  1. That is a Goldwing even I could love. Wow!
  2. $250 fine for parking in that space. You disgust me.
  3. Which track and organization?
  4. It means you have some pressure. The light is not necessarily for "no pressure". It is a low pressure indicator warning. You probably have adequate pressure, but as of right now you have no idea.
  5. How do you know you have oil pressure? Did you check it with a calibrated gauge?
  6. Sportster 883 Low should be on the short list.
  7. Don't blame me. I voted for a military coup.

Nobody here really rides in Cleveland. They all ride south towards the good roads.
  9. You don't owe me an explanation. I am just giving you a hard time for making me sick. You and the FNG can hold hands and discuss "just bandit things" at the shindig. Don't worry.. I will manage the stereo.
  10. New rule. Sam isn't allowed to greet the new people first.
  11. Same here. Thank you for checking. Much appreciated.
  12. Ah, sorry about the misinterpretation. Yes, please me know if you have one.
  13. I just need the tap. I know I can buy a kit, but they're $70. Sort of defeats the purpose of tapping the bar end to save myself the money on aftermarket bar ends. I can get a pack of 5 inserts from McMaster-Carr for $5.
  14. If I get the bar threaded, I can use my current ends and save myself $70. If I cannot find a tap, then I can just buy the Rhinomoto bar ends they make for the Renthal bar. So, your advice is kind of not helpful, yet appreciated because the Rhinomoto bar ends are the only acceptable aftermarket units I have seen thus far. I want a steel bar end, powdercoated black, that doesn't look like something out of sci-fi movie. Thanks for the tip on those. I can buy a set for $72, shipped. Not ideal, but way better than anything else I have come across.
  15. Anybody have one, or know anybody with one? This is not a regular tap. It is specific to threaded inserts, such as Heli-Coil. I am trying to install my OEM bar ends to the new Renthal bar I put on the Yamaha. Thanks and such.
  16. So, is a skid-lid mandatory when piloting a two-wheeled bus, or can I still wear my race replica?
  17. Not as heavy as weights. More expensive than weights. I already have weights. They just don't fit...yet. I have a couple guys looking in their inventory for a 14x1.5mm STI tap. If any of them have one I will install helicoils into the bar and repurpose the Yamaha weights I have. Just. Need. To. Be. Patient.
  18. Eh... I decided it wasn't perfect, so I redid it. Moved the controls out another 10mm and pulled the brake line and rotated it 180 degrees at the left caliper and master cylinder. This allows the banjo fitting at the master to turn down, instead of towards the triple tree. That gave me some extra slack required to move the master out, as well. So, the handlebar install is done well enough to satisfy my inner perfectionist. I thought I might tap the bar end to install the OEM weights, but they are threaded at 14x1.5mm and the bar ID is just over 14mm. So, no dice without drilling it thinner and machining a threaded insert. Too much drama for one weekend. Now I have to spend some time considering which bar weights are the least aesthetically unappealing. There are some shit products out there. All the nice stuff is twice what I paid for the handlebar.
  19. Handlebar is straight. (It was just the cold medicine.) Now I need a bar mirror, blank plates for the OEM mirrors and a dremel for that windscreen. That should quiet the cockpit to an acceptable level.
