  1. It's a plastic/metal plug (probably gray) that fits in the brown harness to the right of the TFI module. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v691/twistedfocus/photo.jpg
  2. Anyone have an extra one laying around? Mine's missing and my jumper wire solution sucks. I can post a pic of what it is if it's unclear.
  3. Is this the one that Niel had? Nice ride. GLWS.
  4. Yes, Apple's site makes the plans much clearer from what I hear. I'd order from there because of the goofy wording on ATT's site makes me feel uneasy even though they assure me I'm still good. As far as I can tell you can just keep on carrying the unlimited data with you as long as you stay on a smart phone and never trade down to a lower plan. Once it's gone you won't get back in.
  5. They have a message that they require a change in your data plan, but the default plan just says "iPhone data plan". It doesn't say unlimited but it's $30 just like mine is now, so I went with it. Apparently that is the correct selection. All of the other options were obviously not what I wanted (200MB, 2 & 4Gig).
  6. ...so it appears they are working on re-wording their site regarding the unlimited data plan. They say that if you don't change your plan during checkout you are actually just carrying over the existing "grandfathered" unlimited plan. It doesn;t say shit about it being unlimited though, leading myself and others to suspect fuckery. Time will tell, but I feel better.
  7. Did either of you get swindled out of your unlimited data with the vague shady shit they pulled on their website? I'm on hold with CS right now to find out for sure. Apparently if you order on Apple's website it's no problem. For some reason I assumed my carrier would be less likely to rob me.
  8. That's the other thing making me want to stick with what I have. This has standard Fel-Pros (1011-2) and ARP bolts. It would probably work for modest boost on the turbo setup too, but I'm probably to anal to take the risk. I can always make a simple swap way more complicated and expensive. :dumb:
  9. Tires are a couple of years old and had been used briefly but are still in pretty good shape. Still pretty soft and have plenty of life left. Actual pics to follow, but it's basically just like this: http://www.jegs.com/images/photos/500/522/522-17400QTP.jpg http://www.jegs.com/i/Hoosier/522/17415QTP/10002/-1?parentProductId=746905 $250 for the pair
  10. Don't be fooled by MPs alone. The iPhone4 is "only" 5MP and it takes pretty amazing photos for a phone. I have seen a bunch of phones with 8MP or so cameras that consistently take shitty photos.
  11. Yeah, the factory plug was all corroded to shit so I spliced in a new one when I swapped them out (or tried swapping at least). I may look into it some more. I'd hate to see the thing burn to the ground. Powerdynes are nearly silent. If I take the Powerdyne off it's going turbo and will whine plenty then.
  12. I got the JEGS 100amp direct fit upgrade alternator. It was cheap. As for the internal blower belt, the car made boost the couple of times I have driven it. So it's intact apparently (so far :fa:). Valid point though. If the blower wasn't spinning I'd imagine that would cause it to run like ass. It actually runs fairly well right now in spite of itself.
  13. Well, even though I was absolutely sure I was just going to rip off the SC and go turbo right away I think I need to sort some other shit out first. I found the car had an old Pro-flo MAF (shitty modified stock housing) and a tiny air filter cobbled on the end of it. Not only that, but the reason it ran so rich at idle is that MAF is dead. It ran the exact same with the MAF unplugged. I upgraded all that last night. It now has a Ligthning MAF (custom chip in the ECU to work correctly) with a huge filter. I'm surprised at how well all of that fits in the fender. It also needed an alternator and one of the bolts broke off in the damn bracket, so I'm fighting with that so that I can get it back on the road to finish out the tune. :fuuuu:
  14. I might need the TB. I need to take the SC inlet off tonight to change plugs and I suspect mine is either stock or a 65mm. Edit: would you consider selling the 42lb injectors separately?
  15. Yeah, just found that. I'm not surprised. I figured there had to be at least one thing they would make exclusive to the new device to make people want to upgrade. Next JB that comes around will probably allow you to add Siri. :lolguy: I don't need it but it does sound neat. I won't buy a new phone to get it though.
  16. So, since the whole world is on Apple's site right now, did anyone catch if there are any features that are exclusive to the 4S, or should I expect to receive the same shit with iOS5 (albeit at a slower speed because of hardware differences)?
  17. That's the part I don't get - the next phone is the next phone regardless of what they call it. Next year's phone will be an incremental upgrade just as all of it's predecessors were. I'll be holding on to my iP4 but we're definitely going to upgrade the wife's phone from a 3G to this. The 4 would be fine for her, but it looks like this will certainly be worth the extra hundred bucks. If I was smart, I'd get the 4S for me and giver my 4... :fa:
  18. Why is everyone all "this upgrade sucks, they f-ed up this time"? This is no different than 3G to 3GS. This is the same as every year, even if they called it "iPhone 19 Advanced with Quattro and Bacon". It's an incremental upgrade from the last one. Too much change and the early adopters cry that they got left behind, not enough and everyone cries anyway. So I can understand they have to fall somewhere in the middle where there are the fewest amount of hipsters crying onto their popped collars.
  19. 6500. Seller claimed 406 wheel, but has no doumentation. It does have Edelbrock heads, intake, B cam, longtubes, etc but that sounds optimistic to me. I was basically going for the solid body and fresh engine (supposedly Eagle rotating assembly)
  20. Well, the search is over. I bought a car today. I probably overpaid for it but it is a solid car and has some potential. It needs some small things including a hood repaint to make it actually match. I'm not a big Powerdyne fan, so that will probably be for sale soon but I may just go have Brian tune it and leave it alone. It's rich as fuck right now at idle. I suspect the FMU is for 19lb injectors and it has 24s on it. It has been converted to MAF.
  21. Very nice, but I'm ill-equipped to be installing engines and such in my current garage space. It's a nice ass roller though. Also, I have a purchase pending on a Coupe. I'm going for the test-drive tomorrow. :fuckyeah: I'm probably going to spend too much on it, but it's a really solid car. :fa:
