IMHO because they won't be cheap to fix. I've driven a few over 100k and its a Trailblazer all over again, with more and different issues.
  21. Are they even doing this? They did close early for the year because something was going on. I don't know, but has anyone checked?
  22. Anything that can be had cheap, as in cheap parts, cheap insurance, lots of used parts, or something given to you for free. Anything that is old and actually nice would just fuck you if something should ever happen, insuring it wouldn't be nearly as easy, and you might cry if it was damaged. That is why Mustangs, Camaros, GM G-bodies, any American truck, Miatas, and most things made by the 100s of thousands get my vote. So long as it isn't an american throw away car like a Cavalier or Escort, just pick something you'll like driving, because beboping around in an old pick-up truck isn't for everybody.
