  1. Though I've never been out of the country, there are other places I'd rather visit first (Australia comes to mind first). I'd like to visit some countries w/ rainforest and such too. I just don't get into a lot of that "old world" stuff. By "no real interest" I don't mean I'd turn down a free trip to Europe. Rather, there are other places I'd rather go before setting foot there (among those are a number of places in the US). My difficulity w/ foreign languages, something I've always struggled w/ learning, probably has a bit to do with it too.
  2. Because running into them would damage your car and drive your insurance rates up.
  3. You probably couldn't get it to destroy my Moostang. tongue.gif
  4. - Trying to get someone to race in the start of a construction zone KNOWN for having cops in it is fucking stupid.....especially when there was supposed to be night work going on tonight. - Even if I was stupid enough to race, you'd be beating a near stock, 200k+ mile Moostang that probably cost less than your turbo setup - If that hitting the gas next to me through a gear was all it has, sorry about your investment - Yes, I was ignoring you when you were just driving directly next to me when we entered said construction zone w/ my cruise control on, and yes I gave you the jerk off sign when you showed off your BOV. Sorry, not impressed. Car in question was a silver Integra, the oh-so mandatory black rims w/ polished lip, looked like clear front corners, your usual farty exhaust but wasn't too loud
  5. Am I the only person that has no real interest in going to Europe?
  6. You should send that video to her parents. smile.gif
  7. Depends if you can daily drive it.....that's what these cars are good for.
  8. Watch the size of the box. When I sold my catback, I took two large boxes and turned them into one. Had ANY of my box dimensions been a single inch larger, neither FedEx or UPS would have taken it (already too large for USPS). So measure the box and weigh it beforhand, look up the shipping on it, just to make sure you aren't wasting a trip to ship it out and not be able to.
  9. Use the gift certificate, and use it PROUDLY. The last thing you need some broad thinking is that you are just another meal ticket. Seriously. People always diss going to a movie on a first date, but I personally feel it is a good idea. Arrive about an hour before the movie, then dinner afterwords. Why??? - Allows you to talk some and get the initial converstaion stuff out of the way, but not long enough to get too deep into conversation or too personal, etc. Basically, enough time to flirt a little and have fun. - Movie time is critical. If you can't at least get the hand holding and arm around the chick in the movie, you are done. If it's all going well, at an appropriate movie time (basically, slow part of a movie), slipping a kiss in there is always a nice touch. - Dinner afterwords. You have the movie to talk about, and now she is still excited about the physical activity....you can let the evening go on from there. Worked for me; 2 and a half years later I'm still with her, and we had a similar date (and the movie was even a shitty date movie....Femme Fatal).

    Paypal scam

If you go to the original source website, it's actually an asian school, lol. The log in's not only pretend to log you in, then try to get CC info as well. With a little more work, they really could have made this look real.
  11. Well, I've only kept up w/ it on the LT1 T56 side of it. They over a single disc, which no one really ever buys. The Street Twin is what the big boys run.....period. It's THE clutch to have; costs a fortune, but gets the job done right, and is supposed to be very streetable. Only problems I've ever seen is you have to helicoil the bolt hole for the shift fork, as the tension can rip it out of the tranny. That's pretty much it. As for other cars, I can't really comment.
  12. Hmmmm, I need to get my hair cut. Any exact info on this place (link, or info on hours and address). I'm all for a massage of any sort.
  13. That's not going to hold any serious power.....Stage III will, Stage II isn't really designed to. Buddy's dad's blown C5 making mid 400's w/ a Stage II, and it's slipping at Norwalk when he made some passes in it; everything professionally installed too, and not a ton of miles on it either, nor any sticky tires. Being a Stage III Carbon owner (there are different versions of the stage III), I can say I'm less than impressed with Spec. I'm on my second clutch w/ them, only because we had another laying around in the garage Tommy (GRN96WS6) gave us, as my first wore the pucks down in under 10k miles and the disc spring retainers broke. SPEC is full of excuses and promises too. I'm sure eventually this clutch will go too, though it's holding fine for now, then off to do it right once and for all w/ a $1000 McLeod Street Twin.
  14. I'd never let any of my friends be put into a situation like that. His friends are the real bitches.
  15. When are they going to stop tossing that rice wing on the STi's?? The gold rims need to go too. Hell, make it a 2-door, no rice wing, normal hoodscoop, non-rice wheels, fix the nose, de-sticker it, and I might actually slightly want one.
  16. I think the house across the street for me is still for rent. Last tenants moved out, and no one have moved in for a couple of months. Seen the landlords doing some cleaning/fixing up, as the last people trashed the inside from what I hear. 3 bed split, 2 car attached.

  18. BTW, this Jackie person made a wasted trip. She could have just gave Tina the membership number and AAA 800# over the phone; didn't need the car. That's how Tim got his car Honduh back here after the distributor took a crap on it. They never ask for the card.
  19. When has the Crown Vic ever been "sporty?"
  20. Dexter, my 15 year old, 110lb Black Lab mix (has a bit of Shepard in him). Best dog ever. http://www.cofba.org/users/nitrousbird/Dexter/Sitting%20and%20smiling.jpg http://www.cofba.org/users/nitrousbird/Dexter/Under%20the%20tree.jpg http://www.cofba.org/users/nitrousbird/Dexter/Ears%20propped%20up.jpg
  21. Yeah, another "stunter" that will probably claim this on his insurance, and help cause sport bike insurance to go up even more.

    New to CR

Putting other peoples' car in your sig is the gayness. Seriously.
  23. As an owner of one, I can say excluding the power of the 03-04 Cobra, they are inferior to their GM counterpart. smile.gif
