  1. Howdy neighbor-from Holmsie County. The other side of Mohican!
  2. Monday, first day of Spring! Outback road report: Nasty pavement trenches and potholes, will take your front wheel, chew on it and throw it back out to you! Other than that not bad today! Oh, Holmes, Knox and a bit of Ko-Knockton. Dead skunk in-the-middle of the road and a squirrel too-it is Spring! Deer have littered the shoulder all winter!
  3. http://www.2moto.com/Ride_2Moto/Videos/2Moto_DVD/Part_1/ didn't see no snowbikes in the quik search...so there ya go.
  4. Howdy! Poked around down there every Spring - Chimney Rock Hillclimb. Then they quit doing it...too bad. Welcome.
  5. Speazy texted and I -- PM sent.
  6. cruised thru this exchange and y'all need to contact Senators. Senate president is Bill Harris, 614-466-8086, Floor leader Keith Faber 7584, Majority whip Mark Wagoner 8060. Bill was a car dealer in Ashland (may still be). The only thing new in this is what I'm perceiving as the "teeth" to seize private property. I can remember being pulled over by an OHP years ago as, (I) "was approaching 55 mph". I was on the ramp by Norwalk accelerating to merge with the traffic on SR20. No shit Farnesworth, it's a ramp, they are designed and built to have you merge with the road traffic. So there ya are...one complete ass for whatever trips his trigger will pull some crap-knowing that the potential is to seize your vehicle(?). Got the I'm gonna let ya go statement. No shit again. Call Senators now!
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5NEnwp13g4 UP, just thinking next weekend is suppose to be nice. http://www.duc.nu/movies/ From this site....a whole bunch of vids for you to check out.
  8. Appreciate and Thanks, it most likely still IS, ...but stands as a WAS for me. Ain't there no mo-BUT I gotz lots of abusive stories-problee another string to be started. 60* so just back in...Yep, just when I see that it'd be great thru this turn - gravel.
  9. Saw this and the original opener....and thought....Welcome to our world. I always count on gravel at the worst possible moment and it pretty much is always where you don't want it. It's almost always on the inside of really tight turns. Cars/trucks dropping a wheel off and kicking stones and dirt onto the pavement. BUT>>> I had a supervisor that made a point to mention how he hated them sportbikes. Wanted to swerve into their lanes and talked of throwing rocks out as they flew by his house. I quit riding my bike to work as, Uh things seemed to happen to it while I was in working. I tried to park it where I could keep and eye on it, but someone reported me and the big brass said, "Must park out with the others." The parking area was next to the outside break area. I quit riding it as those cretins were perfectly cabable of finding a wrench and loosening something. I mean, if my Vette can get five flats in a month with puntures by the same kind of self-tapping screws used out on the floor. It became a nightly inspection before getting into the vehicle. Welcome to our world! So kzz and I will keep our tin foil hats!

    Buell

Yeah I did, but with the second pic....too bad. http://hellforleathermagazine.com/2009/11/buell-the-potential-and-the-fa.html
  11. there ya go an Ohio-Riders benefit and fund raiser to boot. Treasurer nominations? foot peg is drilled out now. Pic won't upload (what else is new?)
  12. Charging the battery for the digital camera - gonna get pictures for yer scrap book(s). There still should still be scratches on the pavement! Glad all okay. I now have an aluminum "foot peg" available. Just needs to be drilled out. It'll be here at the first aid station and it'll be lite enough to mail back into the woods for the next use!
  13. Found a place...the other half lives there: www.luxury4play.com Try to find the post on dream garages, see the digs for machines I'll can't afford. I liked the aviation pics too!
  14. Magazine article has them staying at Roscoe Village. Missed the Trib article (only get it once in awhile).
  15. I like it, even though I had already seen that-I won't beat ya down for your initiative. Beemer is stepping it up, EH? JRMiii lefta pearl for ya to smile at somewhere else on the bd....check yer electric contacts. Might be on the left one.
