  1. What area will you all be riding? I may pass thru some of the trails. I will be on the look out. Should be a great day.
  2. Way to far out for me to commit. But I would enjoy a weekend with both bikes down at the gap.
  3. Yes, I agree. The Rocks, Sand, Rut's and water are all HARD out in the western world. Brian WR450

  7. Ride Report: Great ride down to New River Gorge on Sunday for a overnight stay at the Hawks Nest SP Lodge, WVa. with a return on Monday. Weather was a little cold in the morning start with the time change. We met inmate Shrey on 33 south and road together after meeting again in Spencer, WVa. hitting route 36 and 16 south. Shrey checked out at Wallback on I77 and we staied on 16 down to Gauley Bridge. After hitting the local roads we made it to the lodge. Next morning went under the bridge and ran back roads home foe a great Fall trip to WVa. 640 miles of back roads with some nice colors and sites. 100_0014 by 100_0016 by 100_0022 by
  8. Jacob, If you have a ADV bike by the we could do a day of dirty stuff down there. Here is just some of the ADV routes just south of the Dragon. Can someone please buy Jacobs Ducati soon.
  9. Yes, All great roads. Just wanted to check and see if any $end -of-the-Year$ road projects have temporary traffic control and crap spread all over them. Great over night trip. thanks.
  10. I am heading down to New River Gorge, WV. Any updates on road conditions for WV36 out of Spencer to 16S to Gauley Bridge ?? Thanks in advance.

  12. Returned from a 6 day ride with the wife to western KY/TN loop of back road areas. Great riding, cool morning starts, not much fall colors. Got home recovered bikes and gear. Slapped a new tire on the V-Strom and am ready to go again. KY1 by KY4 by KY5 by KY7 by
  13. I moved here from Mesa & Scottsdale and would not move back. You have great riding all over southern Ohio with KY. & Wv just a tank of gas away. Wayne NF (Monday Creek Trail) is close and the main corridor is big bike friendly when dry. New Straitsville trail head is a good start point plus you can get a pass at the camp ground. Also Sycamore trail head will get you into the more advance trails faster. The ORV season ends 15 DEC. Also we have a lot of great public road ADV routes around the area. ADV Rider as was mentioned has more info for your needs. Should be some trail riding video's of the area on my tube. also would be happy to get you some GPX routes also. Come ride with us sometime. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsBAaDfZkbxULiV3c5MohnA/playlists?view_as=subscriber https://www.fs.usda.gov/main/wayne/passes-permits/recreation https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fseprd546375.pdf
  14. I think that's why Suzuki was giving them away with the new purchase of the 2014 V-Strom. The flat rack that replaces the rear seat is a $$$Hepco-Becker$$$ pice that works great with soft tail bag or dry bag.
  15. I agree Tim. Sometimes our needs must be met. I got this box free when I purchased my 2014 V-Strom. I have only use it for trips to the shooting range but it's a nice item to have on hand.
  16. Saturday. Max Power joined me and two others for an ADV ride from our breakfast spot at the old town diner in Laurelville to the Ohio river in Proctorville, OH. and then back north to Jackson where we split to go home. Great weather with cooler temp's and very little dust. I turned 270miles with 7 hours of move time on all sorts of road surfaces. Short 8min Video of the road conditions.
  17. The Weather this week looks wet wet wet. BUT SATURDAY! the 29th. Looks like a great day for a ADV Ride. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. The gravel will be moist and tractable. Anyone interested? or have something they want to try out. 1. Suggestion: Breakfast Laurelville (old town diner) TOT Section #8 Laurelville south to Oakhill, if time permits continue section #9 to Proctorville and return Section #10 north to Athens SR50-Home. Option: At Oakhill checkpoint 8/9 go direct east and take #10 to Athens. This will cut some time off. I have not ridden section 9 or 10.
  18. Mid-Week ADV Ride 9am-2pm 180miles. ADV Route: Bremen - Corning - Chesterhill - Stockport - Musky Bucket - Blue Rock - Corning - Bremen Made it home before the high temps hit. It was good to be back on the V-Strom in the gravel and dirt. Ride#6 by Ride#5 by Ride#3 by
  19. Had a great ride down to the river to see Moth Man. My first time was in 2011 when we moved here to Ohio. Man, People are getting weirder or I am just a old fart. Some of the costumes and outfit are wild. 691S out of Nelsonville connected to 356 at the 56 intersection and a new one for me was 143S all the way to 7 at the river. 143 has new clean asphalt and flows fast. 81deg warm at the festival was to much so made a walk thru and road curves home. 210 miles for the day. Load out Moth man 2018

  21. I will send you a photo of the block. Very simple design. Bolt holes have to be the right size. Jacob hawk can make a set.
  22. Yes they were from that shit company. Order Date: Sat, Apr 26, 2014 1 | KZ1-LFPGBLKS-BLK | Lowering Foot Pegs Blocks | $47.00 | $47.00 Color: Black (black anodized) Model Year: 2013 Model The blocks were designed for a Ninja that has a smaller mount bolt. I had to drill oversize to fit the block on the bike. So I wrote them a nasty response. They must have check and found I was right. I received your lowering kit, Did not fit "out of the box" had to drill oversize the peg mount and Peg's and instl. bushing. junk! just another American half ass company with sub- standard Quality Control measures in place. please take my $67.75 and hire someone that can do the job right. Or make household decorations. Leave motorsports and stay away from Aviation. re: Our lowering foot peg blocks do fit. Instead of getting upset and using foul language, I'd recommend following our online installation instructions and contacting us beforehand, if you did not understand how to install the lowering blocks. We would have gladly assisted you and you would be a happy customer now. Obviously, you tried to jam them in, whereas the blocks install from the side, as the sticker on the packaging warned. We have many customers who have them installed correctly on their Z1000. You are the only one who had a problem. It really is a shame that you resort to blaming others for not understanding how to install things.
