  1. Change of plans; Outdoor Activity Adventure March 26 Thursday IAW OH. State Wuhan ltr. I will be traveling on back road gravel avoiding towns, villages and all human gathering areas. I will only emerge from the outback to refuel my vehicle that I use only for transportation to my outdoor activity that will consist of photography, forest observation and communing with nature....at sp__d. I will pack my own lunch to be enjoyed in the outdoors with the animals. My Protective gear will consist of all-weather suite with gloves and over the ankle boots. I will have a protective headgear with a face shield/mouth guard. I will maintain a minimum 6ft distance to all humans. I will start my Outdoor Adventure from Bremen, Ohio at the (One Stop Crossing gas station at Hwy. 664/37. 10AM! Transportation side stands up at 10:15ish. ADV-ers welcome Pauly, this is a good beginner friendly ride. Route: Bremen-Corning 155/13—Chesterhill 555—(decision) 1. Loop around Wayne National Forrest (Monday creek) 2. South to Coolville-Rtn. to the North on new route to Musky-Bremen 3. North to Stockport-Musky-Blue Rock SP.-Bremen. 4. North on TOT#04
  2. Here is much of the route that we will be riding for your reference. https://youtu.be/aHpA_Kstt2A
  3. Normally, I would say yes, 90/10 tire doable when dry but with all of this rain we have been having and the increased 4wd vehicle traffic rutting up the two track roads it may be somewhat difficult in some dirtier sections. I have not been out on the back-roads yet this year so could be some winter wash outs also. As soon as this weather dry's up I am happy to post up some ride's that you will be able to enjoy and build on your ADV style. The Trans Ohio Trail route is very big bike beginner friendly and the section above I70 are in areas that you have most likely blasted thru on the street. Also June 7th. check this ADV ride out: http://hockingvalleymc.com/ Great way to find routes and build on skills.Your high level of Street Skills will transfer with a few tweaks and you will be enjoying even more back roads in the great mid west Motorcycle area. Stay Tune my friend. https://advrider.com/f/threads/the-un-official-trans-ohio-trail-tot-thread.1432028/
  4. Might try to do a mid day ADV loop around the area on this Tue or Wed. looks warm with slight chance of rain. Will stay east of SR33 due to flooding. one stop crossing at 664/37 Bremen, OH is a good start with fuel. 120-150 mile, mixed gravel, Chip/seal, asphalt. Big Bike friendly. Must get out and ride before the GOV orders us to stay home or else!!!
  5. Wife and I are Sheltering in place. ☹️
  6. My first set of Modifications to my Z1K was Ivan ECU reflash and two sets of maps for my PC.V. one for all out power and my old man midrange setting that I use.

  8. Today was a full day of preparation for riding parts of the (SCAR) South Carolina Adventure Route next week and March Moto Madness at the end of the month.
  9. I am all set up for Tellico Plains, TN. March Moto Madness 26-29th. I will be roosting gravel /mud and splashing water crossings for the most part but will report on the curvy asphalt connectors that are so popular with the asphalt crew.😃

    MORGA

Jim's MORGAY Since moving here in 2011 I have enjoyed the Epic fast rides and some spirited pace rides posted by OR members. They have been super fun and executed safely. I am not on FB so I hope this forum will remain a place to join in on spirited rides. I will always show up for Jim's donuts and shenanigans. P.S. I do have a Sena and I can shoot from a Motorcycle.😜

Great shape. Just south of Chesterhill (555/676) 676 east to Watertown: Great shape. 144 out of Hockingport/Coolville northbound is great up to Stewart then 329 to Amesville: Great shape. 377 McConnelsville south to Amesville: Great Shape. Route 550 great shape.
  14. It's been two years but I could do another 3 day SM500 this year. If there is any ADV types are interested. Could attache it to the Deals Gap thing, or not. Autumn weather is nice down south. https://youtu.be/sfxI4PRIo5o https://youtu.be/dpS6wnnaSJ8

    Ride 2/23

    I like to do Both
  16. Yes I am pretty sure this is a direct bolt up to a floor mount. I would call and check first. when using this hitch mount style changer you are facing the rear of the truck pulling the tire bar from the 2 o-clock pos. to the 6 o-clock pos. there is the frame blocking the bar from hitting the tail gate. I do not want to bolt anything down on my concrete floor of my garage so this works fine. Video My Set up.
  17. Pauly, Give me a shout out if you want to ride some ADV stuff with someone down below I70 in Ohio/KY/WV/Va I prefer the gravel a day after a rain day, keeps the dust down and provides more feedback in the front end, IMHO Also learning to ride gravel and two track with a (90/10 ) Tire like your Ank3's will get you use to the bike moving around under you and you will understand that momentum is your close friend. Then again you have all the electric rider aides on that bad boy so get your KLIM power ranger gear, Ride standing the fuck up and learn the BMW stare.😉 PS You will lose big time BMW/KTM Points if seen riding with Suzuki V-Strom bikes. Good Luck, B.
  18. I am most likely backing off this year but I have said that before. I have enjoyed the changer with 3 bikes and my wife's Spyder. Haven't met many local riders in Hocking Hills area since moving here in 2011. Many come down to ride from the north. The Adventures bike gets changed most often going from Bridgestone90/10's to Mitas E-07 50/50's and Mitas E-09 20/80 and E-10 30/70's depending the location of the next multi day adventure. I have a e-10 on the front and a e-09 rear awaiting a spring "March Moto Madness or a 3 day route I have here in KY/VA/WV Tire changer and maintenance lift platform are the greatest for thou's that maintain there own bikes.
  19. Sounds like more big bike Adventure Riders in the house now. A few more and we might get a thread back for ride planning/sharing. 2020 should be a great year for dirty activity. I hope.
  20. Not sure I understand Upgrade. I have included all extra accessories that I purchased. I no longer have a need for this. I am officially old, retired and lazy.
  21. Yesterday was a great day for a little outside yard work around the house.
  22. The Monongahela NF and the G.W./Jefferson NF areas of WV have some GREAT Big Bike ADV off road-ish style routes that have easy exit access to Hotel/Food/Beer/Shower/Rest/Beer. Also great asphalt twisties.
  23. 02/03/2020 Great First of the new year ride over to Belpre, OH. for lunch at the "Coffee Cup" Restaurant. Great food. The route from the Hock was 93 to New Straitsville, 216 - Murry City, 78-Glouster, -329- Amesville, Coolville, Hockingport, 124 to Belpre. Great Road conditions. RETURN: T89N to Veto Road. west to 555N to Ringgold and 78 back to Hocking Hills. 150miles that felt like a all day 300 mile ride. Dam. the wife was with me on her Spyder so I was behaving for the most part.

    Dragon Watch

For all the old school boomers that still like to wear a wrist watch during dress-up. My dear wife had this watch crafted by Celeste Watch Company for me as a birthday gift. The photo is from my last Nov. run down the Dragon.
  25. Still for sale. Start the new year off right.
