  1. My company vehicle, a 1-wheel peel 06 F-150 SUCKS in the snow. New tires, 300lbs in the very back, and I almost didn't make it up a hill due to some slow jackass who decided to go slow down the previous hill and carried that speed over going up the next one. Of course his FWD car made it up no problem. It also got stuck in my unplowed driveway. Oh well, we took my wife's quad out and played in the snow for a while (I haven't repaired the damage on mine yet).
  2. Price range is what I mean. A 40k car may be very affordable for some people, while a 20k car may be unaffordable to someone else. The range varies greatly.
  3. I interview a lot of people...it's a good sign.
  4. Good...I will be listing a home for sale in a few weeks - hopefully it will sell due to all the money floating around! Household income. Two people making 44k each = 88k.
  5. Usage: 5600 gallons, 35 days. Del-Co Water Specs: - 2003 built home - 2 adults (my wife and I). During time period, she was gone 15 of those days. I was gone 2 of them. Daily showers when there, of course. - Appliances all 7 months old - Whirlpool Gold dishwasher, Frigidaire front loader high efficency washing machine. Rarely hand-wash dishes. - Normal clothes washing - each of us probably does 2-3 loads/week. Maybe less. Easily less while my wife was gone. - No water leaks anywhere. No pooled water around the house, no faucets leaking, nadda. No signs of water useage that we don't mean to use. - Home humidifier in the furnace, but that's doesn't use much water. - Showers only, no baths. No car washing, power washing, nothing...it's winter! - We don't leave the water running when brushing our teeth. Sometimes take a long shower. House has pretty average water pressure. In comparison, my empty Reynoldsburg house, water is billed evey 3 months, and billed per 1000 gallons. From Oct-Dec (no one living there), I used 1000 gallons. I had also power washed the whole house and the roof (several hours of power washing), and have a dripping faucet. Also did a crap ton of painting there, so probably a couple hours worth total of water running to clean paint supplies. For the life of me I can't figure out how we used 5x that much at home in 1/3 the amount of time.
  6. LOL @ 360 owners who enjoy having their system in for repair 1/3 of the time they own it. How's that HD-DVD working out for you?
  7. I wouldn't want anything to do with it, and it is ugly as fuck, but there is no denying it IS a collectable car, and will be worth a lot of money many years from now.
  8. That car is pretty easily/cheaply fixable looks wise.
  9. Input - there are several brands of electric cutouts out there, just buy off the shelf. Hell, I have one I can sell you.
  10. Nice. But 135k? I'll take a ZR1 instead.

    Turbotax

I've used Turbotax every year since I started filing tax returns in 1995. Hasn't done me wrong yet. I haven't even bothered getting it yet, since I know I haven't got all our tax crap in yet.
  12. We had our one year last September. We went here: http://www.grandsirenisrivieramaya.com/ Last minute deals can many times get you to these places uber cheap. We got a super deal when we went, and the place was pretty decent.
  13. Garaged with the cover on it. I won't touch it until spring.
  14. IMO, that seems like top-dollar for a T-type.
  15. Some years yes, some years no. 4th Gens = all yes; same drivetrains, many swappable parts, different interior/exterior looks. 3rd Gens = about the same, excluding the Firehawks and 89 TTA (alright, the 3rd Gen Firehawks were all Formulas, but same comparison) 2nd Gens = most drivetrains were different. 1st Gen TA's = worth a fortune for a reason. Different drivetrains.
  16. There is no juggling of the Avalanche...I have a company vehicle - the Av mostly just gets driven on the weekends. She is careful enough to get around on all-seasons, I'm sure. She is from a place that gets a hell of a lot more snow than we do here, where EVERYONE has snow tires. Her last car was FWD w/ shitty tires and no ABS, and she never had an accident with it. The soft sidewall issue is the only thing that worries me about the Conti's. How good is their warranty? And no Kuhmos. Had a set on the Formula...wore more quickly than my Nitto Drag Radials did.
  17. Dear ROAR, The old Cooper Stadium is in a shit-hole area NEXT TO TWO FREEWAYS THAT HAVE CONSTANST, HEAVY TRAFFIC. This is not going to hurt property values. Signed, Anyone with common sense.
  18. You = winner. If people want to be gay, why do you have a problem with it? Perhaps you are in the closet?
  19. Back to this tire thing again. Somehow she has gotten away with not replacing the tires yet, but I want to get it done very soon. She has decided on All-Season, since she was able to get around okay even on her worn set of tires in some light snow. Car is sporting the stock Goodyear Eagle LS2 tires...considered another set because I could take the spare and use it as one tire, and just buy 3...saving the best of the current tires as the spare. I keep reading rave reviews (especially from Audi owners) of the Continental ExtremeContact DWS. Has a high tread rating, and people are saying it is doing great in the snow. Price is quite right too (I can get 4 of those for the same price as 3 LS2's). Some soft sidewall complaints, but mostly with folks with large sidewall sizes (SUV owners and such). Anyone have any experience with these specific tires? The high reviews are hard to overlook.
  20. No I didn't. Can't vote on it when I don't live where my property is located. Want to go key my car or kick my dog too? Like the property tax + school income tax isn't enough. Hopefully I'll have the joint sold before then.
  21. Drive a truck that has wheels/tires that can handle hitting a pot hole (meaning not rolling on 24" rims). I've hit a bunch this year, no biggie.
  22. I've never heard of this service. I'm sure there is a reason for that.
  23. No booze (which was one of our most expensive things). Married on a Sunday. Married in Lancaster (looks like a nice place from the pics, but I'm sure cost a lot less). No church/chapel. I'm betting you didn't buy the dresse and tuxes for everyone in your party. I'm betting your photographer was less expensive.
