  1. Gear Heads Customs Lol Seriously though, I don't have a good idea.
  2. My first house was right across Holt, not a bad place, GLWS.
  3. I will always try to come to CR functions because any track will be fun, that said I don't care about 1/8th mile so while I will sign up and go I won't be disappointed if it doesn't happen.
  4. I like the 555 but there has to be other cool roads. 555 can get busy on a nice day.
  5. That's cool, I can keep from running you over in my Corvette. Seriously though I was a shitty rider when I had a bike so I'm better off. Hopefully you wouldn't mind going with cars.
  6. Sounds likes someone needs to figure this out, I'm down to go. I wish I knew that area better or I'd try and set something up.
  7. If by track day you mean quarter mile, NT05R or the Mickey ET Street SS. (Mickey doesn't make the old ET Street anymore) If not drag racing then I stand by my above suggestions.
  8. 275-40-17 is fairly common. Have you considered like a Nitto NT05? Certainly not as sticky but a good tire, or their NT01 (R comp). Personally I could see why you'd go back with the R888
  9. I have used the R888s before and thought they were great until I heat cycled them too many times. The RA1s don't come in many sizes.
  10. 25 huh? Happy Birthday buddy.
  11. This is no reason to take away something like a Christmas skin. Especially when it was likely put up by the head Jew. I thought it was on the silly side, but certainly not offensive, and now I think Anthony should put it back up, or I totally support one for that Jewish holiday I can't spell.
  12. Flex fuel works on those by calculating alcohol content via fuel trims after a fill up. Lots of GM cars were produced in that time frame without sensors. It's a flawed stupid system that is prone to miscalculating and having issues.
  13. As a technician who strives to stay current and up to date I don't worry about my job as people will always need some form of transportation. As an enthusiast though, I wonder about the time frame and extent of progress in my lifetime. For the next generations not modding a car may be more normal, they may not drive themselves at all, but I hope using cars like we have today on the road doesn't go away anytime soon. I fear that self driving cars will gain traction and what we have now will simply become too expensive to insure. I think self driving cars and the desire to modify will go hand in hand, but modifying cars in the future will still be possible it just may take a different approach.
  14. Since that job will likely be face to face with customers I'd say business casual would be the norm. I'm a tech, I only have to be clean for a job, I dress decent but typically wear jeans. The advice at the top of this thread is good.
  15. If it's been fairly well taken care of, ie proper regular oil changes, then just put timing chains in it. The newer parts are supposed to be better, personally I used to think these engines were crap, however proper maintenance is all that is needed on the 2011 and up. Putting the newer chains (it's all GM sells at this point) fixes these.
  16. I think they were able to keep the chemistry of them working together that made Top Gear such a success. I'm very happy with the new show. I was ecstatic that the same humor and and attitude came through. I look forward to the next one. My only complaint is that I don't care for amazon's video service.
  17. Anyone want to come out tonight?
  18. Really like Pandora for the overall quality in it playing what I like and the app works well. I totally fell for the trap, start off free, get sick of commercials, pay small fee, then fee gets bigger, not really worth it now but I'm used to it and it still plays what I like.
  19. For people who work for a living so they can earn what they want out of life the right things happened. I'm just happy that earning your way is coming back into style.
  20. For the record Tuffy stores are franchises. Some are run like chain stores, some are run like Mom and Pops shops. It just compounds the fact that you never know what you get.
