Stores are pretty empty no matter what time you go. That’s empty of both people and products. I went to Walmart tonight around 8. I saw very few people. They didn’t have dog food, but I was able to find bread. It was even the kind I prefer (means nobody likes seeded rye bread).

If I tried something like this it would be a for sure emergency visit to the dentist. Arms would give out and my face hitting the ground would be the only thing to stop me.

My wife, youngest daughter, and mother-in-law all flew to Florida this morning. They got round trip flights for like $45 a piece. I’m guessing all airports look similar to your photo.

I went Friday after work to renew my plates because I was afraid they would shut down the BMV. I’m not sure how many days I have to show up to the school. I’m hoping to get at least 1 nice day when I’m off to get out and shake off the cobwebs.

@NinjaDoc thanks for chiming in. I was hoping to get your thoughts. What you say gives me a better perspective. We Americans have difficulty thinking of others outside ourselves.

I think another part of MORGA would be the Epic rides as well. It’s how I got started here. Prior to my 1st Epic, I had never been part of a group ride.

Ouch. I had the rear kick out on me a couple of years ago on 170 when the road was a little damp and I rolled off the throttle. I don’t think I aggressively chopped it but definitely rolled out of it. I got a kick as the bike stood up vertically, but thankfully I didn’t get thrown. I know what I’m supposed to do but making my body do that instead of the survival reaction is my issue.

I notice you didn’t mention your desire to ride the torture rack.

By nothing, do you mean you maintained same throttle position or did you roll off? If I remember correctly Code says that in a slide you are to maintain throttle. Correct me if I’m wrong. I know when things get scary for me my natural instinct kicks in and I roll off, unless it happens so fast I do nothing.

No motorcycling today but the ground was frozen perfect this morning on my ATV track. I put in a few laps and was comfortable launching all but 1 of the doubles. It gave me a small Powersports I’ve been craving as of late. I also rode the bicycle for an hour. It was pretty good day for February.

I hate when the law protects scumbags. It shouldn’t be difficult. You gave the guy 14k. He provides material receipts, hours worked, and deducts that amount from 14k then owes the difference. It really annoys me that it’s a contractor. I know many people in the construction business including my father. Guys like this scumbag make many people believe all contractors are out to rob them. Sounds like you’re dealing with a true piece of 💩. Sorry to hear about this but I would tell you not all contractors are like him. I wish you lived closer, so I could recommend someone. I hope you get a decent amount of your money back when it’s all said and done.
