  1. I thought this was usually 'failure to control' unless the wreck was caused by the person driving recklessly?

  3. I'm going to build him that soapbox for his birthday that he's wanted for so long. Happy birthday man.
  4. Desperado, You have some serious psychological issues. You think you are better than everyone and because of that everyone is out to get you. Mike C simply posted asking you about your car ran and you come back attacking him. You have some major self worth issues and I think if you went and got help to resolve them, it would make your life much more enjoyable.

  6. A guy where I work, works for one part time. I'll ask him if they are, or knows of anyone else who is.
  7. Obviously not too bright. He ever let you drive that BMW you claim is yours per your Vehicle Description?

  9. Well are they replacing them on BMW's bill or are they asking her to pay for it? If they are paying for it, yes they should have told her why, but shouldn't she have also asked them why if they didn't state it? Obviously if they are asking for any money from her pertaining to the con-rod/bearing replacement it's time for a letter to BMW's American offices.
  10. Pwned. I use Sunoco 94 if I can find it, if not I use Shell 93.
  11. Deleware the state? If so, a guy from work is from there. I can give him a call.
  12. Did they get another deal with the lot across the street or is that how much it normally is at night?
  13. Elevator on High between Spring and Long on the West side of the street. Barleys. Brewhouse No. 1 is in the brewery district on the Westside of High right in front of the North Market/Across High from the Convention Center. Brewhouse No. 2 is on 33 (River Side Dr. not sure what it's called there) just West of Grandview Ave on the North side of the road. I highly suggest any of these, you can't go wrong. You can probably spend more time at the Elevator and not get bored though. A friend came in for the Cincinnati game and I basically wanted to do the same thing. We went and had dinner and the beer sampler at the Elevator, played some pool and looked around the place. I cannot emphasize how amazing some of the architecture (floor, bar, ceiling, glass), stained glass, paintings and pool tables are in this place. If you go there look at the stained glass angle on the righ hand side and her gown, also make sure you walk into the two front 'round' places and look up. Then we shoot over to Barleys for a beer, appetizer and played some darts. Both places have good food, just different. Ask for the Firkin at Barleys. Avoid Gordon Biersch like the plague. I hate that place. Those are the places that I've been in Columbus and which ones I like and don’t' like. graemlins/thumb.gif Oh, and unlike what the other places people have suggested in this thread seem to be, these places are Micro Brewery’s. They brew their own beer. tongue.gif Except for Gordon Biersch, they brew some beer, but they are a yuppie club.
  14. I know who he is talking about and I will vouch for them too. If I decide I'd like to touch up the S4 and/or Talon I will be taking those to them. Really sorry to hear about what happened. I haven't heard any of the stories about what's happened to your car but have heard you've had alot of bad luck with it. It sucks that your just having more right now, stick with it and when the cars done you will be glad that you did. graemlins/thumb.gif
  15. Some are good and some are bad. It's a mixed bunch with those. I've heard nothing but good stuff about the ECSTA MX's and almost bought those for my car for summer, great tire for the price too. I've heard nothing but bad about the ECSTA Supra's. The VictoRacer's are obviously a favorite among autocrossers and road racers this year.
  16. Agreed, but as I stated earlier unless your car just drives horrible the 10 days a year we have to drive through snow, a snow tire isn't really necessary here imho. I'm not going to try to say a snow tire doesn't do 10 times better in the snow than even an all season that does well in the snow, we just don't get road coverage that often. A snow tire will be much more expensive and wear down quicker, won't ride as well. It's going to be worse in every other area than an equivalent all season. Plus my 'winter tires' (all season) mounted on my stock rims are going to be my second set/back up set of tires and rims, just incase something happens to the other ones, or if I'm taking a long trip, keep the wear on the expensive tires down. I wouldn't want to have my backup tires be winter ones that I end up using a time or two during the summer.
  17. I've heard very good things and will probably be getting, for the winter on the S4, a set of Sumitomo HTR+. These are what alot of people suggest for winter driving if you're not going with a winter tire, which I fell is not worth it around here. A fairly inexpensive tire too, $85 each for a 225/45/17 on Tire Rack. My summer/performance tires on it are the Michelin Pilot Sport PS/2's and I like them alot, I've also heard very good things from people about Michelin in general so I'll second their tires in general. But damn, just saw that the Pilot Sport A/S is $175 each, won't see me buying any all seasons (compromise tire imho) that cost that much.
  18. I don't think you'll need reminded, it will just be a natural reaction to just want to regardless of if you know who he is or not.
  19. That would have been the end of that kids odd, fucked up, life, if that were me. That's more than just a little strange.
  20. She'd have gotten a letter in the mail and it would have been all over the news. I also assumed in stating that, that these people are automotive enthusiast, to some extent. I figured it was implied, but I guess some people need every implication spelled out to them or they feel they have some point they need to argue.
  21. I had a really bad roommate the first half of the first quarter of my freshman year. We almost got into a few fistfights and I'm usually very easy to get along with. Biggest asshole I've ever met. Got to the point where I sat down with my RA and said, 'you have to get me out of here before we kill each other, don't care where to.' He talked to the HR after he got back that weekend and switched me ASAP. Moved out to somewhere 'no one' wanted to live because it was so far out and the rooms were way to small. Became best friends with the guy I moved in with and numerous other people in that hall. It may not be all roses with moving, but I'm sure it will be better than this.
  22. Plus eleventy billion. I've never owned a rotary or ever done any research into them and I've heard and know about this problem with these cars. If someone’s car breaks down because of their ignorance of a well-documented, easily fixable problem, I have very little pity for them.

    College Life

If you can name one class you have taken or will take that's as hard as half of the classes I've taken then please speak up. Otherwise, take your broken ass car and sit over in the retards corner. I could not have gotten a better education anywhere in this state and I am very adamant about that.
