  1. You may want to talk to the guys at KAR https://www.karmustang.com/home.php , they have helped my Dad out a good bit on his 68 Mustang.
  2. Well that make sense, sucks to learn your lessons that way.
  3. I'll take it Joe, PMing number.
  4. Cordell

Its the sawmill hangout page, supposedly closed group but I got right in.

    sawmill ????

Yes it's all over the FB page with video, I've made up my mind to stay away and find alternative ways to enjoy my Saturday night.
  6. Bet he leaves and says how much we suck, because he just doesn't know how this place works, sad really.
  7. This is a car community, why don't you try the yellow pages.
  8. So how is this autocross supposed to work? I thought I had heard last year it was ride alongs, and if I can't drive I'm not even going to consider going.
  9. Seems to me we had NAPA do some, you may call them and ask.
  10. Moved to pics and vids, looking forward to seeing some pics, I really want to go out there sometime soon.
  11. I have 2 complete rear ends aside from the one in my car, the one needing new bearings, so I'm game to pull it apart if you want it.
  12. I saw it, loved it. If you like Avengers, Iron Man, the first Captain America, and or the Agents of Sheild tv show, you'll love this movie.
  13. For shear cool factor wait a year and get the Lambo. A 2 door CTS-V would be awesome as well, everyone knows I'm partial to GM vehicles especially since parts are easy to come by. I don't get the Porsche thing, and GTRs are cool but Jones has one, do you really want it now?
  14. Well, Country music never gets played on my radio so I don't have to change it, but beleive me that is only eclipsed by bible thumper music. As for music that gets played on channels I listen to, Nickelback, Creed, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Styx, or any crap that got the shit played out of it. I have always liked Metalica, and Ozzy, but I've heard their music way too much, same goes for Tool, blah. I enjoy my Darude channel on Pandora, and Ke$ha, and Limp Bizkit, and some other embarassing stuff, lol.
  15. To my understanding a 5th gen has a metric bolt battern of 5x120, so technically Vette wheels and the like with a 5x4.75 (5x120.65) may not just slide on like they are supposed to. If it were me I'd be looking into that. I doubt anything you find is going to be very cheap.
  16. Well Benner works there now so that's another good reason to avoid, not to mention it's Dave Gill's brother who owns Chesrown. Aren't many dealers I take anything to unless you know someone there.
  17. So call Cleveland Pick a Part, or Hawks 3rd Gen, if all else fails they'll have the stuff.
  18. The short arm attaches to the body and transfers more noise. The longer arm is better for all around use. The reason for the shorter one is to effectivly change the instant center for launching the car at the track, it wouldn't be my first choice for a street car. There are some decent write ups on LS1 tech about it by people much more experienced then me.
  19. I'm willing to bet on an early 90s Cavalier 14x6 wheel in a 5x100 bolt pattern. Have Derek check it to be sure.
  20. I have a BMR trans mounted torque arm with a torque arm relocation transmission crossmember. The BMR torque arm works great on a stock rear end, but it didn't fit worth a shit on the Moser 9" I had. If you look closely at teh mounting bracket at the rear end you'll see some subtle differences, UMI and Spohn are designed to fit the aftermarket rear ends better. The other UMI components I have are really high quality and will be buying their torque arm when I get another rear.
  21. Paul has a front strap for sale too, whatever he wants for it, its still laying in my garage.
  22. Sounds like I didn't miss out on much, I must be getting old because I don't like being around that kind of idiocy anymore.
  23. I'm a tech at Lash Chevrolet in Johnstown, they won't like me doing stuff without a work order so if you want to run it through the dealer I'll make sure they're fair with you. They shouldn't mind me testing the cluster though, it only takes a couple minutes.
