  1. The gun isnt that uncomfortable, I meant its not a plinking gun. I agree with the Keltec quality is sub-par. I sold my PF9 and switched to a Bodyguard 380.
  2. I had a PF9, I shot roughly 1000 rounds through it in 1-2 years. Definitely a long trigger pull to be accurate with. It's rough on the hands after about 50-100 rounds in one session, but carry guns don't need to be comfortable. I'd say just shoot a couple more boxes through it and you will get feel for the trigger.
  3. My boss has been in the best mood I've ever seen him, probably because he put his 2 weeks notice in....
  4. Wow, that sucks man. Hope your healing up fast and will be back on two wheels soon.
  5. Well, I have hit my first issue with the 10U. While riding to work today, my unit just shut off. I charged it and nothing. I can't get any response. So, I took the unit back out of the helmet and tried some troubleshooting, and still nothing. Sent my email to Sena to see about a replacement.
  6. I know people like Bridgestones, but I have never had a good Bridgestone tire.
  7. From what I am told, the stock stones are different from the aftermarket ones, but they were BT-023s. This is my 3rd set of Angel GTs, 1st set on the FJR, and I really like them. Might try the PR4s next. Running DynaBeads and the wear good. I might be doing a suspension upgrade this winter that might help tire wear.
  8. Heck I barely got 4k out of the stock Bridgestones on my FJR. Never cupped, but it was blistering. Angel GTs are looking alot better.
  9. That wouldn't fly with me. You don't touch a man's bike unless given permission.
  10. Yeah I agree. It kinda has a cruiser seating position almost. I definitely dont have to worry about that on the FJR. Yamaha's engineers and test riders must all be over 6 foot, cause its a stretch for me.
  11. My weather forecast says at 11am its only 29%. Might get rained on on the way there...
  12. #2 of group rides, bring a rain suit just in case
  13. A couple handfuls of thumbtacks dropped in the spot will probably end it.
  14. I sat on a F6B at Iron Pony. Surprisingly a low seat height. IIRC the early models didnt have Cruise Control.
  15. I was out roofing our garage all day and forgot to draft. I think auto draft did a darn good job for me though.
  16. They look better than the tires from MotoGP this weekend.
  17. Looks like my schedule is going to be free. Put me down for Medium Group.
  18. Michelin has the contract for Motogp in 2016 IIRC
  19. I usually end up laying in bed going over a checklist of stuff I need for the ride. Nothing is more irritating than fogetting stuff you will need.
  20. I ran a mirror lense and a pnlock tinted lense on my Shoei Qwest. I could ride at night with them, but it was enjoyable. Tunnels on BRP were an issue for me. Couldnt open the shield due to messing with my contacts (Thankful for Lasik now). Now with my Shoei Neotec, I love the drop down sun visor with a clear pinlock main lense. It works great and comes down plenty far enough.
  21. Oh i just love dealing with co-workers who know just enough to be a PITA.

    OR Decals

I've been down this road of blackouts. It ain't worth the hassle IMO.
  23. I'm too much of a fatass for a grom lol. My ride to work is 15 miles.
  24. Oh, my FJR is not going anywhere. It's an awesome touring machine and can tear up the twisties with no issue. I'm just thinking something to hop on to go to work and ride to cruise ins and stuff. I debated on finding an old xs650 or cb, but it would be cool to have a retro bike with fuel injection, brembos, etc. I might see if I can get a test ride on one of these.
  25. Hey guys, I have been eye balling around looking for a second bike for commuting to work. I really like the looks of the New Royal Enfield Continental GT. I noticed there's a dealer in Zanesville. I was wondering if anyone has ever rode one of these newer Royal Enfields. I am kinda concerned of the lack of power in them for riding on highways.
