  1. If you could rig up something similar that draws through the carb instead of being a blow-through, you'll likely have no issues with the carb itself. I have seen some aftermarket and even OEM draw through centrifugal supercharger or turbo systems (albeit not lately). I think J.R. Granatelli had a centrifugal supercharged fox-body back in the day that was draw-through. Maybe you could borrow some design cues from those applications.
  2. You might be able to get a basic Mossberg Pump for that. They're pretty good quality for the price. Honestly, I wouldn't fear a used Remington 870 in decent shape. They'll last forever if cared for at all, and you might have better luck striking a deal on something used.
  3. I beleive it's called Famous Jacks Diner or Jack's Famous Diner (I always get it jumbled). Their chili is some of the best I've had anywhere.
  4. The truck stop on 23 S? I think that place offers gravy as a topping for anything. I never felt their food was very tasty. Cheap and greasy for sure, though.
  5. For the lost in time feel I've heard Hamburger Inn is good also (although I have never been). I can definitely vouch for Ben & Joy's in Mt. Sterling. Any time I go to Deer Creek I try to go early enough to get some breakfast there. Home fries>*
  6. He intends to share his music and such over the net. We talked about it for a few minutes the other day. FTP was mentioned, but I think he would prefer to be able to stream audio right from the box. I then found out it's like a 400mhz PII and I am not so sure that will work very well for streaming.

  8. Skynard! ...maybe not really... just amazed no one beat me to it...

  10. I saw them last year in Columbus. It's definately a good show, even if you're not really into Christmas music.
  11. - Nearly anything by Trans Siberian Orchestra - "Santa's a Fat Bitch" by ICP Edit: Link added for grins...
  12. Same here. I close on the 13th and then have to move all my crap. Everyone's getting coal from me b/c I'm about to be poor for a couple of months.
  13. I looked at some stuff there a few months back when I was thinking of buying a new DD. I really didn't get very far because I got kind of an odd feeling like I was buying a car from Sam's Club or something. It just felt very impersonal. From what I can tell it's strictly "here's what we have on the shelf and what it costs" and that's it. I prefer the normal haggling approach because at least I feel like I negotiated something better (althuogh I doubt that's really so). After speaking to a salesperson for a few minutes, I was out.
  14. These are a good bit more expensive than sand, but mighty handy: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product2_10001_10002_759629_-1?source=home&coll=item869-LW0036&pos=9 I almost bought a 2WD truck recently and one of those was definately on the list. In the end, I couldn't part with the Cherokee Type R B-Spec

  16. Agreed - A little dash of DeLorentis will do ya.
  17. Ben, I'd try poking around some of the military or antique sections on GunsAmerica (think Gun eBay). There's alot of photos you could use for refference. http://www.gunsamerica.com/
  18. Could be a 7.62x54R like the Mosin Nagant (similar rifle from the early 1900s). It's a good bit longer and uses a rimmed case.
  19. Zane: Dig race - Me vs. You (to 55mph, in a field at first heavy snowfall) Bring it
  20. Hard to say from the pics, but at first glance I was also thinking early Mauser. I'm not sure about the #34. I think they did a model 34 but I thought it was a pistol. I'm not really up on the older stuff though. So in short, I have nothing to add except I would have guessed Mauser also.
  21. So, thee guy wants a hearse. I get it... but the wording and structure just sounds really creepy. Makes me wonder why he wants a hearse. Maybe its just the whole "return the favor" part that makes it creepy. Darn Ashville-ians (I used to be one) http://columbus.craigslist.org/car/486755503.html WANTED: Hearse Reply to: sale-486755503@craigslist.org Date: 2007-11-22, 11:50PM EST I've been looking for a hearse everywhere and I cannot find one.
