I can do Fri or Sat at the New Concord meet. Also Jim, I miss riding with you Get well soon.
  2. Hay Mud Bone, you can use my trailer.
  3. Ok, It looks like I will be working in Marietta Sat 24/Sun 25. I should do the MSTA on Tue/Wed/Thru/Fri. Now what bike? I should have my 50/50 tires about gone by then on the V and have a set of 90/10 Bridgestone’s that can handle the asphalt Twisty and Gravel rides. Since the ADV stuff looks very mellow gravel and most ADV group rides are slow as fuck and could be a dusty parade of riders in Power Ranger Suits doing the “Wehrmacht” Riding style march at 35-40mph. Then again there might be a group of lawless KTM riders going mad and that would be fun. May need 50/50 tires and bring two bikes. The Z is fun on the twisty stuff that we all ride over in the SE but that HBHD Tech PT1 ride would be better on the V with the added suspension for the back road downhill air time. I will ponder this dilemma and try to decide soon. Wife and I just eat dinner at “DaVinci’s. It’s just over the bridge at 215 Highland Ave, Williamstown, WV 26187. Great Food.
  4. Me likely this stuff also. Fasty Fun.😀
  5. Welcome, from Hocking Hills. Be sure to check out Wailine Wayne Weekend 2019 Sept 5-8 New Straitsville, OH. Not much ADV activity here on this site. It seems to becoming more of a Big Rig touring bike stuffed animal flair event patch vest wearing how many miles did you ride today site. Still good folks and good information here.😁
  6. Pataskala, Also under his name, above the name of the bike he rides. Get out from under that truck in the garage and sit down at the computer. WTF, trying to get your post count up?

Your left foot is pointed outward. Just saying.🐄
  15. I am in the early stages of planning another KAT loop in the fall. The record rain fall last year has changed much of the route. Some big washouts have uncovered some rocks.

    2019 Gap Trip.

Should read, Two Up ASS Packing on the Grom. I had know idea this is what you meant when you said that you wanted to expand your riding experience and try new things.
  17. You can rent the nikens down at the gap. There were two at Iron Horse Lodge for rent in May.

  22. Just returned from the Gap. I got a fast Thursday 110 mile solo balls out ride on a dragon loop route after arriving at Iron Horse around noon. Friday spent the 203 mile day with the wife on back exploring back road conditions, including light gravel. I spent all 220 mile day Saturday alone blasting forest service roads at elevation and down at creek level with a few asphalt ribbons connecting the dirty stuff. All is well in the area. 533 Miles Total. I give it a 4 star weekend only because I could not find another rider to do dirt with me. then again, I do ride faster when alone. 😎 Tires: Mitas E07 Dakars 2019 Dragon Front 1 (1) by 2019 Dragon Front 1 (2) by Stromtroopers 2019 1 by Stromtroopers 2019 2 by B
  23. I randomly had a great ride today. After arriving at Iron Horse around noon and unloadeding the Strom. My wife unpacked and set up the room while I jumped on the bike and did a quick run down 28 to the 129 store, jumped on the dragon and did a down and back. Then ran back on 129 to 143 to Iron horse. A very exciting 80 miles. Little traffic and I scrubbed in a new rear Mitas 50/50. Tried to get it done before the dragon but had two big rear power slides on exit that made me reminisce the old superbikes day's. 75degs, what a way jam.
