  1. You aren't going to get something custom made for anywhere near that $500...you better take that one and run.
  2. You have to pay to play!
  3. It's not worth the hassle to use something as small as a t-25, but what do I know.
  4. Wheel Medic - 299-9866 I believe it's crazy expensive to have a wheel repaired. Probably cheaper to buy a new one, but give them a call.
  5. -Could be many things. Bad relay, bad combination switch, blown fuse, bad wiper motor. -Bad combination switch -Blown fuse, bad wiring or bad antenna motor/mast/tube -Bad tie rod ends.
  6. Sounds like you need a clutch.

    Turbo help...

Not to be a pessimist, but there is no way you will get all of that done in a week.
  8. Weld it shut. I don't know of an epoxy that would work nor would I want to try it that way. #1 reason for broken cars = people not doing things right! smile.gif
  9. A T25 is much too small. If he is making a junkyard turbot kit he needs to get a 14b from a 1g DSM to make it worthwhile. The motor can handle 7psi fine, just make sure he does something for fuel managment.
  10. Try putting the car in neutral and rolling it backwards or forwards a couple feet. You can also try tapping the starter with a hammer.
  11. Too much or too little timing can raise the EGT's. I'm not sure what you're setup is, but put a wideband on it and tune the A/F with timing stock or slightly retarded. When your A/F's are tuned, move onto timing. Advance timing until EGT's go up.
  12. Can you elaborate on what competitions you want to enter?
  13. Probably a bad turn signal combination switch.
  14. Yes, the 97 SHO camshafts are notorious for breaking where the camgear bolts to the cam. Many people have the camgear welded to the camshaft to prevent this from happening.
  15. Unless you are VERY mechanically inclined and have money, or have a LOT of money....don't bother. You would have to get a right hand drive front clip, and convert everything over to the left hand drive car. You could a) weld the two halves together or b) make holes for the steering column, pedal assembly, transplant the left hand drive dash, rewire the dash/instrument cluster...and that's just to start.
  16. Where are you getting your information? All of the online sources say it's 10.4:1, including the hybrid honda site which is one of the oldest on the internet. Just wondering. tongue.gif
  17. Says the guy that got his wheel bearings replaced for free. [ 18. January 2004, 08:54 PM: Message edited by: the Man With No Name ]
  18. "Best" is subjective. The B16A1 is the easiest and cheapest engine to swap into a CRX. It was available in the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) 90-91 Civic/CRX SiR. This 10.4:1 compression ratio DOHC Vtec motor makes 160bhp @ 7600rpm and 111 lb-ft @ 7000rpm. It has a redline of 8200rpm. It can make good power with bolt-ons and cams, will rev over 9000rpm with valve springs and the internals are very strong if you want to go the forced induction route. A later generation of this engine was available in the 99-00 Civic Si, but the relative heaviness of the car prevented it from reaching it's performance potential. However, the CRX will not have that (weight) problem! IMO, the B16a1 will always be the best swap for the 88-91 CRX/Civic! smile.gif
  19. Turn on your headlights, if they are a lot more dim than usual you have a bad battery.
  20. I can do the job for you, not for free though. I've done Supra wheel bearings before.
  21. IPS Motorsports will be having an exhaust special for the month of February. Purchase any exhaust for your 2000 or newer vehicle and installation is free! smile.gif
  22. If you just want powdercoating, drop me a PM.
