  1. Cool, I'm not sweating a few minutes here or there, but It just sucks to be staled for half an hour waiting on people. Plus it's completely understandable why you might be late. Some people seem to show up late just because... they don't own a watch, don't care, take three hours to shower, I don't know?
  2. It couldn't hurt. I'm sure DJ will bring his set of 600 chips, but there's no saying how many people will actually show up. I talked to Jon just now because I wasn’t sure when everything was starting and he said around 7. I'll prob. show a bit early to help setup everything. If you're coming please be there on time. It sucks to say we are starting around 7 and we don't get started until 8 because of a few slackers. See you guys there then. graemlins/thumb.gif A word to the wise; don't drink the drinks I'm making unless you want to take a cab home. [ 23. March 2005, 03:23 PM: Message edited by: Neo ]
  3. Seth, should I try to explain HiYa to them? Drinking Jenga is really fun. You can start out sober and everyone is usually feeling really good by half way through the second game. Football is a favorite of mine too. Seth, we used to play to 100 at Grandmas.

    no show

Yup, that's pretty much the way it works. The old people on here that talk shit have contributed positively to this site (some of them alot) and almost always have at least personally meet the people they are talking shit to. I don't think anyone will deny that the shit talking on here only contributes negatively, except for maybe for a little amusement. But when someone hasn't done a single positive thing for this site or anyone on it and has done nothing but shit talk to people they have never meet, it's pretty annoying and usually speaks volumes about the person character.
  5. I'd keep myself out of shock long enough to pull those scissors out and stab that guy with them. But seeing it happen to someone else is just funny.

    jesse....

I know I'm older than everyone in this thread except for the guy that's like 49 and maybe Chris, but I think I have him beat too. So you can all lick my taint. Especially you streetlight.

    jesse....

Actually I know I don't really have to worry about anyone in this thread with my sister because they only like men, farm animals, and shampoo bottles.

    jesse....

