  1. I often ponder if it would be worth the prison time to steal... I'd probably run out of fuel before I got very far anyway.
  2. Choose wisely. Quiet doesn't always equal slow. This car is dead silent. If I didn't know any better I'd wonder if it was a V6 powered clone when it drives by at lower RPMs. http://www.modernmustangmuscle.com/images/granatellisaleenmustang.jpg http://www.modernmustangmuscle.com/features/granatellisaleenmustang.html
  3. That's "Faget" (fah-jay) - French for stop... or is that "Pause" (pah-usay)? Sorry... had to pile on... I'm an :asshole:
  4. Yeah, I hated my MACs for that reason only. I got a smokin' deal on them or I would have bought the BBKs.
  5. I thought that and tried some manifold gaskets in a pinch one time on my Fox... I had Mac Long tubes and they leaked badly even when I sliightly overtorqued the bolts. I don't know if it's something about the material (metal mesh stuff with a composite facing material) or just the way they're made to be used in conjunction with the manifolds (larger surface area, so I thought it'd still seal???)... but they definately leaked. Bolt pattern is the same, yes. Problem went away after I swapped on actual header gaskets.
  6. I bet it still gets pretty awesome mileage.
  7. You'll want to get an actual header gasket, not a manifold gasket. It's the same head you'll find on 87-93 Mustang (and others I'm sure). EDIT:That's assuming this is an application with a factory header (like the Mustang). If it has cast iron manifolds, you likely will need a manifold gaskets, just be mindful of the port size to make sure its not blocking the port exit. Agreed on the Percy's. FelPro and Mr. Gasket Ultra-Seal work fairly well for cheap (just keep the bolts tight to avoid blowouts), but if it's in the budget, the Percy's will be the last ones you need to buy.
  8. My plan is to one day return to the Plains.
  9. True Story. A near-ninety degree in the inlet tube is a worthwhile trade-off as it is larger in diameter to begin with, so that even in the bend it is as least as large in cross section as the TB.
  10. Next, we can bring back the right to arm bears! http://designsbymike.info/images5/retroranger2267395.jpg Seriously though, they're on the right track. On to page eleventy.
  11. Posting for a friend. It's in good shape and tastefully modded. 1995 Mustang GTS One of 847 made 5-Speed Transmission 86,000 miles Crystal White with grey cloth interior Manual windows and door locks A/C Works Great Car runs and drives well. Paint is in OK shape. Interior is clean. Has normal wear for a 13 year-old car. The intake has been converted to a Fox-Body upper with emissions (still intact). 12. Updated Price - Now $1500 Firm. If you're looking to get your camp on this summer and go anywhere regardless of the weather, you need this. Come and drive it away or I may decide I need 2 (which I don't).
  13. I don't know the details and I don't know the guy that did it, but scared or not, you don't flee the scene - ever. Even if it was a totally innocent accident, it's going to be hard as hell to for him to fight this rap. I have hit a pedestrian. Damn near killed him. I immediately thought "there's no way I'm not going to be in trouble for this", but I didn't drive off. At fault or not, that's jacked up.
  14. Yeah... Throw in some mint or bannana flavor and you've got: Big Ox http://www.overstock.com/Sports-Toys/Big-Ox-Flavored-Oxygen-Power-Up-Canisters/2345031/product.html I think they're already out of business... so it didn't work for them.
  15. That's awesome. Those are "vintage" now because they still have the apostrophe. I should email the guy to let him know so he can add that to the listing info... Selling free decals - This is how I will make my fortune
  16. While I have had decent luck with over-the-counter solutions, I agree with everyone saying have a doctor check you out first to make sure its not something more serious. In my case the first couple of migraines I had scared me because I get "Auras" and got really sick the second time (nausea). I hadn't been to a doctor in 13 years prior, but I went 3 hours after having my second migraine. He asked alot of questions and explained what little they know about controlling them. He then prescribed Imitrex and said that it may not be the best for me, but it's where we'd start. Immediately following my visit he wanted me to have my teeth checked out (possible cause) and if that wasn't the issue he wanted to do a CAT scan as well to rule out the tumor possibility. Luckily, I haven't had one in about 8 months now, so I haven't been back. Every time I read about someone finding out they have a tumor it makes me think I should go get a cat scan anyway, just to be sure.
  17. Your wife is an OG, doesn't that get you in?
  18. At times when I find I need my Excedrin and don't have any, I have subtituted with my own cocktail of Tylenol, Asprin and a large dose of caffeine. Then if I can, I try to get somewhere completely devoid of light and noise and sleep it off, as mentioned above.
  19. Caffeine helps take the edge off for me, but makes it worse for some. Excedrin actually works almost as well as my prescriprion Imitrex and doesn't make me nauseated (or more nauseated than migraines sometimes make me on their own, anyway)
  20. Cows. Lots of them, and their poo. Maybe that's their problem. They need to eat more cows.
  21. Yeah, I don't understand caffeine-free Mt Dew or N/A Beer either. [Mitch Hedberg] "Butter is way better than Margarine. Don't believe the hype" [/Mitch Hedberg]
  22. I found that I do have both high level input harnesses (it has both a front and rear set), the remote gain control knob with cord and the brackets for horizontal mounting... The complete package. The only thing I couldn't find was the manual, but it's downloadable at the link above. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v691/twistedfocus/SubStuff.jpg
  23. I still have to box, and I think it still has the harness in it. Ive got to dig the box out and I'll let you know. I have been running it off RCAs, so I never used that harness.
  24. This is about 3 years old, but in very good shape. Before having it in my Jeep for a while it was in my Mustang that I rarely drove, so it really hasn't even been played much. It's nice and compact with alot of output for it's size. Here's a pic of it in the Jeep: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v691/twistedfocus/4.jpg I can take other pics if needed, but it's basically like any of them you see on Google. It's barely even got any dirt on it because it normally is covered up with a pillow case. Specs: Dimensions: (H x W x D) 14-1/2" x 12-1/2" x 8" Power Output: 200W RMS Frequency Response: (±3dB)20Hz - 120Hz Variable Bass EQ: +3dB to -6dB at 45Hz Variable Electronic Crossover: 50Hz - 120Hz More here: http://www.infinitysystems.com/car/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=BASSLINK&cat=BSL&ser=BSL&Language=ENG&Country=US&Region=USA
  25. Agreed, although it makes me wonder how bad it must have gotten the years before for them to come up with this idea. If you instate ridiculous penalties for ridiculous behavior, maybe it will cause people to think a little - even if it's BS. The ninety warnings on everything I buy saying things like "Don't stick this in your eye" are there for a reason too... but you know someone has probably done it anyway.