  16. I see it, and dunno as Beemer boys are hanging out there yet. I fwd'd them this, but problee not for them. If I do it'll be the lil' bike (Suzuki) as your looking to tires and I am looking at brake pads. I seem to need the brakes once in the while-perils of liter bike, I guess. I still got that unplugged or patched tire in my garage and a used Avon (I was guessing at 250 miles left on it though) :>) Your are welcome to them. It'll clean my garage a bit. If Garver will mount them for ya (he's the station in town-where I usually get my tires) then you're good. PM sent.
  17. Cool. AND JRMMiii - that hotel in the pic...is the dinner theater story of Sweeney Todd, meat pie-lily guy's place. I think he is just now talking to me again!
  18. Fall is here and that means the catalogs showing up in the mailbox. Is it too early for Christmas wish lists? Flipping thru a catalog and I see a reference to a magazine named, RoadRunner, Motorcycle Touring and Travel (www.roadrunner.travel) and they have useful articles - "Storing your bike for winter" AND then I see an article on Shamrock Tours. Surprise B-Day gift of tour for hubby (couple from Butler, PA)...and they was in the neighborhood....visited 9/23/09. I wonder where I was? Lotsa pictures and I smiled as I recognized spots pictured even before reading the caption. Helmick Covered Bridge, Malabar Farm, Mohawk Dam and good ole Roscoe Village. For you tecnologically advanced GPS download too! Article attached: Check out the site for pics- they found the great backroads (including the off road spots). Enjoy. We collaborated on choosing a home base for this shamrock (Coshocton, Ohio) and the riding areas, and we scheduled the trip for mid-June when the roads would be dried out from spring rains and all of the plant life would be in full bloom. GPS Coordinates Map: Download Coshocton Tour The Plain People (Day 1: NE Quadrant) Eastern Ohio is well known among many motorcyclists for its challenging two-lane tarmac, but fewer people know that
  19. I still like the story of the guy on a MotoGuzzi getting the speed camera ticket for doing 383 mph! Don't forget Zanesville has the red light cameras.
  20. Uh, yeah, I just dumped Facebook and all the other like sites, Flickr, MySpace, yadda, yadda. Too many Amber, Bambi, and especially Molly wanting to get in touch with me-as well as the letters arriving. See the post elsewhere on 10.8 million dollars and they want me for soccer, since I'm a premier player in the Akron area. Amazingly that the SPAM dropped from 40 per day to 4 maybe even 6. So not goin' to be back anytime soon on dem places. This site, went to pics and it lit up and I could post here, but it will only pull from those already on system and I can't get site to let me add anymore. They're such nice pics too. Wait for the DVD to be released!
  21. Ya want me to try and post pics up?!?!? Tried a while ago and NO more albums. I can create an album, but no uploads are possible - is there a max on album pics? If so, who wants what pics, in what albums before I dump any? That is of course; If you can, say, download a pic from somebody's album. I'll try at another tube site-as I am nomadic on the internet hook up spots and will see about actual load of pic to the forum section. As long as it's not raining or the wind blowing and I have enough kerosene for the lap top to run!
  22. Looks like I caught everyone before they headed out. I went out and poked around for about four hours or so anyway. 3PM it got up to 50*. Sunny all day long. Picture taking for the most part today. With leaves gone you can see thru the turns better. I was with two Harley guys for a bit of time in each direction. First one didn't last long. Sportster I think, and he had his 'Carhart' jacket, a matching, in color, stocking cap and glasses. No windscreen and bare face. 12 miles I think before he quit. Second guy full dresser and polo helmet. I think he said he was from Centerburg or Circleville. I ain't sure. He putted along a nice pace. Dusk I went out again, but only 20 miles out and then turned around....too many deer.
  23. Sorry to hear, but know the feeling. My roofing nail also a product of Columbus-I was down there and gas stop is where I saw it. 487 miles on tire and now another new one. So the debate is patch or not? I have a almost new tire (roofing nail still in it and an almost bald Avon (both rears)). So do put 'em in the yard and paint them white to stick flowers in ?
