  1. Did the stock motor live...? I understand cracking the boost now that it's fully built, just wondering if it failed on stock motor...? You still have to have two commanders for the PC-V (unless it's a V-twin). The only setup out that controls both sets of injectors is a Bazzaz or using the ECU-flasher now that the ECU's have been hacked...
  2. Did it live or was that the reason for the built motor....?
  3. The injectors should be okay, what pump is he running...? I hope that isn't a stock motor making that power....
  4. That's the same distance that the previous record was held at Bruntingthorp in the UK. It's the first event in the US that had the ability to host a 1.5-mile race. Apples-to-apples the record is back in the US again... :bangbang: For 1-mile it's still 260ish by Lee Shirts at Maxton and at Bonneville last week Richard Assen was the first open wheel bike to run 260mph+ on the salt. Many records were broken at Loring, not just the fastest TURBO bike...
  5. My buddy Shane on Monday went 265.9MPH at Loring AFB shattering ALL bike records...
  6. That's to bad! At one time he was the man when it came to BUSA info...
  7. Yes sir, wish Motorhead was still around. What's that crazy cat up to these days...?
  8. They can't use that power and have to dial it back a LOT! Don't forget the BUSA went 260mph years ago and the Supra's are just now going high-240's in 1-mile. I take it you haven't been to one of these events because 240-260 is a GIANT difference in a 1-mile race....
  9. Oh come on guys, live a little... Anyone headed up to Loring this weekend...? They have a 1-mile and 1.5-mile event this weekend, fingers crossed for records to fall. I'm hoping Ben, Bob, or Shane run 265-270+ if conditions are right and tires stay together...
  10. I've seen the SU-35 with it but haven't seen the Raptor clone they are claiming as the next gen aircraft. Any info on that...?
  11. I believe you meant the F-35. That's why the F-35 is called the "Joint Strike Fighter"... http://www.jsf.mil/ The F/A-22 was designed for the Air Force ONLY from the beginning. http://www.f22-raptor.com/ I'm sure they could adapt it for other branches but it was never intended for any other service...
  12. That's funny because it sure looks like they photochopped a Raptor (minus thrust vectoring) in Russion colors. It's pretty typical since they try and copy just about everything we make and pass it off as there own... They practice Simulated Flame Out's (SFO's) with F-16's on a regular basis at WPAFB. They are stationed at Springfield and fly over to do VFR work. Since the F16 only has a single engine they are practicing a controller drop. Then they hit the burner and climb straight back up to 10,000ft. to drop down again....
  13. You are correct... Not to mention the F-35 is slated for multiple branches. That means a larger order and more funding required for the complete program. Money will be saved however, things like making a VTOL model for the Marines will add a LOT of extra cost....
  14. Where are you getting this info? The F-35 can't do a LOT of stuff the Raptor does. The only thing even close to the truth is that it's cheaper (even that is debatable because the complete cost of the F-35 program isn't finished)...
  15. LOL....if you are buying a car like that MPG isn't really a concern. Bring it down to Texas and you can see 200+ legally...
  16. CAI and tune! They run pretty good down here in Texas!
  17. Nice vid! I wanted to check it out at the Texas Mile but didn't get a chance to come say hello...
  18. It's normally around $10k for those that don't carry insurance. Anything abnormal and it usually doubles if not more depending on the case. I'd be prepared for around $2k but it should be much less depending on your coverage.... It's because they say the drugs affect the child's development or something as they grow if she gets an epidural. Apparently your kid will become a doctor, cure cancer and world peace if she gives birth without it... :bs:
  19. The car looks great and.... http://www.bmwz8.us/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=263&stc=1&d=1104951481 ....is based from this car the 507. http://www.renestaud.com/shop/images/BMW507003.jpg
  20. I'd like to see one of the new LP-560's run...
  21. I've got a BBC sports channel that has all of the MOTOGP and WSBK races. You can also watch it live or download it from the SBK site--> http://www.worldsbk.com/pubb_EN/sbkTV.php# I believe SPEED played it on Tuesday unless it was a different WSBK race at Brands Hatch. I forgot to record it so I'm not sure if it was the correct race... http://www.speedtv.com/schedule/filter/date/2008-8-5
  22. I watched this race on Sunday and shut it off half way through not knowing what was about to happen.......prayers sent for his family and friends.
  23. I'd try the cheaper Meth kid before you go through the hassel of swapping all that stuff out, retuning, etc. etc....when you may get better results using less fuel and for less money. What's another 20lbs. on a street car anyway... This is why you should have kept the Viper and built it up. 1,000+rwhp on PUMP fuel ALL day long... :bangbang: Sure on C16 or a much more expensive fuel, NOT pump gas....
