  3. Don't worry, you will get plenty of chances, Whaler goes into full on two wheeled hysteria in March!
  4. I like the naked and blacked out motor/frame, I don't like the little round headlight. Throw on a square headlight, small painted to match fairing, and it will look like your old Nighthawk S!
  5. I was going to make this same statement about the county political affiliation, but rescinded because Medina is a conservative county and that doesn't make sense.
  6. They have too much invested in all the testing facilities and mobile testing vehicles . Shutting it all down would admit it didn't work to begin with. I guess the typical political thing to do is keep throwing tax dollars at it under the guise that it helps the environment.

  8. Welcome to the OR Community! I am just west of Akron in Medina. Take a look at the Epic Ride thread for this spring, its a fun ride and a great way to meet some of the OR peeps.
  9. So, I received a letter from E-check stating I passed my test for our Pathfinder. The funny thing was I didn't take it to get tested. As I read further I was told my vehicle was scanned on several occasions and the emissions were within tolerable limits. I have never heard of an E-Check remote scan test, a few weeks later my registration came in the mail and it showed I passed the test. So, I did some digging and found that Ohio has been doing these tests since 2012. Apparently they have mobile units that travel all over, park at an entrance ramp on a major highway and scan every vehicle that goes by. I would really like to see how all that info is calculated as people are driving by at 65 mph. I don't know if I like this or not. Any time a government agency is scanning me without my knowledge, I get a little uneasy. http://www.ohioecheck.info/rapidscreen
  10. Don't worry about that, Derek will always find a wiener to put in his mouth! I swear he would eat hot dogs all day if he could, lol.
  11. This looks much larger than the first boat ramp I found. My vote is for here, there is a shit ton of space, trailer friendly and just outside of town with a gas stop. Plus we got some shaded areas to set up for the grill master after the ride.
  12. What about here (see pic), right down the street from the pull off spot across from the gas station. Its a little roomier and it looks like trailering folk would be fine as it is a boat ramp. The only factor would be how many people decided to put a boat in on the same day we meet for the ride. Other than this, I have looked all over the McConnelsville area and the only other spot large enough would be the public basketball courts on the other side of the river right off of 669. The draw back is there is no shade and its a flat gravel lot.
  13. About time someone in the mainstream media actually makes sense!
  14. +1 For Delkevic. I have a carbon fiber slip-on on my FZ1. It is solid and sounds great, haven't had any issues. I ran a standard stainless Delkevic slip-on on my previous FZ1 for many seasons without any issues or the need to repack. For the money you can't go wrong.
  15. So Derek, with a top speed of 40mph we all will get about 30 sec of video riding up 83 before we are out of range, lol. Still, its a very cool product that is every changing, amazing the amount of technology in such a small footprint. I wonder if a track would allow you to record a session from above, that would be cool as hell.

  19. Our company doesn't have a policy on CCW and the owner said he doesn't mind if we carry at work or in the company car, but to use discretion. If I go to a customer site which includes schools and colleges, I have always locked it in the car. At the office it is on my person or in my backpack under my desk for easy access. I was unaware that leaving your gun in a car on school property was illegal. Our instructor told us that it is legal to have your weapon on your person while on school property as long as you don't exit the vehicle, like if you were picking up your kid. Well at least the new law will make it official. As far as a bar goes, you better be drinking water because if you are caught with a drink and a CCW you are done!
