Heat it with a plumbers torch and bend it gently. If you aren't going far with the angle, then it will be fine. It sees very little stress. It may look like shit when you are done. Also, take it off the bike and clamp it into a shop vise or clamp onto a steel surface. Lastly, easy on the gas. A little heat goes a long way with aluminum.

Coworker blew this ride for me. I had to fly out to repair what he flew out to repair last month. Take notice, kids. It doesn't pay to be good at your job. It only invites more work.

Thursday isn't a weekend.

Sucks. I won't land in Akron until 9 o'clock on Sunday evening. I am 100% out for this weekend. No dice. I did verify with my boss that I once I knock out some training in Solon on Wednesday evening, I am free until Monday. That is the last weekend I can zip the Yammer around before the trip. I have to ride one of those days. Absolutely mandatory.

I am not going. I decided to catch up on my chores. I have to put a new rad fan in the car, swing by the bicycle shop for some parts, swing by work to pick up my paperwork and some parts for my gig this weekend... just too much to do and the weather is sort of gross. I will be taking the Whale for these errands, though. So at least I get to put some riding time on the clock.
