Our Lake Cumberland SP trip got cut short last fall due to weather but it's on our list for a fall/autumn trip to Land between the Lakes on the west side of state. We have staid at Natural Bridge, Pine Mountain, Breaks and Cumberland Falls and have not had a bad experience. I like ending a long motorcycle day ride having a restaurant/lounge bar and outside seating near a room with A/C and a shower for a great price. You are so right about the hospitality.

Took off Thursday and set up base at Jenny Wiley SP Lodge near Prestonsburg, KY. Fri.& Sat did back road twisty both day's and returned today Sunday with a few rain showers on the return trip. So many great roads in Kentucky and the State Park lodges make for great operating bases. 820 miles total.

Rain check. I have been down in Kentucky hitting twisty assfault back roads since Thru. Chowed down on pizza at Miguel's outside of Slade. Home tomorrow. Have fun!

I just put new street skins on my Strom last week. A Appalachian back road asphalt burn could be just what the doctor ordered. Great Suggestion.

Road yesterday with the Commander. Today, Annual service on the bug out generators. The V-Strom Brake/Clutch Fluids replaced. R/Pads also. Tires in progress, Can't make up my mind(B.Stones 90/10's) (Metzlar 80/10)(Mitas 50/50) Hate it when this happens.

Now that I haven't aged well and need frequent urination stops I free-ball/commando on my bicycle so I just stop place my member leg down and know one can tell the difference. unless of course I am in city traffic and you are in behind me.

I hope to see you on more ADV rides Jason, Who came along on our ride is on the FB team. He and I have done some riding in past years in OH & IN. He just had a FB ride in Hocking Hills on 05/02/20: We left right at 10 after the organizer man conducted his opening ceremonies. We were getting our gear on and sitting on the bikes ready to hit the start button. We had to get away from the pack and get out front. I made sure I power slid around the gravel corners to help direct you and your friend. I hope the tracks helped. We completed the route by 13:30 with a few old man pee stops and a 15min snack stop on the route. Thanks for the great route and we will try again soon. We turned around at power plant and Infirmary road. No need to go into McArthur. Also SFDemo broke off to head home.

Great Time was had. saw some OR street-bikes at the Marathon in McConnelsville. 220 miles for me. more street than dirt this time.

This will be more pavement than I normally select. Save your exsf for my dirty rides around wayne . this will be a bike bike cruise if I remember it, it's been awile.
