    Who's down? Post up.
  2. Akron Fulton Airport. I guess around lunch time and until you get bored. Counted.
  3. Boy, are you gonna be sorry you put this online. I appreciate that more than you'll wish you knew. I will be in touch.
  4. I am freshly-hatched newb strudel on a bike outside my skillset, but I am down to learn and develop that skillset.
  5. The GS will be better off-road than I am. I have been thinking about doing the TransOhioTrail this (or next) season. I want to use up these Anakee 3 stockers before I go knobby. I also considered doing the TOT on the Hyper..
  6. I am genuinely happy that you are happy with the bike. I just expected more from it than it was designed to offer. It really is a fun, fast and nimble machine. I am just a spoiled old man that needs more creature comforts. I am glad it will be enjoyed. Please respect that engine. The front end takes flight at 10k rpm when you are running wide open. Speed safe, kid.

Sort of on-topic... I ordered a set of EarPeace plugs a few weeks ago. I have been using them primarily for louder work sites and they are pretty good for noise control and they are comfortable. I do not use buds, anymore. My helmet has Sena built into it and I can charge while I ride if necessary. The speakers could be a little louder, but the Voyager and GS have quiet cockpits. I can hear Waze just fine. I just wanted some more clarity in my tunes. I am hoping the way these plugs let lower decibels through means I can turn down the speakers and get a little better sound, but it is never warm when I am home. Gonna hafta wait until spring. https://www.earpeace.com/
  8. Little low-balling shit.
  9. Well, the neighbors' chickens keep shitting in the driveway. I auppose you could use that.
  10. Well, we will see what others have to say about the date. That can be altered, but only once and only until March. I have to make sure I give work enough notice so I can actually be here.

  12. Same shenanigans, but a different venue. This will not be a BYOB event, but if I do not receive requests... you will be drinking Coke and water. I do not keep spare beer around the house, but there is a Circle K within walking distance. The menu will consist of the following: -Hungarian sausage, hot and mild..served with peppers and onions. -Cabbage rolls stuffed with sausage. -Pierogies. -Raw vegetables and dip. -Macaroni and potato salad. -Dessert of some variety. -Probably chips and Lawson's French Onion dip, because it just ain't a party without Lawson's. The garage will be open, along with a motorcycle lift and tools. Feel free to use whatever you want, but be prepared to tote your old fluids home with you. I have funnels, a drip pan and shop towels to transfer used fluids into whichever container your fresh fluids were dispensed. Motorcycle parking will be in the driveway. Automobiles are relegated to the street. Please RSVP in this thread so I can keep track of food and beverage needs.
  13. He has been targeted for termination.
  14. Right. I need a tumor. Real nice, Jim. Way to take shit too far.
  15. I can hustle that bike just fine. I just do it with a little self-preservation instinct. Your skull, unlike your scrotum, is chock full o' nuts.
  16. I think your anesthesia was playing tricks on you. They said your nut was the size of a bladder stone.
  17. Nice work. Smart move. I snagged the GS for $18k, which is the only reason it is in my garage. I found one identical to Jim's for $18k, but she says the Voyager is perfect for her needs.. and that is why I own it. I can be happy on anything.. except a FZ6. I love the engine in mine. It is not blistering fast, but it is far from slow. Plus, that "brap, brap,... fart" from the exhaust makes me laugh every time. I like the RT, but your bike looks better. I think you made the right choice. The BMW GTL is an attractive machine, but if I am losing the boxer.. I would go with the Goldwing. The boxer is the best part of my GS, but that is the top item in a very long list of "likes".
  18. Because Bernie Sanders is a kooky old man with a good heart... but not an economically sound mind?
  19. Our leaders represent the worse part of humanity.
  20. No doubt. Jim got quick. You will, too. Shit.. even the RT is a very good 2-up mile muncher in stock configuration. You just have to spend $25-30,000 to get that up front. Or... you can piece meal it a bit at a time with a $15,000 bike and hope "good enough" holds true.
  21. Fuck yes! on sticking with red. It's like you "leveled-up", more so than changed bikes. Also, please extol the virtues of this machine over the IronButt Icon FJR. I have almost zero miles on a Wing and less than 10 on a late-gen FJR. I can wholly accept @Tonik's euphoria switching from the Voyager... great bike, but hardly a competitive tourer against bikes like these. Their range and suspension alone TKO the Voyager from the gate. Is it THAT much better than the FJR, too?
  22. FRESH OC! GET YOUR RED-HOT ORIGINAL CONTENT, RIGHT HERE! Taken this afternoon..right in the heart of Akron.
  23. I agree with Tony. I plan to spend time exploring WV this season. It's right here. Why go all the way to the gap? If I miss the gap.. I can go next year.
