Third from the top.... http://www.mpsracing.com/ Everthing you need, just make sure you TUNE it and don't spray it until it is TUNED!

No offense but this video is about 3 or 4 months old.....but still a great vid!

What speed are they running or is this from a stop? My guess is Linn will jump out a car or two and then the faster you go, Sam will slowly real him back-in. They will be close around 140 and then Linn will ever so slowly drop back at 160+. On spray I bet on whoever gets traction first....

Joe, I should be deploying again in June/July timeframe so you are going to have to wait until after Winter 07' Turbo build. Then it will hopefully be 3xxRWHP! Maybe we can get some film guys to come up for KingsofStreetII. See www.fulltiltlife.com/ for details. Later, Josh

I don't know if you guys realize this or not but it's the INTERNET. You could say it's a 9-second car or a 14-second car and it isn't going to matter. Until he actually races someone with it, it's ALL TALK!

Getting your Temps?Did you pass on the first try?
Got-Boost? replied to fooswinger's topic in Daily Ride
My post was in relation to the RIDING porting when you are ready for your license. The book test you def need to study because shit you would NOT do is on the test.... Someone that doesn't ride wrote the test from what I could tell. Do they still have on there to ride in the center of the lane? Dumb asses..... -

I would call the DMV office and see what "THEY" expect you to do locally. Every place is different so they may want to see something that isn't in the book. That will also give you an idea of what you have to work with if it takes place in there parking lot or wherever. For the hell of it, you could go out and practice a few times if you are a beginner. Otherwise, I would think it is pretty easy. In Texas, they would just follow you in a car and honk for left or right and then watch your line and score you on handling the bike. But in Mississippi, they said go to the end of the parking lot turn around and come back. No problem but the lot was barely big enough to turn a sportbike around in PLUS it was gravel so....things could get sporty depending on the local requirements.... -
What equipment/brand do you recommend?jackets/helmets?
Got-Boost? replied to fooswinger's topic in Daily Ride
The short answer is: when you go down, the metal slides on the pavement and HEATS UP. Instead of protecting your hands, it will burn your hands underneath and cause a lot more pain. The faster you are going when the gloves make contact, the worse it is. I have seen and heard about this many....many....times with those gloves. -
2006 Suzuki Hayabusa 479lbs. 175HP = 2.73 $11,099 MSRP! Ya...the Busa is a little long in the tooth, maybe Suzuki will wake up for 07'! GSX1400R 20x HP!

Stay away from the ICON gloves that have the metal finger covers. Bad idea if you go down..... -
What is it before we click on it?

I just realized the $800 raise was for a MONTH, I thought you meant for 6-months. Uh....ya that's BS! Def keep calling around, that was my bad...sorry.

It's only a matter of time now. No Lightning and every Ford dealer can get the GT500's.

It doesn't matter who you are or what you do, 2 accidents and a careless op ticket is going to screw anyone on low rates for a couple years. Your probably just going to have to suck it up and pay. Since State Farm is usually one of the top 2 or 3 for rates, I would think it is only going to get worse when you shop around. They might quote you a sweet deal but once they have you and find out your info, they are probably going to jack your rates even higher than they are now....

Driving 140mph on the Autobahn and passed by a Ferrari F40 like we were standing still. Probably the only time I have seen a bad ass car hauling the mail. Other than that, I've see just about everything on the road except the new Bugatti....

Just signed up for motorcycle classes, need a bike!

They will let you rent or use one depending on the course. -
I think the best investment for you is to take out a life insurance policy on him if he says, "SCREW ALL OF YOU, I AM GETTING IT!" Probably the best investment of the hole deal....

Does he have any clue how "GAP INSURANCE" works? It only covers what he owes over what the insurance company pays. HE STILL HAS TO PAY FULL COVERAGE to be covered by that. It's not like the $12 a month gap insurance is going to cover a $11k bike if he looses it. Has he not figured out that insurance is going to be 5-times A MONTH what the bike PAYEMENT is going to be????

I can't believe he even has thoughs of a 1000cc bike. First of all, if he can't get a loan in his own name, he can't afford it period. It's not like this is his first cheap car and his parents are helping him out. He is looking at a second vehicle that he can't even ride year round. Second, he needs to call around on insurance. Since he will have a loan on the vehicle, HE HAS TO HAVE FULL COVERAGE. If he wrecks the bike or the lender finds out, he shit out of luck. With his record, I would be surprised if it isn't MORE than $1,000 a month for full coverage. Third, he could start on a 1000 but I don't recommend it. Esp with his driving history already, he is going to kill himself or someone else because he clearly doesn't know when to say when and SLOW THE FUCK DOWN sometimes..... Good luck but the $$$$$ will probably keep him from it even if he trys on his own with our/your advice or not. P.S...please have him call and get a quote or go online. This could be hilarious what his insurance rate will be. I wish I could see the look on his face when they give it to him... :grin2:

What are you still doing in Ohio?? I thought you joined the Marines? You should be getting owned on Paris Island right now, what's the deal....

So tell me, for a 600, which brand for a beginner?
Got-Boost? replied to chrismindless's topic in Daily Ride
Okay! I thought you were talking about GRIP TAPE, found on skate boards. It's like sand paper that comes in big sheets for traction. Might be a little to much traction for a bike but would be nice on a dirtbike maybe.... -

Please tell me you aren't talking about GRIP TAPE!?!?!? -
GM built another car that didn't sell, big surprise here....

Many reasons but the biggest is some Health insurance policy's don't cover it. They also don't cover passengers if you ever take a girl for a ride. Probably the biggest is if you are hit by an un-insured driver, sometimes it will cover the gap in the state or Health policy. It is all going to depend on your coverage of car/bike and Health. If you are military, it doesn't really matter but some people don't get those benefits or have that coverage.

dragknee66, Damn....who do you have? My BUSA is only $256 for full coverage (6-months), 50k/100k/50k and only $250 deducatable. USAA is the way to go unless you don't qualify then Sate Farm is probably the next best thing. Only problem is SF wants all your business to give you the discount on bikes. Blazinjr, I would check your policy. A while back someone posted on the BUSA boards that a lot of complanys have re-done there bike policy's and NO LONGER have medical coverage if you are injured riding a motorcycle. Make sure you read the fine print and check all policy coverages. They don't just drop your rate 50% without a reason, esp a company like Progressive....
