  1. I have AMA. It covers any vehicle as well. Called them a couple times for keys locked in vehicle. What I would tell you in those instances is it will be awhile before they get there. I think they have a limited number of providers. I use them because for $50 a year it also supports a group that looks out for motorcyclists and lobbies for your rights as a rider.
  2. I hope you're right. Btw it would be easier to trust you if you had a different forum name.
  3. This may work for me. I will confirm later in the week, if that's alright with you.
  4. I have only spooned on 1 set of tires, but my experience was just the opposite. Removing the wheels was the easy part, removing and mounting the tires was the pain for me. Granted I have removed the wheels multiple times. If it eventually becomes easier to mount the tires I will be so happy.

I typically don't negotiate unless it's in person as well. I usually communicate through text or call. Do you use email only?

    2015 Grom

You never even had a guy text you with a crazy low offer or someone drive an hour and half just to tire kick? What is your secret? I have bought a few bikes to flip. Usually post the bike at blue book price or a couple hundred below. I have successfully sold all of them, but have dealt with my fair share of douche bags.
  7. I usually just hit the chain with a rag with some kerosene right after a ride while the chain is still warm to clean. Then I dry it a bit with a clean rag and finally spray it with some chain lube. I have done just the clean and lube with wd40, but it does not last as long. When on long trips, like when I went to the Dragon last year I did use wd at the end of each day. I just bought a small can and kept it in my tail bag.
  8. I decided to try the PR2s because I was going through a Conti rear every 4,000 miles and that seemed like every time I turned around I needed new tires. I was also buying and paying a local shop for the Conti's and having them installed there for about $300 total. So I decided to buy a set of PR2s from Rocky Mountain for $260 and some tire irons and install them myself. Ended up being about the same cost for me and now I have some new tools and skills.
  9. IP for years I have been running ContiMotions and have been content. Last night I spooned on some PR2s. Still not the PR4s being discussed here, but I think I noticed a big difference on the test run last night. Bike felt much much smoother. Now it may just be in my head or the fact that it was time for new tires, but if it is in fact just the tires are that much better. I can't imagine what the 4s would be like.
  10. I feel your pain on removing panel to change oil. My 600rr is the same. I even have to remove coolant bottle to get filter out.
  11. Thanks for handling all of this Derek. I'm sure it was a pain. Can't wait for the ride. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

    Church carry

I do attend church regularly, but as the story above mentions that does not mean bad things do not happen in my life or other Christians as well. I believe God gave us a brain to use and if we can do something to prevent bad things from happening to us or others we care about we should do it.
  13. I have no insight on a tank bag. For me personally I purchased a set of Motocentric sport saddle bags last year when I went to the dragon. They worked very well. The waterproof covers did not hold up to freeway speeds, but I did not rely on them anyways. I put everything in plastic bags before slipping it into the saddlebags. I lay on my tank on the highway and I think a tank bag would interfere with that. Between the saddles and the backpack I strap on the rear of my bike I had enough storage for my 5 day trip.
  14. My shirt came yesterday as well. I did not notice any issues, but I'm gonna double check now.

    SQUIRREL!!!!!

Glad to know I'm not the only 1 that has used motocross techniques on the street. My event was a set of nasty bumps however not an animal.
  18. Got the suit today. Fit good and looks good, just as described. Thanks. I would say if anybody else is looking at anything you posted they can buy with confidence. Now just to save up for a track day and get enough guts to go for it. Thanks for getting me 1 step closer.
  19. I ended up ordering a pair of the jeans, and got some deals on a rain suit, and chest protector as well for riding the quad. Jeans are a bit snug even going up a size. They will work though and I typically shed some lbs in the summer as well so that will help too.
  20. I enjoy Craigslist as well, bought and sold my fair share of items on there. The bike I currently came from there via a trade for a Raptor quad. I have had my dealings with douche bags, but I also have run into some decent honest people as well. You can usually tell what you're dealing with, but I have been fooled a time or 2. All in all I've had good luck with it.
  21. That sucks. I have dealt with guys like that on Craigslist multiple times and it sucks. Sorry it didn't work out for you.
  22. Cool. Hope it all works out for you. Good luck with it.
