What about medical coverage? What are your payouts for the policy 50k/100k/50k or more? Or do you have the Ohio minimums which are like 10k/12.5/10k? Did you have a ticket come off? Something has changed. You don't just go from $400 to $150 without anything changing.....
-
Who is your provider? I would say they probably have dropped your medical coverage if you even had it before. Check your policy but my guess is NO PAY for any hospital visit....

VMAX's are bad ass but they are talking about bringing out an ALL NEW model in either 07 or 08. Even if you don't want a new one, TONS of parts available for them. Easily a 9-second cruiser. The only problem is they have shit for mileage. It's like a V-ROD with the little ass tank under the seat. If you get over 100-miles to a tank you are lucky.... Otherwise very fun bike and does great rolling burn outs...

It is very easy. I would say the hardest part is knowing how much oil to put back in. As long as you have that in the manual, you are set. Swapped a pair out for a buddy and it took maybe 2-hours total for everything on a Fat Boy.

If you have some tools, you could do it yourself.....

It comes out Feb 17th in Dayton and only at the critic extremist theaters. No big cinema production for that around here.... I'll go see it though....

http://sportrider.com/bikes/performance/ Sportrider and several other mags have them on there sites but they aren't real accurate. Some are corrected and some aren't so you have to be careful. Lets not forget that most of there runs are with PRO-riders so the average joe is half a second OR MORE off of those times. Riding a bike at the track is another animal compared to a car/truck....

I've got a buddie that is into it huge in Cali. I didn't realize it was even going on in Ohio....?

What you got? I thought about this again a while back but held off. What's a decents setup run for Nitro these days? Electric was going to be $2,200+ just for the basics to race...
-
IMO...you can get a lot better bike for $2,500 than a Katana. I would stick with something that is proven to work. SV-650, Honda F1, F2 or F3.

Uh....his teeth are normal. :grin2: You guys do know who that is right? He got the bike as a gift from Kawi and does great things on a motorcycle....

The right side might match the angle of the fender (unlike the left side) but look at the alignment on the bottom. Look at the gap difference between the top of the taillights.... How is the drivers door/fender looking? Is it just the pic or does the PAINT NOT MATCH AT ALL. The bumper looks a lot brighter than the hatch and the tail lights don't appear to match. It may just be the light in the picture. What does it look like in the wheel well and underneath? Any overspray or other signs of shitty work? Have you driven it? Does it track straight when you let go of the wheel? Keep CHECKING EVERYTHING over and over and look for something NEW everytime. Did you ask about a depreciation value claim? -
Is this radio gold plated? WTF? It's just a regular tape deck stereo right? Sucks about your truck. I loved those things. I had two buddies in High School with them and we would race all the time. They didn't have much done so anything past about 100mph and it was over.

Hell yes they have to fix the front end if the frame was bent. If the frame IS bent, you are in a completely new problem. They didn't put it on a frame jig from the start or they would have probably totalled it with a current quote for only $3800. Call the insurance companies and let them know what's going on. YOU ARE NOT HAPPY and will not take the car until it's FIXED RIGHT. The point is that THEY ARE THE BODY shop and the fact that you had to inspect it and point the stuff out to them tells me how shitty there work is. A quality shop would not even think of releasing the car to you like that. Go after those dumbasses because that is BS. I'm guessing they thought your girl the owner of the car was going to pick it up and just drive away, not even bothering with it. I would screw them even harder just for the principal..... -
Not bad, is that a Suzuki M50?

DO NOT LET THEM PULL THAT SHIT. Call YOUR insurance company and get them in the loop in case you have to go after them. That or talk to a lawyer FOR SURE. I would also fight for a vehicle depreciation value claim since you are going to be screwed again once you try and sell it. They should give you several thousand for that. Since the front door is not ligned up AT ALL, I would take it to another shop and have it put on a frame jig. If it's that bad in the front, it's only going to be worse for the rest of the car. 6-months down the road when you can't figure out why the tires are wearing funny and the car will never align right, you are going to be even more pissed. How hard was it hit? Can we get some pics of the damage after the wreck? What did they quote to fix it, just curious? -
You still aren't reading between the lines. The TIMES ARE CORRECTED for elevation and temperature. They ran at what LACR or one of the other high altitude tracks which is at 2700' or 3700'. So they pulled out the trusting calculator and for the last time CORRECTED THE TIMES. Rickey Gadson THE ACTUAL RIDER posted all of this on one of the drag boards. The bikes all ran in the high 10's and CORRECTED they CALCULATED the 9-second numbers. They are not REAL WORLD sea level readings. The only 600's that are getting in the 9's are FAR FROM STOCK. We are talking SS class rules which means slammed, geared, miled head, no gasket for raised compression, degreed cams, 20lbs. of led in the nose, etc...etc.. and every other drag race trick in the book. THESE ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO STOCK BIKES. For reference the same mods on a liter bike are getting low-9/high 8's On a stock wheelbase bike. You need to get out of the house more and NOT BELIEVE everything you read in a magazine. I am speaking of REAL WORLD results/testing not what someone else has fabricated and published in a magazine or on the NET....
-
See the other thread so I am not typing *twice*.... Please get a CLUE and quit talking about BS FALSE magazine numbers...
-
Read my post again.... Get a little drag race experience under your belt and you will have FACTS to post instead of magazine article pipe dreams.... Considering the SS600's are barely running faster than that and they have ALL the tricks done.
-
God you are ignorant! You have NO CLUE what you are talking about. I have probably had more experience on street bikes in one year than you have had TOTAL since you received your motorcycle license.... Continue to dig yourself a BS hole though we find it funny...
-
You need to find out all the facts before you start spreading magazine BS....see my other post for the details.
