  1. Lou Malnatti's pizza, I'm sure I spelled that wrong. I've spent some time up around Schamburg were the GM training center is. It's a nice area but nothing overly special to do in the northwest suburbs. If you like beer/liquor/wine check out a Benny's beverage depot for a massive selection of alcohol at cheap prices.
  2. The fact that some person who will likely not even read the instructions on the can of refridgerent can buy it, but I have to be licensed to be a professional working at a shop. If someone knew really how that system worked they'd understand how stupid ramming a can of shit in it is.
  3. Sorry man but I gotta agree. Helmets are not expensive. If $100-150 or so for a legal helmet that's certainly on sale or clearance somewhere is too much, then wow.
  4. I haven't used Randy's over there in quite some time so I wasn't quick to recommend it, but I'm glad he's still doing good work. My Dad and I never had any issues.
  5. Yeah it does fine, just lights on the dash. I purposely disable my ABS now that my 97 has big brakes when I autocross. It is such a shitty system it kicks in all the time, I don't think it's capable of keeping up with the much faster stopping.
  6. I am down for tonight. And to think I was going to text you Doc, thanks for posting.
  7. However it sounds like it needs the ABS module replaced most likely, and the 1997-2000 modules are unique and discontinued. Best of luck.
  8. You can bring it to me at Dan Tobin if you wish. PM me if you do.
  9. I just want to say that I think Clay has made the right choices with CC&C thus far, and don't see an issue with his future plans. Loosing Cup O Joe sucks, especially for some lame place I don't anyone interested in, but keeping it there seems like the right move in my opinion. Thanks for getting CC&C rolling and keeping it simple. It's something I hope stays around for a long time.
  10. By pulling a vacuum it not only ensures the system is sealed, but by pulling a vacuum long enough eliminates moisture in the system. I have no idea why your system is dry, but if it's cheap you're going for I really don't know if it was fixed properly. So ramming some cans of freon in it will just keep up the idea of cheap and careless.
  11. That yuppie ass left wing hippie shit is what's going in there? Eww. That's a damn shame.
  12. Seems you and I have different taste in cars. It's not like I hate your pictures, but I know there were Corvettes and Camaros there.
  13. I didn't take any safety course. I just got my temps, did some riding, and went back to do the maneuverability skills test thing. I was told that they have something special for people who buy trikes but I have no experience.
  14. Yes. Anthony is 40 today. Happy Birthday buddy.
  15. I'm going to work. I did get June 16th off though. You're welcomed me to swing by and say hi.
  16. I'm about sick of Trails, don't care who owns it at this point.
  17. I don't want it moved, I don't want to go to work friday and my car is ready. Crossing fingers.
  18. yeah, I guess nobody told them Corvette+turbo=fire
  19. Did they hire old IPS employees?
  20. Well short of bringing it to me at Dan Tobin, I'm not sure of anyone doing them outside of a dealer.
  21. Wish I had the extra cash for that, sounds like a decent deal considering I had that much in buying a broken one and parts. GLWS.
  22. Ok so the car is no longer for sale, I'm closing the thread.
  23. Hmmm, interesting. I'd love to hear that in person, planning on maybe a cars and coffee at some point.
