  1. i had bent caliper bolts cause it once. there's fixed. floating, and semi floating. On some bikes as a last resort people will bend the spring washers out away from the rotor.
  2. they're also known to blow through the middle of the hollow o-ring and have the bypass valve break and block flow
  3. Chased a spider out of the steering nut. I think it was a black widow. One was dead and the other live.
  4. bought the above at micro center, the plunger is between the mounts instead of on the end like the stock switch and mounts are a bit off. Did a post op on the original switch. cut/melt the potting and you can swap the outside pins' wire and convert between closed open types.
  5. These $11-15 boots will probably get removed or never sent....maybe he has several auctions. I heard on the credit monitoring depending on what you sign you may give up the right to sue or class action. Also it was offered for one year, then your identity info's still out there but they auto charge you for year 2. they may have gotten enough beef and changed the tune.
  14. this radio shack one looks to be open or closed based on which spades you connect to. aaand radio shack is finally bankrupt out of town
  15. why would they stamp both kinds all with the same number?

Wow, what a mess. hope the executives see some time. Can I call SS, tell them my card's been stolen and get a new number.
  17. I ordered a ducati brake switch. before checking... it too is mirrored Looking at a ducati forum where they suggest an unsealed 250vac radio shack switch(dual side mount). it has 3 spades.... I bet these 1022 switches do too under the epoxy. my old open switch has wires coming out in different place than the new closed switch. The mirror mount tab thing may be an axial/radial lever "design".
  18. was going to use it to replace the clutch switch preventatively. the clutch switch Also says 1022 but is a mirror image with the mount tabs on the opposite side
  19. My rear brakes (lights) were always on last week. I unplugged the front switch and they went off and the rear worked normal. Couldn't get the front micro switch working on a bench test. Ordered a replacement switch with the same number stamped on it. BUT it has a flexible metal tab that covers the plastic plunger often comes up as a clutch switch but I've seen them as mirror images with the mounting opposite. This one appeared to work when i tested it to see if if it mattered which prong when where after I removed the plug to shrink wrap it because the wire was a bit short. Then when I plugged it in the brakes are on normal and off with the lever pulled. I know there are normal open and normal closed switches But the Brake lever pushes the plunger by default and and releases with the lever pulled.
