  1. Yeah we went to Iron Pony Sunday and saw the red one. My buddy didn't want red or black.
  2. I just got my Rev'it Airwave. It flows a ton of air and is super comfy.
  3. He did all the work himself, just ordered a 95 inch kit, heads, cam, cam plate, & oil pump. This harleys are actually pretty simple to work on
  4. From what I am told, no. The bike has a big bore kit, heads, agressive cam, open exhaust, and open air cleaner. I do not have the bike in my garage, I just offered to install some tunes for the guy. Go thing is he has a second power commander that is not an EX model, but I have to go to his place with the laptop (Older non-usb PCIII). IMO, I would have taken the bike to get dyno tuned with the amount of changes made. It's hard to find tunes with this many variables.
  5. No, they said in that rpm range that is grayed out, it uses the stock ecm tune.
  6. So I talked to Power Commander, and since this is an EX model power commander, which is California legal, you cannot adjust anything in that rpm range.
  7. 99-01 Harley Touring. All the tunes on Power Commander's website have values for the greyed out region, but it changes them when sent.
  8. The map is for PCIII, so I am not 100% sure. I am gonna call Power Commander in the morning, I have read of some others saying it may be a defective PC.
  9. I know my old F4i would not start or run if the battery was low.
  10. Ok guys, I think I am stumped on this Power Commander. I have uploaded and downloaded many tunes with several different power commanders, but this one is throwing me a curve. First of all, this is a Power Commander 3 USB. I downloaded the correct map from their website, and when I went to send the map, I am prompted with an error messages stating my throttle columns do not match the columns on the PC and it wants to know if I want it to adjust the columns. If I hit no, the map does not send. If I hit yes, the map is sent be modified alot and it grays out the fuel at lower rpms. This is causing the bike not to idle. Below are some screen captures of what I am trying to explain. If any can explain what is causing this, or how I can fix it, I would greatly appreciate it. BEFORE SEND AFTER SEND
  11. We ended up finding this one at Xtreme of Cambridge. Super nice guys, but they forgot to put the temp tag on....So it's in the mail.
  12. Lol I think this is a bike that is more than a one or two season bike. It feels like it has the power to cruise at speed with no problem. I only took it to 40mph but it seems geared high.

    Yamaha R3

Hey guys, a buddy of mine just bought his first motorcycle, a 2015 Yamaha R3. We were in a parking lot by his house to get some practice (He has his MSF course scheduled) and i took it for a quick spin. Wow, I was surprised by how nice the bike rode and it had good power. I know it was difficult to even find one, so he better take care of it. Here's a pic of the little machine.
  14. Here is a little video I threw together of showing off the road quality of 555 below 550, and 676 from 555 to 339. Video was shot with a Hero 3+ Silver and the music was mixed by a friend of mine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGSVq4HZNSo
  15. My Held gloves got a small tear in them. 2 year hassle free warranty and their getting fixed right now.
  16. I remember when I first looked for my first bike. I was ready to buy a brand new supersport. I called my insurance company and they wanted some ungodly amount of money. They said a rider under the age of 24 on a supersport has a 70% chance of totaling the bike in the first 6 months. Also i see people who own cruisers with with 1200 miles after 6 years of "Riding", so there's alot less chance of crashing if it's in the garage. It's as broad as it is long. Bikes crash, we just have to prepare/protect ourselves for the worst.
  17. Anything that makes the bike/rider stick out more helps, but your never going to be 100% safe. I was in a bright orange lowered truck with HIDS and a car still turned in front of me and totaled the truck. Lady said she didn't see me. People must first look before they can see.
  18. I rode my FJR to Deals Gap on a trip. I think it works great. Room for gear, but still has handling and speed. You can find them fairly easily.
  19. Hey guys, I have started some Teespring Campaigns for some motorcycle shirts. I am mainly making FJR shirts, but I am also making so other designs down the road. Please let me know if you guys have a shirt idea, I can make something. Here is a link to my storefront if anyone is interested. http://teespring.com/stores/justins-shirt-shop
  20. A Concord Shadow Moped. My grandfather bought one of these new for my dad, and he rode it in high school to go fishing. When I was 12, I started riding it around the yard. Last time I checked it had around 1200 miles on it.

    Daytona 675

Nice lookin bike! That color looks really cool. I bet it changes a good bit depending on the light.
  22. I had my SMH10 on my Shoei Qwest with the wired mic and it worked amazing. When people would call me, they didn't even know I was on the bike. Now, I have upgraded to a Shoei Neotec, and switched to the boom mic. It took some getting used to, since I always run with a chin curtain, but some trial and error and now it works great. If you're using a full face though, wired mic is a way better setup IMO.
  23. Not really, this has been my first summer of riding on that side of 77 very much. I used to ride 555, 550 towards Athens and back to my house on my way home from work. Now I have added some length to my evening routes since I got my FJR. 50 mile loops after work are now turning into 100-150 mile loops. Its great to work 5 days a week and still get 600-1000 miles in a week. This would have been my second consecutive 600 mile weekend, but I got sunburnt really bad Friday and had to take it easy.
  24. Yes, I rode 145 south to 565, then 260 to 26 and back to Marietta. 145,565,260,26 are some of my go to roads for an after work evening ride.
  25. Rode 78 out of Woodsfield over to 145. That short bit was perfectly clear. I would say stay clear of 800. It has been ground up and under construction.
