I don't know if they're still in business. I sped past there a week ago and looked like the diner was closed and some club took over the shack.

Riverview Diner in Fly, at the bottom of 800, is good food.

In case anyone cares... the Smokehouse in Highlands, NC is a bust. The service is ok and the staff friendly (and attractive), but the food is not very good. The brisket was dry and I had to pour sauce on it just to make it edible. I did not finish what I ordered. The fried okra was good, as the mac and cheese. Good lemonade.

Nope. I had planned to, but decided to ride the Whale today to give me a nice half-dozen days of riding im the rain. Now both are dirty.

Home. Five days of rain, wet roads, glitchy throttle and soggy balls. Just over 1800 miles of that shit. I had a really fun time and am glad I went. Not sarcasm. Will expound on my experience later. Too tired and at the moment I have lasagna to eat.

It is a good cover. Not sure which one I like better. I think Reznor does a better job at convincing me of his self-punishment.

Seems like more of a hassle as a motorcycle with 3 wheels than something like a trike or Can-Am. I hadn't thought of rodent avoidance at speed, or road debris in general. That is a huge negative in my book. However, it probably blows through gravel fairly well. Hard to say for sure, but I think I hate it. Would need to ride one to be sure, and even then I am prone to flights of indecision.
