hahaha...i don't see a big problem with the rubbermaid container since it is reinforced on the bottom with plywood...what i'm not seeing is any kinda of packing materials. you shoulda spent a few bucks at Wal-Mart and bought some cheap ass towels or blankets and stuffed that thing full.

JL is prolly the best you'll find in stores around the area, but they are by no means 'top end'. if you want 'top end' you'll have to go Rainbow, Focal, Adire, RE, JM Labs...most of these are for 'quality' bass, worthy of high end home theatre, but a few of them make monster speakers, like 12"ers that weigh 70+lbs.

gonna upgrade to an LCD monitor for my puter, prolly 19/20" depending on what kinda prices i can find. it'll be used mostly for gaming, and i'm not so sure which brands are still good when it comes to LCD. i would go to Best Buy or whatever just to look at them, but they usually look like crap after being run day in and day out, plus i'm gonna order from NewEgg or wherever and a lot of those brands aren't carried in local stores. anyways, are there any opinions? what should i be looking for, resolution, contrast ratio, and refresh rate? my friend just got an NEC that seems rather nice, decent price. i've heard to check out LG, which i dunno about...i personally have always had extremely good luck with Sony products, but never had their LCD's.

sounds like a problem with the RAM or some sort of compatibilty problem...i'd review your BIOS settings and look up your motherboards settings on their website...or just google your MB and look for some threads on parts ini your machine...you might find something useful. the machine i'm on now...it took me 2 weeks to realize my RAM settings needed to be changed within my BIOS. i searched forever and finally found some people with the same symptoms.

i drove to Kansas City to pick up the Viper....and bought my blue FD from San Diego sight unseen, although i didn't go get it...i had it shipped.

i saw the movie and thought is was very tasteful...considering it was an Oliver Stone movie...he's usually pretty brutal. anyways, i went in with the same attitude most of you are portraying, that i wasn't ready for a movie about 9/11 and they shouldn't have made this movie....blah blah blah. it didn't have much to do with the planes striking the towers like said above, it's called WTC if you don't remember the timeline of how everything happened the movie doesn't make much sense...it was a survival story but they were trying to show that good things happened that day too, how people can come together and actually help one another. they also donated 10% to the WTC Foundation for the first few opening days, which was a nice bonus that many people probably overlooked and would rather see Johnny Depp play a gay pirate. anywho, there's not much better at the movies now anyways, go see it, re-kindle your anger for terrorism. =P
