  1. Someone give the guy a cookie.
  2. Sorry Clay, I can't stand more than 4 seconds of these videos.
  3. In all seriousness, a drift car isn't setup much different than any circuit car.
  4. I'm surprised it took this long for someone to catch on... Night shift is boring.
  5. Maybe you're not getting what I mean by a GANG. Bosozoku is a BIKER GANG... you know, like Hells Angels?? These are the low-life people in Japan that will send you what's left of your wife and kids in a ricebox, after they put their bodies through a wood chipper. They operate through drugs, theft, vandalism, and being outright offensive, hence the ridiculous cars, obnoxious revving, and mob mentality. If Japan's police can't stop them, I'm positive you're not, with or without a weapon. They might look wimpy, retarded and pathetic, but I assure you... they give zero fucks about anyone else. Like I said, I'm shocked someone even took the risk of even documenting what they do and who they are, regardless of how vague they were being about what they actually do. This isn't the stuff you see played out in the movies.. it's real life. True... Bosozoku style is the idea that you're loud, offensive and ridiculous. That's why you see such crazy stuff when you google bosozoku cars. The one you posted isn't really Boso at all, but closer to what they call, "Yankee" style. But it all stems back from Bosozoku bikes, which at one point were simply out of control and terrorizing Japan. As an American in japan, if they saw you driving around a Bosozoku style car or bike, you'd likely get your ass kicked or killed... the true gangs would be very offended. It's not something you can just do. Didn't you live in Japan for a good period of time? I'm sure you're speaking from experience.
  6. I'm with you... even if you fucked with one gang member, you better expect the rest of them will find you. The Police can't even stop them, and some people here think they have nothing to fear lol.
  7. I'm not sure where this is at but it does look crazy.. the Tron-like music makes the vibe of the video all the more interesting. The Pano of the city where they all cross the bridge is amazing.
  8. Now, what everyone is missing is that people like this, are actually pretty dangerous. You're looking at part of Japan's gangbangers. I wouldn't go as far as saying the actual Yakuza, but I would never suggest making fun of them if you cross their path. The real bosozoku biker gangs are nothing to mess with despite how ridiculous and absurd they appear. This video is very interesting to watch because I'm shocked someone would even take a chance to get involved in a group of very questionable people. Also, while learning about their culture around bosozoku, I've read stories of Americans in Japan with nice cars having everything they own taken at gunpoint by groups like this. To them you're not welcome on their land, especially not with a nice car or property. There's even word going around that it is basically forbidden that an American own the older 70's "Kenmari" Skylines in their motherland. How much of that is true is uncertain, but seeing how grey area and questionable these gangbangers in Japan can be, I guess nothing is impossible. Awful cars and bikes, but very interesting perspective to watch.
  9. "Style is personal, fun is universal. That's what you need to embrace before watching this film. Morohoshi-san is living between the lines, somewhere in that gray section. Mixing with the undesirables and modifying his Lamborghini in ways most of us would never dream of doing. His style is unique and questionable but one things for sure, he's too busy having fun to care what you think! And that's truly what makes him a cool character."
  10. Okay, I'm not going to say anything mean.... but seriously. LOOK AT THE PICTURE YOU POSTED. There's nothing real about it.
  11. Well, I have a good friend in Florida who has been wrapping cars professionally for about 5-6 years now. He primarily sticks to 3M products, but there are times he will use other products at the request of the customer. I had a car that was 3M wrapped by him spring of 2012 and by end of the year I was removing it for various reasons. The biggest issue I found was the fact that over time the wrap will continually shrink due to heat/sun. This means edges will begin to lift and small seams you carefully molded the wrap to, will also lift. The vinyl itself is incredibly easy to take care of, but 3M's estimated life expectancy of the vinyl is overstated. I never had this issue, but he said depending on color, he's seen people come back in 1-2 years to have their car re-wrapped due to odd discoloration and staining... even mold. He makes each of his customers sign a waiver stating that he isn't liable for any damage to paint due to the application of vinyl, and I understood why once I tried to remove mine- It's awful. I spent many hours trying to peel away vinyl off my car, which left me with raw and bloody fingers. There's no easy way other than patience. I found out that the car had been repainted at one point because the vinyl pulled the paint entirely off the hood and fender of my car. The rest of the original single stage paint had some etching in areas, otherwise it was fine. In my opinion and for what it's worth... never again. Not worth the cost or trouble. A lot of people have better experiences, but I can't suggest people wrap their car with my personal experience.

  14. Good work so far, but you'll regret it greatly in the near future. You'll see why.
  15. Doubting the Fox could even keep up, that thing is ridiculous.
  16. Indoor climbing wall. 5.12 is a climbing rating which is 'very difficult' on the scale of things. I was right around 5.10b/c before I stopped climbing daily, and not sure I could really get myself back to that point without being completely dedicated again. The core, leg, arm and finger strength it takes to accomplish something like that is immense. Ryan, shoot me a PM, I'd love to have a climbing partner I can go with regularly. Assuming you're up at Vertical adventures?
  17. Friendly reminder: Re-rack your weights, faggots.
  18. love you :dumb: but for real, what happened? that's pretty intense, and I'm glad nothing happened to your daughter.