I'm going to kill all of you.
  9. Jen's not lying. I saw Eric yesterday pulling into a gas station near my house so I stopped in and said hi. He was saying that the mesh gloves were a little cold, my car said it was 39 out. Bike looks very nice in person also btw. graemlins/thumb.gif
  10. Who did I nut swing off of? I could care less whom you are attacking in that fashion, it's just annoying and no one else cares. You won't ever see me post in any of your other threads because I don't care that much. I'm sick of seeing useless trash in EVERY thread that either you or John post in because the other person has to interject with more useless bullshit. This goes for both of you. It just seems like you are begging the aggressor of the situation and John is willing to drop it, so I directed this post more towards you. Nut Swinger #1... Irony at it's best.
  11. 'Peace officers' are legally allowed to use deadly force on an attacker with a knife that is within 21feet of them (in Ohio IIRC). The guys who taught my class (both officers with ~30 years experience) suggested that’s a good guideline. A nimble, or quick, person can cover 21 feet in just a few seconds. FYI.
  12. That is still assault with a deadly weapon, as is 'just' pistol whipping someone, not even firing the gun. You'll still be visiting bubba for protecting your property with a deadly weapon. Walk out with a baseball bat with the gun concealed, and then if they come at you in a manner in which you truly believe your life is being threatened, get the gun out (btw, this is still a felony because of the gun on you, but this is what I would personally do). If you are not within the limits of the law and lie about it and they find out, you are fucked in court. Better to be within the limits and tell the truth about it, it might not even go to a criminal court case. I can almost guarantee it will go to a civil case though. Like I said before, I’m just trying to help inform people as to what ‘within the limits of the law’ actually is. I was slight misinformed before I took the concealed carry class. I probably won’t even get my permit. But that’s the exact reason as to why I took that class. I will definitely react slightly different in proposed situations now that I know, and I will probably be a lot better off legally for doing so.
  13. STFU. No one cares about whatever problem you have with John. If you have something to say about him that any of us might give a shit about, come out and say it. Say it in this thread right now. If you don't, then please quit making me skip over ever single one of your worthless post. You two sound like a couple of middle school girls that are about ready to rip each others hair out. As funny as that was to watch in middle school, it just seemed childish by the time I was in high school.
  14. If your sister ask really nicely I might give it to her, but you’re never going to get that one. graemlins/lol.gif
  15. "Do it again! Do it again! It tastes so good when it hits your lips." I'm going to make a very special drink on Wed for you all.
  16. Good job Ben. graemlins/thumb.gif I vaguely remember something about trading head buts to the arms with you. Last night rocked. And don't forget about the 12 pack on top of the 151 we finished too by the end of the night. Or the beer bong we fabricated.
  17. Ben told me on Thursday night that he was in love with you.
  18. Under the letter of the law that would be you threatening their life. They could pull out a gun to protect themselves, you shoot them, and you get to go to jail because you were the aggressor in that situation. Bull shit? Maybe, but in Ohio you can not protect property with deadly force. We can think it's bullshit all we want though. I'm going to do what I need to do to protect myself and property while staying out of jail. There isn't very much that pisses me off more than people stealing, especially when it's my stuff. But it's not worth going to jail over. A car isn't worth very much while your sitting in a jail cell with bubba and your car's been taken away due to the civil suit you also lost. I guess you didn't know what the law was, but a Judge or jury won't see that as an excuse for your actions. That's exactly why I took the concealed carry class. I probably won't get my permit, I never really planed on it. But I wanted to know what the laws were pertaining to situations like this. Now that I know, I will defiantly react differently in certain situations, such as this one, if they ever arise. This is a really good read. It was one of the same booklets that was given to me during my concealed carry class. When it comes to protecting loved ones though, that's when the law really wouldn't matter to me.
  19. Make sure it's one of the titanium impregnated saw proof ones. tongue.gif
  20. I had fun at that place one time. Then another time we went there for lunch and they cut us off. Well, they actually cut two of my friends off from ordering drinks for the g/f's because they thought they were trying to get them drunk to take advantage of them. Both of them had been dating the girls for ~6 years, and no one was drunk, including the girls. I'll never go back to that place. graemlins/finger.gif There are a ton of clubs, you'd be pretty hard pressed to find one that's really bad. Talk to people up there, they are really helpful about which places to go. Me not being a club person, I love The Honest Lawyer and Pattrick O'Ryans. The Honest Lawyer is on the strip with all of the clubs. There are usually alot of hot girls at the Honest Lawyer, very busy at night and a party environment without the super loud music and dancing. Patty O's is right behind the Travelodge on the river, which is where we usually stay. I've never had a problem with quick service and really cool bartenders at either of those places. I’m sure you might have a problem with lines at bars at clubs though. They usually have live music at night at Patty O's, really fun, especially if you’re wasted and feel like acting Irish for the night. graemlins/thumb.gif The Travelodge is within walking distance from everything and is ~120USD/night for a two queen bed room for normal rates. I've been to Canada a dozen times, before and after 9-11, been searched and rejected due to mace in the car once. All's you need is a drivers license (or some state issued ID), and a notarized birth certificate or a passport. I'm sure a social will help too. You can call border patrol and they will tell you the same thing. Take two forms of picture ID if you have it, some clubs and the casion want some two forms of ID if you are under 21. Usually just anything with your name on it will work though for the second ID, like a credit card or a student ID. I'll second what Dragknee66 said, just take a weekend up there. You can get a birth certificate pretty easily downtown at the Health Department if you were born in Franklin County, if any of you need one. I'm going up this up coming weekend, have fun when you go. smile.gif
  21. I've got one in stock, but you aint getting it. graemlins/lol.gif
  22. You need to learn how to ski then, or something you can do in the winter that doesn't involve sitting on your ass all of the time. I'm probably getting these over the summer, maybe this week actually. Still reading up on different skis and deciding which ones I want. http://www.lapoudre.com/materiel/img/Dynastar_29.jpg and http://www.rakuten.co.jp/websports/img1030859563.jpeg
  23. www.innovatemotorsports.com Buy anything else and you are wasting your money imho.
  24. A cop suggesting someone use lethal force to protect property. Brilliant!
  25. Adam, read the post. He's just giving away the motor. IIRC a 305 won't drop into a fourth gen f-body, hence him saying "if your car was older", i.e. a third gen. Nice find on the laser, that's a steal. graemlins/thumb.gif
