  1. Derek would love to do this, but the wife already made plans that I know I can't get out of. Have fun. Enjoy the day.
  2. I was thinking about picking up a rebuilt 1000rr and my insurance agent said Progressive would cover it with full coverage. Here was the catch, however, in the case of a claim there would be a significant decrease in value. They never gave me a specific number, nor did they answer my question if the premium would be lowered since the evaluation was lower.
  3. I bought the Kevlar jeans from iron pony and really like them so far. They were $60, come with knee pads and have not been too hot for me. The warmest temp so far has been around 80 that I have rode with them on.

    Masonary advise

That pad is rough. I can see the bow in it from your picture. I used to do some construction with my dad back in the day. He would have killed me if I did work like that. Guys like this contractor used to tick my dad off to no end. They give other contractors a bad rep. Good luck with it. I hope it all comes out in the wash when it's all said and done.
  5. I took a salvage bike years ago and converted it to rebuilt. Definitely need receipts, I did not have to have them notarized. If I remember correctly before I took it to be inspected I had to apply for some paperwork. I can't remember where or what exactly the paperwork was. I took the bike to Ravenna to be inspected. I would think your local title office could give you some advice. All in all it was a pretty painless process back in the late 90s when I did it.

    6/5 NEO-SEO & back.

If I read Warren's intro thread correctly he rode with @jacobhawkins. He could probably offer a recommendation on whether or not to make this trip.
  7. Jeff it was nice to meet you. Wish I could have rode with you guys all day. Hopefully next time I can.
  8. That's good that they are planning to cover stuff they already did. Says they are quality. I get what Pauly is saying about letting them handle it, but if their only answer is it was faulty parts I would be worried. I understand you can get faulty parts, but man I would hope they look deeper into it. Hope it all works out.
  9. Still off topic. Tim are they charging you again to replace the same stuff?
  10. Tim you may want to tell them to check the flywheel. I know the cbr 929 had charging issues and some guys were finding the magnets in the flywheel were screwed up. I know I would not be comfortable with them just replacing what they just did. Especially with the big trip you have planned.

    Road rage

Just confirms my thoughts to stay the heck away from morons on the road. No sense in engaging them, probably nothing good will come from it. Hope they lock the idiot up and never allow them behind the wheel again.
  12. Doc thanks for leading me around this morning. I had a great time. First time I ever rode 152 and really liked it, even if a couple of corners caught me off guard. It was great to see you again. Nice to meet you Al. I hope to see you again. Dan it was great to meet you in person too. Thanks for the tip. I tried to put that adjustment into practice as I ran home. Definitely a different feel and will take sometime to get used to. Pauly nice to see you again. Not sure how to respond to the Honda comment. You obviously get that there is nothing more reliable, yet you call it boring. I guess it somewhat answers the question I had for you at the epic ride as to why you choose Ducati. Glad the bikes ran good and I'm jealous you saw no cops. I saw them everywhere. Some of that was the fact I ran route 11 to get home. Even with Nivin, however, we spotted cops. Thanks again for saving me a ticket on 170 Doc. I would have for sure been done for if I was riding solo. I love to rip through that area. Good day overall got 5 hrs in riding and made it home on time to help my wife get my daughter's b-day party organized. Thanks for letting my Honda tag along in your Suzuki party gentlemen.
  13. I'm in gentlemen. I may have to head home before the end of the ride but I will see you at 8.
  14. Not sure where all your heading. I ride 164 to 9 to 250 quite often and am familiar with that area. I may still be in. I just have feel out what my wife is thinking. We have a birthday party for my daughter in the evening @ my house so it may be a hard sell. I will get back today with a for sure yes or no.
  15. About an hr north of Canfield. I actually rode with Derek's group this year at the epic ride and it was a good pace for me. If I end up riding tomorrow I will have to be back to Canfield by noon, so I'm thinking it may be best to meet up with you guys another time. I don't want to be the guy that messes things up.
  16. I will sure up what is going on tomorrow and get back to you.
  17. Doc this is a possibility for me. Are you are running 164 south from meet spot?
  18. Congrats on the new bike. From what I have read about those they seem sweet. Definitely unique.
  19. Nobody was asking about your junk. That may have been too much information.

Whaler are those rides always posted on the forum?
  21. Got home around 6:30. 530 miles today. I too have the sore neck but by the end of the season this will not be a problem for me either. It was great to see those I met last year and meet some new faces as well. Derek, Connie14, Ricer1, Whaler, Wolfman, and Jacob thanks for allowing me to ride with you guys. I had a blast. Hope I get to ride again with you guys. Derek thanks for organizing all of this and leading our group. Hellmutt sorry to hear you went down. I did not know anything about it until I read it hear. Glad your ok.
  22. Wife gave me the ok. I plan on making this tomorrow as long as my knee feels good. Over did it this week and fighting swelling in the knee I had acl surgery on. I'll ride with Hellmutt or a medium fast group.
  23. Probably out for sure if it moves to Sunday. If weather is crap not sure I'll be there tomorrow.
  24. I agree on the fact that I typically am farther than 100 miles away. That's why my thought has always been tow me to a rental place, rent a truck and haul it myself in the truck. My guess when I'm somewhere like tail of the dragon, that will be for sure the cheapest route. For me in the boondocks it may even be cheaper to do this if I'm in southeast Ohio.
