  1. 5 minutes of the debate and I went back to Netflix. The he whole thing is sad and really annoying. I'm simply too right wing to like Hilary at all.
  2. Sounds a lot like worn shocks/struts. Any of those leaking?
  3. Miller Kelton is nicer then most of Detroit. Have you ever been to Dayton? Much closer to Detroit, and still not as bad.
  4. I don't have any really usefull info as I've only visited it a couple times in the last few years, but I look at Detroit like this: Where most cities have their good and bad areas, Detroit just takes everything down. In some areas that is down quite a bit. Burnt out buildings, boarded up places, and just all out disrepair is the very common sights driving through. Much of the city is dead. Drive into the suburbs and there are places similar, and places still kicking and not so bad. In my opinion it would be very hard to know where to go or what to do without living there.
  5. Sorry a certain Trans Am decided to blow it's transmission fluid out, and I helped get it home. Would've liked to have made it up tonight.
  6. People get low and do things they regret later, people who want or need help should be able to find it. Ignoring it and having people die is not an answer. Fighting to get rid of illegal drugs is the only thing that will keep our tax dollars from being wasted on these things. It doesn't matter if you help them or let them die it's not free. Healthy and affordable ways for people to deal with their problems needs to become the norm, but it's easier to find drugs and get high for that quick way to feel better about things. As someone who has done drugs and am an alcoholic I understand why people do this. "Real men bury their problems" "Man up and stop being a pussy" ever heard shit like this? It's the norm for most men in America, now I'm not for the pussification of men, but there are healthy ways to deal with your problems that doesn't involve drugs and alcohol. It's commonly looked down upon and drugs are just easier. The norm needs to change and the crackdown on drugs needs to continue if you want to see less of this happening. Thanks for reading my two cents. Hopefully you all can stay off your high horses and feel some compassion for your fellow man.
  7. If you decide to come see me all Ricart scheduling goes through one department, and since you drive a Saab it would go through the Motor Trend service drive which happens to be the area I work. Telling them that you request me is all you'd have to do. It may be easier for you to e-mail my boss so I'll PM it to you tomarow when I can make sure I have it right.
  8. I can turn them at Ricart, we have multiple on car lathes. You can ask for me and I'll make sure it's done properly.
  9. I would say plugs and a thermostat are resonable mods. Not going to make much difference on a bolt on car, but good insurance if you drive hard. I beleive any car should be warmed up some before driving, not necessarily completely to operating temp but enough to let the temp needle come off of its seat. This is why I always remote start my daily, and I mean as I walk to it, things get a chance to circulate and start to rise in temp. So with these practices a colder thermostat won't hurt anything. Besides all my ramblings above, temp control is all aboit how you're using the car. It's important to remeber that from the factory cars are set up for emissions more then anything else. A colder thermostat simply opens sooner, whether it will actually reduce operating temp will vary a lot depending on cooling system size and use of car. Sure if you're cruizing down the highway on a cool day it should be lower, but in traffic it could be negligible. Part of tuning is to figure out what the engine likes, too many people have this cookie cutter aproach just because other people think they have it all figured out or they're too lazy to try different things. In the end everyone has an opinion, but as yourself if the fastest guys just did what everyone else did? Of course not, so why would it be any different on a smaller scale?
  10. A neck collar will help prevent wiplash, when I raced karts as a teenager they were required safety equipment. Of course that was long before most people had heard of a hans device. Personally I don't wear one, but I usually go to Buckeye Raceway, I suppose GP indoor requires it. Honestly it sounds like you're SOL. To go to one of these places once in a while doesn't make sense to get something custom, and that's what will work given your description.
  11. Yup, surprised you aren't going to Maxton's? I'm just going to QS&L like usual though.
  12. 799 is the same as a 243, and are as good as you'll get for the cathedral intake port. Under $200 is a good deal imho, send them somewhere to be ported and you have about the best you can do with a stock casting.
  13. Craigslist ad said black, hard to tell on my phone I guess. Last time Anthony and I talked about the old car someone took the 12 bolt out. Who knows, looks like foxbody syndrome is setting in on my beloved 4th gen f-bodies. Not as many nive ones as there used to be.
  14. I don't remeber that car, Tina's old car was blue with a 6speed. Trying to remeber a black auto Formula.
  15. Scrolling past this thread I thought it said Lebron is bananas. Anyway, congrats on being different but I think the thread should've been called "Clay is Bananas B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
  16. Watched a fee weeks back, enjoyed it.

    Condo or House?

8 hours huh? I spent just over an hour cleaning up my yard, what do you have 5 acres to mow or something?

    Condo or House?

The big points that come to my mind are that a condo will be much easier taking care of when you aren't home for a large part of the year, but a house typically has better privacy and resale value. Condos used to be hard to sell, they seem to have gotten more popular and not as big of a deal but I'm still unsure about how easy it would be to sell when that time comes. If I could find a way to make a house work I would, although condos are a very good option for someone in your position.
  19. Had a very similar experience, great guys and a CCW class put on the way it should be, to teach people some fundamentals instead of running a big group through for money. Really glad my wife and I took it.
  20. Car was owned by some other people. In all seriousness, most places aren't going to have much, the GM website that all the dealers have access to doesn't have much of anything before about 2000. If it's out there it'll take some digging. I assume the RPO sticker on the car is gone?
  21. Luckily if I need something that I can't wait for working in a shop has always saved me from the dumbass questions. Still it's cheaper and simpler to use Rockauto most of the time. Never fails though on the occasion I have to swing into a parts store I'm wearing my work clothes and some cheap ass wants free tech advice. I've learned to inform people that the detail guys wear the same uniforms and I just wash cars.
  22. I'm just building a wall, .........around my house and declaring that a free state of Cordell. Illegal immigrants to the free state of Cordell will be shot and thrown back over the wall.
  23. Have you logged the airflow trims? I might try adding some desired airflow or checking into your injector offset if you can't find anything "physically" wrong.
  24. Aside from having one as my first car. I have no interest, I almost killed myself a couple times in one, part of why I hate small cars. My Dad thinks they are hilarious, and for that I think he's stupid in regards to them. :dumb:
