That is what I have been trying to tell you the entire time. If you don't have the MSF card or the state doesn't accept it, then you have to take the local test, etc.... However, just because you have a M endorsement on your license does not mean you can just transfer it in a new state. They will make you retake the test UNLESS you have the MSF card which is what I have been talking about the entire time. If the state accepts the course (MSF card), that is all you need when going to get your license. (Show them the card and they give you the endorsement) But.....some states don't accept the MSF card and will make you take the local written test/riding portion regardless IF YOU HAVE THE MSF CARD OR NOT. Which again is what I have been talking about the entire time. The state either accepts the MSF card as a completed motorcycle course or they don't....PERIOD! I am not talking about the local DMV crap, that is none transferable....

Like I said "if the state accepts the MSF course then they will accept the card regardless of what state it is completed in." Some states approve of the MSF over the basic DMV requirements and some don't. It doesn't matter where it is completed AS LONG AS THE STATE ACCEPTS IT. For instance Texas, Mississippi and Ohio accepted my MSF experienced riders card and Oregon didn't. It just depends on the state and if they accept the MSF requirements.....

Where did you get the wait info on a new M5? If you have the cash, I can get you one in 4-months....
-
It doesn't have anything to do with the voucher. Either the state accepts the MSF course or it doesn't. It shouldn't matter where you complete it.....

Just curious if anyone on here has been on a motorcycle? I am heading down with some guys for the BUSA BASH at the end of April. I have driven through in a car but never on a bike. We'll see how the heavy ass BUSA does.... More info for those that aren't aware---> http://www.tailofthedragon.com/

Wow, that is a rip. MSF course is only like $35 if that and it does the same thing. You shouldn't have a problem getting in, just call around. There is more than one place in OH to do it....

Yes! So that means you aren't going far before it kicks back in the 230mph mode....
-
Looks like fun! Wish I could have made it over. Soon, very soon hopefully...

Don't forgett the Veyron is only running 15.8lbs of boost. Add race gas, crank it up and see what she'll really do. It probably wouldn't even get traction on the salt-flats at top speed...

Three coolant radiators, one heat exchanger (for twin air-to-liquid intercoolers), and two air-conditioning condensors. Don't forget the transmission, differential and engine oil cooler.

Not true! The car has three mode settings. Normal, Handling, TopSpeed. Normal the car rides at 4.9in. When you put it in handling mode the car drops to 3.1in (front) and 3.7in (rear) and is good for around 230mph. To go 253 you have to come to a stop and turn the key lock that is on the floor left of the drivers seat. Once this is activated the car drops to 2.6/2.8 inches. The front underbody flaps close and the rear spoiler and wing retract. This reduces drag from .41 to .36 which causes down force to go from 770 to 120lbs..... Bugatti recommends that you check to see that all of the aerodynamic changes have taken place and to check tire pressure and condition before proceding on. No Bugatti pit-crew needed at all. However if you go over 35mph and turn the steering more than 90-degrees or even touch the brakes, the car automatically returns to the handling mode (230ish). P.S....the car is governed at 253 not aero limited. Also reference your AIR BRAKE comment, if you have been on the autobahn you would know the reasoning behind it. Just to give you a little info on it. The wing is deployed when you step on the brakes only. Which at 230mph raises it to 55-degrees and increases downforce to 1100lbs. and adds as much as 2500lbs of drag. Which provides 2.00 g of initial deceleration which they claim is 50% more than a 911 at any speed.

Hate to break it to you but that's old news. The new Bugatti Veyron wipes the floor with that car @ 253mph....

Many things play a factor in the graph. Could be tire spin, tune, weather, etc...or just plane the values on the program that display the graph. P.S....Cobra R's can be bought for a lot less than $80k.....

Which bike night? It's still Quaker Steak & Lube on Wed? Where else? -
Just curious where the hang-outs are at in C-bus and when everyone normally goes out? I finally met CBR600Girl at the CheeseCake Factory last week (nice meeting you) and thought it would be better to meet some of the other people on here. CBRGirl tried to tell me a few places to go for bikes but I have already forgotten where/when...!?!!? Feel free to PM me if it's somewhere that shouldn't be posted... Maybe some of the Dayton guys can come over for a bike night or something.

It's all good until someone causes an accident because they are watching "YOU" and not the road. I have seen people get rearended watching other guys show off. Watch your mirrors folks.... First day out yesterday and not even a mile into the ride and some bitch yacking on the cell almost takes me out. She saw my buddy pass her on a Harley but didn't bother to look and see another bike 6-feet behind him. The season is here, be safe out there and ride as if they don't see you.

Is the car worth $5k? Thats about what the bike is worth (or less) depending how ghetto'd out it is...

The latest issue of RoadRacing World has a comparison with all the 06 Liter bikes. ZX-10 has the motor this year but the suspension is still not up to par with the Suzuki. GSXR-1000 is still KING for the best all around bike! The HONDA was a huge improvement but just not quite what it needed to come out on top. However depending on your riding experience, they are ALL pretty equal.

Anybody can do it, they just delay the loan date. Only problem is it's that much longer until payoff adding more interest on what you haven't begun to paid on...

John, Chill! It's really not that big a deal is it!?! (1) I didn't post about another city being better, just that ATC isn't that busy at CMH and odds are it won't work in anyones favor. That would make it better for C-bus because you won't have the flight delays, etc. (2) In no way was that a bash. As a matter a fact I will put in a application at CMH when my service commitment ends. Anything to get out of arm pit Dayton... (3) Where in this thread did I say anything about Houston? That was in one maybe two threads a while ago so please let it rest. Sorry if it offended you but C-Bus is still cool..... Now get that damn Vette running so I can watch you pull me (current mods) on the big end. Josh

What kind of bike?
-
Odds are in favor for this to NOT work, CMH isn't that busy.... Maybe ORD or ATL or something but CMH....

What have you ridden in the past?
